Chapter 30

“Err Miss Heather, I have to go now. I have to run some errands for your Aunt Amor. Sir Blake has your stuff. Bye!”

Heather just sighed while Blake smirked. He showed her the overnight bag he was carrying.

"Give me my bag then go!" She said in an emotionless voice and she tried to reach for it.

As expected, he didn’t want her to have it.

"Let me in while you get dressed. I will take you home." he said.

He wasn’t showing any emotions too but he stopped smirking. "I am not that stupid! I will not let you inside! Give me my bag!” she said gratingly.

Blake ran his eyes from her still damp hair to her cute toes with pink polish.

"Much as I want to fuck your delicious body right now sweetheart, I don't want to shock your aunt again." he said dryly.

She looked angrily at him but she just had to take his word for it. She knew he wouldn’t want her aunt to get mad at him. And she felt that he wasn’t leaving as she ordered him. She stomped her foot and scowled at him before she turned around and got inside.

When Blake entered the living room, his eyes were still on her face and that made her felt regretful for letting him in. He looked so good as usual. He was in a white short-sleeved shirt which emphasized his biceps. His grayish blue eyes seemed more attractive. And as always, he smelled wonderful too. Now she realized that she missed his scent and his magnificent body. She felt her body reacted to him. And what was worse was that she was naked under the towel. She moistened her lips.

"Hand me my bag." she said in a weak voice. To her surprise he did while his eyes were never leaving her face. “Wait here! I’ll get dressed!”

She turned around then gasped when he pulled her against the front of his body. She wanted to protest but she couldn’t. She felt weak.

He wrapped his arms around her waist then whispered in her left ear. "Sweetheart please don't ever do that again. I was really worried about you." he said throatily.

She closed her eyes and leaned the back of her head against his chest. He sounded sincere and something touched her heart. She was feeling emotional and she was about to cry. She bit her lower lip to stop herself from crying. He kissed the side of her neck lightly.

"Go get dressed so we can get out of here. We need to talk princess." He whispered.

Blake was very angry thinking about where Heather was and who she was with last night. But now that he discovered that she slept in her aunt's, he felt relieved. He was dying to know why she just left the bar last night without telling him but they would talk about that later. What was important was she wasn’t with any assholes. He would have beaten up some dickheads again if ever. He turned her around.

"Promise me that you won’t ever leave without telling me sweetheart.” . His forehead creased when he noticed that her eyes seemed to be a little wet .He cupped her face in his hands. "Sweetheart? What's wrong?" he asked in a throaty voice.

Heather just closed her eyes then shook her head. Her lips seem to be trembling a little. He felt something kicked him. He was not aware that being this close to her was really making his emotions go wayward. "Princess.." he uttered.

She moved out of his hands. "I'll get ready ." She said.

With a heavy sigh, he released her.

Once the door was closed, Heather leaned her back against it. The tears finally went down her face. There was no turning back...she loved Blake. She gripped her chest then sobbed quietly. This was what she was afraid of , but she couldn’t do anything to stop her feelings.

Blake sat down on the sofa. He had his head bent down between his legs. His hands were on his nape. He felt lucky seeing Amy at the lobby. Something made him want to go back to his unit earlier than usual. He straightened and leaned on the sofa. His hands were still on his nape. He was worried last night and was jealous as hell. Heather could easily attract me. He thought that she was with another man. He felt pain and rage.

"SHIT!!" he muttered as he abruptly stood up from the couch. He was now pacing the room He didn't have this feelings when he was with Kristel. He was over what Kristel did to him but he still didn’t want to trust any female. He was scared of being committed to anyone. He had wasted three years of his life and he didn’t want a repeat of that .He was betrayed and cheated on. Even before Kristel he wasn’t into serious relationships. He met her through Elaine. That time he was only twenty five. And since he was very good-looking and a member of a bad, many women were after him. He was a virile man and even without a steady girlfriend he could have sex anytime he wanted.

Kristel was pretty and simple. Maybe he was attracted to her because of that. He was just planning to have a one night stand with her but he was shocked when he found out he was her first. She was his fist virgin so he didn’t know what happened to him. He just woke up one day having her as his real girlfriend. They were okay at first but she was very possessive. She made scenes at bars where he played so he stopped playing. He was only able to breathe again when she became an international flight attendant. He felt he gained a little freedom because of that because she couldn’t always check on him anymore. He was really shocked when after several months, she said that she was pregnant. He had to live with her until she gave birth. His parents took care of Kurt because Kristel’s parents lived in another country. He wanted to give Kurt a good future so he took the risk with his cousin Eve. They opened a bar in the city which was very far from his hometown where his parents helped raise Kurt. He could only come home once a week since he had to fly by air just to see them. He didn’t love Kristel but he remained faithful and he did try to be a good boyfriend to her. Plenty of times she hinted that she wanted to get married but he just ignored her each time. For him the set-up was enough for the time being. He wasn’t yet ready to tie the knot with anyone. But he did everything to be a great dad to Kurt that was why he was really hurt and furious when he found out that Kurt wasn’t his son. He started to have the life that he had now after his bitter experience. He liked his life now. Fuck and go. All was well until he saw Heather again...

Heather went out of the bedroom. She noticed that Blake caught his breath when he saw her. She had black skinny jeans on and a gray sleeveless top which hugged her body. She was wearing a pair of black wedges. She wasn’t showing any cleavage but was still sexy.

Blake clenched his fists on his sides. Whatever Heater wore, she would look alluring. Maybe he just needed to really accept the fact that she had a great body and she was very lovely. He would just take care of the assholes around her. He noticed that she looked uneasy as she walked to the living room.

Heather put her overnight bag on the sofa. He came near her. She was about to turn away from him but he took hold of her hands to face her to him. She had her head turned the other way so he had to frame her face with his hands.

"Sweetheart, look at me.”

"Blake, I meant what I said on my text. I want out." She said in a weak voice. Her eyes were hiding some emotions.

His hands on her tightened. NO!" he said angrily.

She tried to get free from his hold. "Can't you get it? I don't want to be just like one of your women!"

His eyes narrowed. He pulled her face closer to his. "We were okay last night! What made you change your mind?!" he asked in a more controlled voice. She lowered her eyes which made him angrier. "Is it because of another man?!" he rasped.

She didn’t expect him to ask her about something like that so she didn’t respond immediately. She bit the bottom of her lip.

"BULLSHIT! Who the fuck is it?! "

Heather touched his hands on her face. "N-No one." she said.

He was glaring at her. His breathing was uneven as he tried to control his rage. He was ready to hurt that fucking bastard .

"E-Elaine said something last night.." she said suddenly.

"You talked to Elaine?" he asked with a frown.

She nodded. "She was very insulting so I slapped her."

He straightened then released her face. He took her hands instead . "What did she say to you sweetheart? Was she the reason why you left?" he asked in a much calmer voice.

"Yes. She said that I am just like your other women. She also said that you are not yet over your ex.”

He cursed. He enveloped her in his arms for a few seconds. She had her hands on her sides. Then he put a small distance between them to look at her face. "Sweetheart, you know that I won’t agree with what you want. We will fix this. Let’s talk somewhere else." he said.

"I don’t know Blake. Maybe she is right.."

He cursed. "We will fix this! No way will I let you back out! YOU ARE MINE!! If we need to change some of the fucking rules , then we will! You will stay mine! he said angrily.

She was about to say something when they heard knocks. Blake had no choice but to release her. He raked his hand through his hair in exasperation. Heather walked to the door. Her eyes widened. Kevin was outside and he was all smiles. On his right hand he had a paper bag of a well-known fast food shop and on his left, a paper bag of a popular brand of clothing for women.

"I brought us some food hon. And I also went to the mall to get you a change of clothing." he said while slightly frowning when he saw her wearing a different set of clothes already.

"Who is it sweetheart?" she heard Blake asked behind her.

She swallowed. She smelled trouble…
