Blake wanted to curse angrily. Who the fuck is that Adam? He furiously asked himself.

He was mad as a hatter but he should chill a bit. He heard her say that she didn’t like that asshole. And she sounded a bit annoyed when she asked her dad why he gave that Adam her number. He had to control his jealousy especially after hearing what she said. He made his promise to her and to himself that he would not manhandle her again. What is making him grit his teeth was the fact that asshole seemed to really liked Heather. She was his and that was it.

Heather’s face paled and she was looking at Blake with worry in her eyes. "Sweetheart have you been there long?” She asked him again in a small voice.

" What do you think?" His tone was steely.

She felt really uncomfortable. "D-Did y-you hear...."

She moistened her lips. "S-Sweetheart. P-Please don’t be mad." she whispered while looking at him nervously.

"Who is Adam? " His eyes were hard.

"He is the son of my dad’s friend." she said.

He straightened. "Why didn't you tell your father about us?"

She lowered her eyes. "I will tell him eventually. I don’t think he will like it. I just got back here and now I already have a boyfriend. I am still trying to gain their trust. They sent me here to work." she replied.

"He wants that asshole for you! He should know that it's not possible any longer!" he hissed.

She raised her eyes to look at him. "Sweetheart I love you. I am not interested in Adam." She closed the gap between them and wrapped her arms around him. She rested the right side of her face on his broad chest. "I love you." she said and Blake sighed heavily.

Blake knew she was telling the truth because he heard what she said. He wouldn’t take his anger out on her. He would deal with that dickhead when he gets the chance. If he wanted to keep her, he should take care of her like what he promised Eve At this point, he would let this pass. She said she loved him and he believed her He enveloped her in his arms.

Heather closed her eyes in relief. She smiled. Her man was trying to change. He really loved her. She raised her head to gaze at him. He lowered his head and a smile broke his lips. "Thank you sweetheart. I do love you." she whispered.

His smile widened which made him look sexier. "I love you my princess." he said before kissing her on the lips.
