The slamming of the bedroom door broke me out of my sleep. And then a set of lips were on me.

I relaxed and kissed him back eagerly when I realized it was just Nikolai. His hands were frantic as he touched, grabbed, and squeezed my entire body. As if he was making sure that I was here.

He ripped my nighty apart and trailed open-mouthed kisses down my neck. A loud moan left my mouth when he kissed my mark.

He left kisses between the valley of my breasts, squeezing them, and then came back up.

My entire back arched off the bed when he suddenly slammed inside me. "Nikolai." I cried out.

His intensity was maddening. My entire body was in a fire as he pumped into me with wild abandonment. Almost like he needed to bask in my warmth or he would lose himself. No scratch that, he wanted to lose himself. In me.

That's when I realized that something is wrong.

I met his thrust for thrust until we were both sweaty and spent. Which was about ten times after. We were both panting and I couldn't get over what just happened. We had never done it these many times a row. I usually got tired after seven times. He had the stamina to go on all night long if he wanted to, but it got a little too much for me. I was slowly getting to his level but it was a time-consuming process. This was normal for werewolves but for some reason, my wolf got tired quickly nowadays.

Nik started kissing me all over again and slowly started moving down my neck. I held his head and brought him up again so he was looking at me in the eye. "Sorry, are you sore? Did I hurt you?"

"No. But you look hurt. What happened, Nik?"

He sighed and rolled off me. And I rolled right on top of him. "What happened, Love? How did it go?"

"Nothing. It went just fine." He closed his eyes. I wrapped my arms around his large form and placed my head against his chest, over his heart. "Don't worry. Everything will work out. Just see."

His arms came around me. "There is only one thing we can do- wait."

"When will Max call?"

"Tomorrow." He replied.

"Sleep Nik," I murmured, my eyes already drooping. "Everything will be alright, I promise."

When I woke up, the bed was cold which meant Nik left a long time ago. I quickly threw clothes on and padded outside, that's when I realized it was already eleven am. I got deja vu when I realized that the entire house was empty.

Where is everyone?

I tried to mind-link Nik but it was shut. I went in search of Tessa. I was very sore and I figured I could use a warm bath. I hardly had any. After all, I was always in a rush because I needed to prepare breakfast.

I went to the kitchen and found April making food.

"Can you give me something to eat?" I'll have one after food. I'm famished.

"Sure, give me a couple of minutes, Luna." She said and quickly made me egg toast and a cup of cold coffee.

"Thanks," I said as I quickly scarfed down my brunch.

"Send Tessa to my bedroom," I told her and got off the barstool and made my way upstairs. I decided to do some stretching before the bath so I would loosen my muscles.

I went to my bedroom and shed my clothes before I heard a knock.

"Who is it?" I asked, knowing it was most probably Tessa.

"It's Tessa, Mistress."

"Come in," I called in and started with my stretching. I always found clothes very restricting while stretching. But that was probably because I had big boobs and a butt. Most of my underwear gave me a wedgie once I start stretching and I can never find a sports bra that was comfortable enough.

Tessa's eyes lowered and a blush rose on her cheeks when she saw I was naked. She will get used to it soon. I realized that she had brought in an entire cart with her, filled with glass bottles that had different oils in them.

"What is all of this?" I asked her.

"Alpha's orders. I'm supposed to give you a massage and then bathe you." She replied.

Nik is too sweet.

"Do you even know what to do?" I asked.

"I worked in a salon & spa shop before I was... taken. A lot of these things are new but I promise you that I  started studying about it the moment Alpha told me what I had to do. I will not make any mistakes or cause you any pain." She said earnestly.

"Okay then, go ahead." I nodded.

She quickly placed a sheet on top of the bed and placed the cart next to the bed.

"Please lie on the bed, Mistress. On your front." I did as she said and in a couple of seconds, she started massaging my back, breaking the friction with the oils and massaging them in my skin.

I then told her the truth. "I asked not because I fear that you will hurt me," her human hands couldn't technically hurt me enough to harm me, "I asked because I don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

A moan left my mouth when she applied pressure on my lower back. She focused on that part more.

"I love to serve you, Mistress. I have been with you only for two days and you have been more kind to me than anyone I have ever met. I owe you my life. Before you... I had lost the will to live." Vulnerability shone through her words.

"But we reunited with your sister Jessica," I said gently.

Her hands didn't falter for a second as she thoroughly massaged my back and then my butt. Her hands worked wonders. "She has turned one of them, Mistress."

"Vampires?" I asked for confirmation. Rhazien would want his mate to live with him forever. It only made sense. But just not to Tessa.

"Yes, Mistress. Is your back better or do you need me to massage it more?" She asked.

"It's perfect, thank you." My muscles felt very light.

"Could you please turn over?" She asked again. I turned over and picked my hand and placed it on her shoulder so I had support and started massaging my arms with concentration.

"Not all vampires are bad, do you know that?" I asked.

"But they hurt us just to survive. They drink human blood to survive. And hurting others is not okay, or normal." She shook her head.

"I love that you think that, Tess." I smiled and that caused her to smile. "Now tell me, are you vegetarian or nonvegetarian?"

Her smile faltered. "Non-vegetarian."

"Which means you kill animals just to please your taste buds. When you could just not hurt them by eating vegetarian food?"

"Yes, Mistress." Her voice lowered.

"Unlike you, those vampires have no choice but to drink blood. And just like God made you, God made them and us werewolves too. We can't help our nature. They drink blood and we turn into wolves. We all kill in our ways, Tessa. It's survival of fittest." I said softly. "The only reason humans are alive is that we choose not to kill them. We do not want war. We like peace."

Her eyes teared up and she remained silent and continued massaging my hand. She finally massaged my palm and fingers before placing it down and picking up the other and starting with it.

"Then why do you have slaves? We don't." She spoke again.

"That's where the line between good and bad blurs. Slavery was prevalent amongst humans too. And while they changed their ways, we didn't. Vampires can't because they need human blood to drink. And if they let a human go after drinking their blood, he will tell the others and cause war. We can't have that. That's the only reason slavery can't be removed from our worlds. Werewolves don't need them but we buy them anyways. It has gotten worse now, I know. Slaves are being exploited for more than just their blood. But it has been so deeply ingrained in our culture and tradition that no one can change it. Our worlds entirely too much rely on you for us want to change it." I explained the best I could.

I used to think just like her in the start but Nik helped me see it differently and now I understand.

She placed my hand down and then started massaging my chest, breasts, and abdomen.

"You are a Luna and a Queen. You can surely make a difference, Mistress." She said softly.

"I tried in the start. I talked to Nik. But it was fruitless," I sighed. "I don't like it either but I tried to make as much difference as I can. I haven't once punished a since slave in this house. I took in April when she became Master-less so she wouldn't have to go through the process again. I took you in because I knew you desperately didn't want to go back to Mozog."

"Thank you, Mistress." She bowed her head, "for taking me in and treating us all better."

She then moved to my legs.

"Can you massage them a bit harder?" I asked.

"Yes, Mistress." She nodded and promptly increased the pressure as she massaged my calves and then my thighs. And then shifted to the next leg and repeated the process.

"Are your legs better now, Mistress?" She asked.

"Yes, thank you." I nodded and straightened and stretched them. She wiped her hands on a towel and then poured a different oil on her hand.

"Can you please spread your legs more, Mistress?" She asked, eyeing the region between my legs.

"You don't need to do that."

"I don't mind, Mistress." She said truthfully. I spread my legs and she massaged over my skin before her hands went lower and slid in my lips before scissoring out. She contributed her ministrations and changed movement, making me moan.

A was hardly a minute away and I caught her hand. "That will be enough, Tessa," I said breathlessly. I wanted her to finish, but as Nik said, my orgasms are only for him.

She got up and went to the bathroom and I heard the water running and then she came out with cleaned hands. She said besides me again and took the cream and rubbed it over her palms, "please close your eyes, Mistress."

I closed my eyes and she started massaging my face. A deep breath left me. I feel very relaxed.

Not having the willpower to even open my mouth, I just nodded. After she was done, I opened my eyes. "Please stay here, Mistress", and then she rolled the cart in the bathroom. The sound of running water went off and after a couple of minutes, she stepped out with the cart.

"I have filled you a bath, Mistress. You said Alpha prefers your natural scent so I added salts that will help enhance that. After you are done, please call me. I need to help you clean too. Do you prefer for me to wait inside the bathroom or outside?" She asked.

"Outside," I replied and forced my muscles to cooperate and help me stand up.

"You gave me one hell of a massage, Tessa. Thank you. I hope you don't it if I make you do it often."

"You are welcome anytime, Mistress." She smiled and began packing her stuff. I closed the bathroom door and walked inside, already feeling like I'm walking in clouds. I saw that the large bathtub was willed with warm water and rose petals floating on it. I smelled salts I did not recognize. I stepped inside and lied down. I turned on the television in front of and picked up the chocolate Tessa had most probably left for me.

"Tessa." I called as I got out after watching a couple of episodes of the series 'Friends' Sofiya had suggested me a while ago.

Tessa came in, "how do you feel, Mistress?"

"Wonderful." I smiled and stepped into the shower stall along with her. I turned on the showerheads. Tessa had removed her clothes and was wearing her bra and panties. She shampooed my hair and then she brought in a soft cloth. Then she squeezed some body wash over it and rubbed it over my body before helping me rinse it off.

"Give me a minute please, Mistress." She said and stepped out. I stood under the shower and enjoyed the water. Tessa knocked on the glass and I shut the shower before stepping out. She patted my body dry with a towel before she helped me into a bathrobe. She was already dried and dressed. She led me to my closest.

What she gave me to wear surprised me. I had expected an entire makeover and a beautiful dress because I thought Nik was taking me out on a date. But she had given me comfy, silk pajama bottoms and a soft, fuzzy top. She blow-dried my hair and didn't do anything with them. She didn't even ask me for makeup.

"Are you sure?" I asked as I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked like was going to sleep rather than having a date. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely comfortable and these are the softest and the most comfortable things I own but I just did not expect it.

"Mistress. Alpha is waiting for you." She opened the closet door.

That's when I saw Nik. He too was wearing silk pajamas I didn't know he owned and a comfy t-shirt. Smiling widely, I walked towards him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"What is all of this?" I asked, excitement evident in my tone.

"I told you I will make up for Christmas. This is me making up. Giving you work and stress-free relaxing day and a dinner date in our pajamas in bed."

I grinned. How thoughtful of him! "I love it, thank you, Nikolai. I didn't even know you owned a pair." I giggled, I know how much he loves sleeping naked. And how much he loves for me to sleep naked.

"I bought them for today. Come." He tugged me to bed and made me sit on his lap and placed a plate between us.

"What was the verdict of yesterday?" I asked. I hope everything went well. Even though today was one of the most relaxing days of my life, the thought of the outcome put me on edge again.

"I don't know yet either. Max should call right about now." And true to Nik's word, his phone rang.

He set the phone on speaker. "How did it go?"

The stretched silence gnawed at my stomach and a pit grew in my belly. My eyes connected with Nik and now he looked worried too.

"Max? How did it go?" I asked, dread-filled in my voice.
