Andre was just hanging up on a call with the repairer when Professor Lee barged into the department office, wearing a ferocious look on her face.
"How could such a thing have happened?" She barked as the graduates were rising to greet her that afternoon. "Someone could have gotten hurt." She yelled again and Michelle flinched, unable to recall the last time that the professor had gotten mad, because of a school accident.
She couldn't blame her, though. They had only been lucky that no one had been in the studio when the incident had happened. Everyone has been shocked out of their wits on arriving school that morning, only to be greeted with the scene of the fan, which has been over Tahti's table, on the floor along with the shattered art pieces for the artwork, she had been preparing for the upcoming exhibition.
"We'll get everything repaired properly." Andre said, with his head bowed.
"Yes professor. We'll make sure it never happens again."
The professor dragged in a ragged breath, obviously trying to calm her unsettled nerves down, before asking. "How's Tahti?"
Mitchelle's foot slowly moved towards Andre's to nudge at it and he cleared his throat. "She's still in shock."
The professor sighed as she walked over to one of the seats in the office to sit, before massaging her forehead with her hand.
"She won't have enough time to fix it before the exhibition, professor." He added.
"I know."
"It's not even her fault." Michelle murmured. "Exams are starting next week too."
The professor leaned back on the chair to look at them. "Don't force her into doing anything. If she says she's going to give up, then we don't have a choice but to slot in her name for the second badge of the exhibition." "Alright prof." Michelle said and the professor groaned as she rose to her feet. "Remember, don't force her into doing anything for now. She'll only break down, some more." The professor reminded and the duo rose to bow over as she headed out of the office.
