The entrance of the school's gallery was crowded with tons of students from other departments, with noises coming out from almost every corner that saturday afternoon.
Two students from the sculpture department were exhibiting their pieces and the rest of the department were starting to appear in troops to show love to Sol and Tathi.
"Good lord, how could I have forgotten to bring a flower for Tahti?" April whined, slapping herself on the forehead over and over again.
"It's fine. I'm sure she'll understand." Derek replied as he held her hand back, before she could hit herself again.
"I'm a terrible bestie."
"You're not."
"Hey, April." They heard someone yell out from behind them and the couple's heads whipped round to see Jennie and Herley walking towards them, each holding a bouquet of flowers. April, who seemed frightened, turned back to whine at Derek.
"They came with flowers too."
"Of course. I got them for Sol." She replied.
"So did I." Herley added, raising his bouquet for a display.
"Tahti's so going to hate me for this." She pouted.
"You forgot to bring a flower?" Jennie asked, in disbelief.
"That aside, I heard an artwork belonging to Maria Sanchez, a girl from the art department, has the best evaluation." Herley said and Jennie turned to glare at him.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Sol's piece is the best." She yelled and April rolled her eyes.
"She's praising Sol, as usual."
"You guys are here, already?"
The crew heard Jasmine yell out in the distance and they turned to see her dragging her boyfriend, towards them, amidst the crowd.
"You guys are late."
"I'm sorry. Jasmine was the one, who won't let us leave until she finished her makeup."
"Now that everyone's here, why don't we take a picture?" Herley suggested, and on agreeing, everybody huddled together as he raised his phone towards a better angle, for a picture.
"Say cheese."
April slapped the back of his head before the crew could even think of saying that, along with him, which sent Jennie bursting into laughter.
"Really? Cheese? What do you take us for? High school kids?" She asked and Derek chuckled.
"Do you guys mind keeping it down and getting in?" Everyone's head turned, to see Andre and Michelle striding towards them, looking all suited up, an outfit which no member of the crew had ever seen them in.
"Wow..." Jasmine gushed, hearts glowing in her eyes. "You guys look different in suits."
"Yeah. Different but cool." Herley added, with a thumbs-up and Michelle smiled.
"Thank you."
"I appreciate the compliments guy, but can you head in now. Professor Lee is waiting for you."
"What?" April asked, her eyes widening and the crew hurriedly turned to head in. They were supposed to be there earlier, so as to help out, but April had convinced the crew to slack off work, promising to take the full responsibility for them.
