"Guys, take it easy." Michelle called after them as they struggled to get past the main door. The professor had promised to deduct marks from upcoming exhibitors, who were late for the day, which would indirectly result in an extra year.
Curators and exhibiters were standing next to each piece, by the time they walked in and most of them gasped on seeing the gallery, which was only open whenever the school had exhibitions.
"This place is so cool." Jasmine said as they walked past displaying art piece from other departments.
"Sol's piece is up ahead." Jennie announced and Herley raised a finger to point at something.
"There she is." He beamed.
Sol's elegant piece of a railway sleeoer glowed under the spotlight, where it had been located and the crew were awed to se e it's elegance, despite having it's 1990's look.
"Wow." Chris murmured, whipping out his jotter as the curator, began explaining the details of the work. Jennie, however wasn't paying attention to what she was saying, rather she busied herself staring back at Sol, who talked to her, using her eyes, to pay attention to what was being said.
"What's the name of the piece, again?" Chris asked.
"Union." The curator replied and Chris frowned, his brows slightly joined together.
"Onion?" He asked and Jennie turned to glare at him, an icy disdained expression on her face.
"It's union." She corrected.
"Do enjoy the rest of your tour around the gallery." The curator smiled, when she was finished and Jennie, who had gotten bored from the talk, hurried over to hand her, her bouquet.
"Congratulations." She smiled as Sol hugged her, rewarding her with a peck.
"Thanks."
"Congratulations, Sol." Herley said, disrupting them as he pushed his bouquet towards her, forcing the girls to pull apart and Jennie turned to give him a cold glare "Thanks, Herley " She smiled, receiving the bouquet.
"Congratulations, Sol. I forgot to come with a bouquet, though." April waved, before turning around to look for something.
"By the way, do you know where Tahti's piece is?"
"It's over there." Sol pointed and everyone turned to follow the direction of her finger, towards the back of the gallery, where the highlights of the exhibitions were usually showcased.
"Woah..."
"Let's go have a look." Sol suggested and everyone turned towards the back of the gallery.
"It's amazing." Jasmine was saying, when they were almost nearing.
"Yeah. I think the accident really helped her." Herley added and April threw a smack on his shoulder.
"Tahti won't be so happy to hear that." She bit out, through clenched teeth and the curator threw them a smile, when they neared.
"Welcome. This is the piece 'yeoji', which depicts..." The curator started and April's eues darted round the gallery, searching for Tahti, who was supposed to be standing next to her piece.
"Where is she?" She mumbled.
