Lunar's Room
Arkan's arrival was able to explain that their marriage relationship was real. It's just that Lunar's father doesn't like that marriage isn't discussed with him first. The atmosphere almost became tense if not the calming mother.
"That's enough. don't make things complicated. The wedding has already taken place." The mother approached her husband for a moment so she could whisper, "The important thing is that our child already has a husband, moreover he is richer than Nico. Lunar's life will definitely be as prosperous as what we wanted all this time."
The father cleared his throat, shaking his head. He was indeed happy when his daughter's life was prosperous, but not by simply handing Lunar over. There is a big responsibility that must be carried as a parent if you give Lunar to the wrong person.
"Arkan...." Suddenly the atmosphere turned serious when the father said.
"I am very disappointed with your choice to marry secretly. But what can be done when everything has happened. I hope my daughter lives with a man who can protect her and also take good care of her."
Lunar stared at the man who was now also looking at her. She couldn't tell what was going through Arkan's mind right now because that expression didn't change from what she had seen before. Their marriage was not something that could be taken seriously like what her father had said because they would separate eventually too.
"I promise to protect and take good care of Lunar." Arkan's words sounded confident and firm as well as his gaze.
Lunar was slightly surprised at the unexpected response. What was said just now does not look like a joke. Was it all done to convince her father only? For some reason, she hoped that those words weren't just lies.
They did not return immediately after the long family conversation. The Lunar White family requested that they stay for the night. There was no reason to argue, especially since they weren't in a position to refuse after secretly marrying.
Sora went home after eating dinner together. She seemed annoyed at Lunar, especially when she left the house and accidentally saw a man she recognized as Arkan's father. In that case, the defeat was obvious, right?

Now in the room, Lunar sat feeling restless. After dinner last night, Arkan still hasn't come back. Earlier her father had asked her to return to the room while Arkan still had to talk to her father. She was afraid that her father would make it difficult for Arkan. Is everything okay out there?
Anxiety pulled her to take a peek for a while so she could see what was really going on out there to the point that Arkan didn't come back either. She looked for her mother first who when spied on was already fast asleep in the room. Then, slowly her feet stepped towards the back porch of the house where Arkan and her father were now.
What she saw when reached the terrace was her father sleeping leaning back in a chair with head up, while Arkan sat in an upright position with his eyes still fully rounded. Why did the situation turn out like that? What do they actually do?
"Arkan," whispered Lunar, instantly making their eyes meet. "What happened? Why are you and my father...."
The father's movement made Lunar immediately stop her words. Then, she approached Arkan and pulled the man to go with her. They continued walking until they were away from the back patio area of the house.
"What really happened?" Lunar asked again.
"We are playing chess and whoever wins will get you. I tried to win, but your father fell asleep. That's why I waited for your father to wake up again. Even though, it's only one step away until I can win."
Lunar kissed the man's right cheek briefly. The feeling of happiness pushed her to do it all of a sudden. "Thank you for trying for me in front of father and mother."
Even though Lunar knows that everything is only to maintain their fake relationship, she is very happy because the man she loves is trying for her. To get it.
Arkan still frozen after her cheek was kissed. Slowly, she turned her head to the side, "You can kiss my left cheek too," he said in a low tone.
Lunar was stunned to hear that before finally smiling. She stepped forward a little, then kissed Arkan's left cheek gently. Their eyes met then carrying a pleasant thump.
"Do you know?" Arkan tilted his head. "We've played eight rounds of chess. And I've won nearly five. So, you owe me a lot. How are you going to pay it off then?"
"Pay?"
"I picked you up, confronted your parents, and tried to get you back."
"S—so you want me to pay it off with money?"
"That won't be enough."
"Then how?"
Lunar closed her eyes and something soft touched her lips. The taste is very sweet, moist, and also warm, it thrills the heart that has been filled with worries all day.
Arkan smiled after successfully kissing his wife's lips briefly. Meanwhile Lunar is still drifting in the nuances of desire that is reluctant to be abandoned. Now both wanted more than just a kiss.
Arkan rubbed his thumb on the moist lips and parted them slightly. He lowered his head again, looking into Lunar's eyes that seemed to be filled with desire. He ended their gaze with a kiss.
Slowly but surely those who were still kissing each other entered the room. They lay down on the bed with Arkan running his hands along the curves of his wife's body.
Lunar only watched how the moving hands opened her clothes. At that moment, the mother's call broke the atmosphere that was burning with passion earlier. They were surprised when the bedroom door was opened.
Lunar immediately tidied up her clothes, while Arkan who was facing the other way clumsily buttoned his shirt. The atmosphere turned awkward when the mother was also surprised to find what she shouldn't have seen. Then, the door to the room was immediately closed tightly.
Immediately after that Lunar got out of bed and approached the door. She just peeked at her mother from behind the door. "W-what's wrong, Mom?"
"You two should have locked the door," said the mother, looking so awry. "I forgot that you're married. You shouldn't open your room door carelessly. Ah, never mind. Continue what you're going to do. I'll cook in the kitchen."
Lunar glanced at the watch. Time flies so fast when they have intercourse that has not yet entered the real stage. Since she's been looking for reasons for Arkan not coming back, it's already three o'clock and now her mother wakes up to prepare breakfast.
Lunar brought her steps closer to her husband and fixed the collar that didn't line up at the end. She gave a short kiss on the lips hoping Arkan's annoyance would subside.
"Are you going to sleep until I get back later?"
"Not without you."
Arkan placed both hands on Lunar's waist while looking at the woman's two eyeballs. He could feel his chest vibrate as he watched Lunar. Only the woman in front of him could grab his attention like that. Maybe he had gone mad after the time they had been through.
