He Didn't Come?
Logically, if a wife is forcibly taken away by her parents-in-law, her husband will definitely pick her up. But even at night there was absolutely no sign of Arkan's presence.
"Does he really love you?" This time, from her mother's question, there was also a line of doubt.
Now it was Lunar's turn to ask herself. Is Arkan really not going to pick her up? Then will she marry Nico? She also couldn't possibly go against her parents' decision once again.
In reality it was like this, circumstances brought her back to the original origins. Lunar wants to be angry, but doesn't know who to be angry with.
"I don't think Arkan will come. He doesn't really love you. This must just be your trick so you don't marry Nico," said Sora so sure of her assumptions now.
"I think so too... If he really loved Lunar, it wouldn't take long for him to come get her. In fact, Nico was so sincere to you and you wasted it."
Lunar wants to answer the doubts of the two people, especially his mother who really sees Nico as a good person. On the other hand, someone who has to be responsible for all circumstances. But she also knew that no matter how many times explained no one would believe her.
"We'll wait for him until eight o'clock. If he doesn't come, then you have to marry Nico. This is the decision and no one can argue with it," said the father.
Those words ended their conversation. Now only Lunar and Sora were left in the room. The atmosphere turned silent when the two sister's decided to remain silent.
Before they were always close as sister's, now it was completely different as if there was a thick dividing wall blocking them. The incident that happened made Lunar think that her sister had bad intentions towards her while Sora felt that her sister was too lucky and she seemed to be defeated.
As Sora knows that her sister is married to a rich man, the heir of Royal Grey. She had seen first hand how young and handsome Arkan was and had even been fascinated by that handsomeness. Meanwhile she had to marry an old man.
Only wealth can be counted on from her husband. Even so, Arkan Gray is still richer. Now Lunar has everything she doesn't have, the complete opposite of her.
Sora clenched her fists when imagined all the achievements her little sister had. She should be at the peak of that glory, not Lunar who didn't have more beauty than her. Indeed, what does Arkan like about her sister?
Lunar who was watched from top to bottom by her brother felt uncomfortable and immediately changed her sitting position. Until their gazes met in an awkward atmosphere, Sora cleared her throat to shake off her thoughts for a moment as she was awakened from her reverie.
"Can I borrow your cell phone?" Lunar asked.
Sora glanced at her sister, then said, "For what? You want to use it to contact Arkan?"
"Yes. I want to contact Arkan."
Lunar actually didn't memorize her husband's contacts at all, but she could still work it out, right? Maybe she could connect with Arkan if she called the office. Royal Gray has an official website that can lead her to find a way out. From there, she will ask to be connected to his phone.
Sora narrowed her eyes as she considered whether it would be of any use if she lent a cell phone? It's better if Arkan doesn't come at all because then her sister will return to Nico. However, if she lends a cell phone it is certain that the road to approach Arkan will be wide open.
In order to get Arkan's contact, she will risk her sister being picked up. After this, she will take what should be owned. Competing with her younger sister, she would definitely win.
Sora took her cell phone out of the bag and handed it over. "You can use it. Don't take too long."
Lunar got the opportunity immediately grabbed the phone. "I'll give it back quickly," she said, moving away so she could find a safe place to talk.
After finding a safe place out of reach of anyone who could hear the conversation, Lunar looked for the Royal Gray's official website as well as a number that could help her get out of trouble. She searched for a long time until finally she was able to contact customer service.
Lunar is counted as a foreigner, suddenly asks to be connected to her call with the company leader being rejected repeatedly. She was very upset, but did not give up hope. She found a way through the contact of the apartment where she lived.
She spoke to the receptionist who was there and again got a refusal. They couldn't get through to the apartment's phone, this time because they feared she was a stalker.
Lunar took a deep breath before shouting. "Arkan Gray is my husband! I am Lunar Grey!"
The sound of knocking made Lunar immediately turn her head.
"Are you done? What's taking so long?" Outside her sister's voice.
Lunar snorted while the phone was still attached to the ear. She ran the fingers through her hair and lowered one leg that was in the toilet seat. It was really an extraordinary battle when dealing with customer service, coupled with the receptionist. None of them believed that she was Lunar Grey.
"You will get your payback later. I will ask my husband, Arkan Gray to get you fired!"
Unfortunately, Lunar's threats were not heeded, because the phone line had been cut. While waiting for her emotions to subside, Lunar tidied herself up in front of the mirror. Will everything really end?
She didn't want to give her life to Nico. It's better to have an unclear relationship with Arkan than to spend the rest of her life with a man who has betrayed.
Once again there was a knock on the door. "Lunar, come out quickly!" Not Sora's voice, but his mother's voice. "Arkan is coming to pick you up. Hurry up, get out!"
Hearing Arkan's name made Lunar sparkle. The man who had made her wait for a long time actually came to pick her up. She couldn't be dreaming, could she?
Instantly a smile appeared on Lunar's face. "I—I'll be right out!"
Lunar came out of the bathroom with a cheerful heart. The cellphone she had borrowed was returned to Sora. She hurried towards the living room and can't wait to meet her husband.
Her run slowly slowed down when both eyes managed to catch a figure that made her feelings so mixed. "Arkan...."
Arkan brought his eyes to the origin of the calling voice. There were three women standing. The woman who made him come to this house, Sora, and lastly the woman he would pick up.
Arkan thinned his lips as he stared at one of them. "Lunar, sorry for making you wait so long."
Unexpectedly by everyone, as if we had not seen each other for a long time, Lunar rushed over to hug Arkan. She didn't know that her feelings for that man would be this great to such a distance, for only a short time, making her feel like she had waited too long. She couldn't lie that she missed Arkan so much.
