Get The Lunar Parent's Heart Back
Lunar wiped her sweat with a tissue, while her appearance was still a mess due to Arkan's actions who didn't play around wanting to satisfy her in the car. Not that she didn't want to, but she couldn't believe they would do it that quickly the moment she accepted Arkan.
Arkan smiled seeing his wife looked overwhelmed. "I couldn't help myself. As long as you were gone, only your shadow accompanied me. When we first met again, I really wanted to hold you for a long time, but you just left me. Of course this wasn't your fault."
Arkan took his wife's hand, then kissed it, "All purely my fault for realizing too late that I love you so much."
"Since when did you notice that?"
Arkan rubbed his own head as if trying to remember those times back. "Ever since you said that our marriage would not last long. Everything felt awkward at that time. I also had a fear that you would live with another man and forget me. But I didn't have the ability to prevent you from agreeing to leave my life immediately."
"You asked us to end it immediately."
"That's because I thought that everything wasn't right from the start and I had to return things to how they were before. I thought that was the most correct, in fact I had already fallen in love with you."
Lunar looked down at her hand that was still being touched. "I wasn't sure my parents would take you for granted. They were very disappointed and thought their daughter was the biggest source of trouble. I couldn't let them down anymore."
"After what I said, do I look like I'm going to let them down?"
"Certainly not. You might love me—"
Lunar was surprised when Arkan suddenly turned her head so their lips met. The man released the kiss slowly without distancing herself, then looked at her intently.
"That is no longer possible. I really love you."
Arkan stared at Lunar's lips again before kissing her, the more burning his desire to crush her. Just as they had intended to make love in the car while surrounded by bodyguards, this time was no different.
Arkan must be wrong if he remembers that incident back. He wanted to say that his feelings had existed since then, but he didn't want to tell the truth, because it would be unfair to Raya who loves him.
Raya has suffered a lot because of his selfishness. He certainly had to think about his childhood friend's feelings, though his feelings were nothing more than that.
Arkan realizes that his love for Lunar is completely different from his feelings for Raya. He can't say that he really loves Raya, because they never had a conflict in their relationship.
It was only since Lunar's presence that everything changed. What kind of love grows without conflict? Perhaps, it is selfishness that wants satisfaction about love.
He is more able to be himself when in a relationship with Lunar. They are in love with a conflict that makes him finally aware of the meaning of a relationship.
"Arkan..."
Arkan let go of the kiss, not realizing he was putting too much pressure on his wife who was already overwhelmed. Lunar was in tears, not because she was tormented, but because she was happy and held her breath.
"Before we do it again, It's better to get out of here." Lunar said with difficulty.
"Lu-lunar, I'm sorry. I was so passionate about our relationship that I didn't realize that everything takes time."
Lunar touched her husband's cheek and said, "You've been enduring it while I was away. Naturally, you can't help yourself. Otherwise, I will doubt your love."
Arkan smiled in the end after being in a nuance of tension. "I have to apologize to your parents as soon as possible so we can live together again. Even though it won't be easy, I will try until they accept me again."
As Arkan said, Lunar's parents were very angry and it was not easy to get their hearts back. Arkan came almost every day to apologize to them. While the news was just a fun spectacle for Damien.
Damien finally realized that his son had grown up, knew the meaning of fighting for love. Basically, love will make someone better. Not forgetting the circumstances around and focus on love that's all. because of that, he prefers Lunar over Raya who can't mold his son into a better person.
Even though Raya had come to him and asked about the mistakes she had made, Damien's heart never wavered to end their relationship. He is indeed being a cruel figure here, but all for the common good.
While Arkan was trying hard to get close to the Lunar family, the first thing that faltered was the mother where she was given enough luxury items, her heart softened to accept Arkan as a son-in-law again.
"Okay, my husband. He comes almost every day, indicating that he really likes our daughter. Let the past go, now we just focus on seeing the future."
"Marriage cannot be based on only love. It must be a commitment in order to survive. Don't let a trivial reason end the marriage."
Arkan bowed his head deeply, then said in a loud voice, "I want to live with Lunar until the end of my life, share it, and give you grandchildren."
"Grandchild?"
Lunar's father was surprised, quite embarrassed to hear that. He had wanted grandchildren for a long time, but he still hasn't achieved it until now, especially Sora who has separated from her husband.
"Oh my! My daughter-in-law is such an embarrassment. Why talk about grandchildren in this situation?" Lunar's mother said.
Arkan raised his head with a confused face. "Am I not supposed to say that?"
"No. You are of course welcome to discuss it. We will come visit you every now and then to make sure our daughter is living happily. You don't mind, do you?"
"Okay, Mom! You can come anytime. We would love to await your presence."
"Oh, my! So, this is how it feels to be called 'mother' by your own daughter-in-law?"
Arkan smiled, finally getting the green light for Lunar's mother. Meanwhile he glanced at Lunar's father who still looked displeased.
"What about Father?"
Lunar's father cleared his throat, not wanting to look at Arkan who had disappointed him. They had been playing chess all night and all he got was disappointment, even though he had trusted Arkan wholeheartedly before.
"I will not forgive you just like that," said the father.
Arkan lowered his head again. "Just punish me until you are completely satisfied. That will be the consequence of my actions. I will deal with it like a man."
Lunar's father nodded his head, indeed a real man should be like that. He didn't want to hand over his daughter to irresponsible people. At least, this punishment can make Arkan realize that giving up a child to someone else is not easy.
"Then, can I and Lunar stay at home from today?" asked Arkan.
Lunar father's heart that had been slightly moved earlier immediately heated up with anger. He glared at Arkan and looked displeased.
"So, that's your purpose?!"
Arkan immediately lowered his head, even to the point that he felt sore once. "No, Father! I will bring Lunar when you agree!"
