She is My Wife
Arkan sat in his chair without taking his eyes off the woman standing in front of him. Seeing like that makes the employee confused about how to act. However, on the other hand everything has become a consequence.
"Mr. Damien gave me the position of manager at Royal Grey, but it would be better if I worked as an ordinary employee."
"Lunar, you don't need to be polite when it's just the two of us in the room. And, there's something between us that needs to be settled."
The eye-catching female employee was Lunar. He never thought that his father would employ Lunar in their company without his knowledge.
Arkan is very emotional and cannot back down to solve the problem immediately. He went over to Lunar who still kept his head down.
"How long have you been working here?"
"One day after I came back."
Arkan was stunned. "The job you said is working in my company?"
"Forgive me."
"No need to apologize. Instead, I'm very grateful for your hard work joining Royal Grey."
Lunar raised her head with an expression of disbelief. Had she heard wrong that Arkan didn't question her working for Royal Gray without her knowledge?
"Get back to work."
Arkan returned to his seat. He had an expression like he didn't care. Meanwhile Lunar backed off respectfully, then exited the room.
Nothing happened between them after that, until a call made Lunar have to return to her boss's room. Shee came a second time, a third time, a fourth time. Arkan doesn't stop keeping her new employee busier. Starting from carrying documents, putting them back in place, to copying documents into several sheets.
Now is Lunar's fifth time riding the elevator. Because she often went up and down the floor, she met several of the same employees. No wonder Arkan doesn't question this job, it turns out that she will be treated complicatedly.
Lunar placed a file that was three inches high on Arkan's desk. Her arms were too tired to carry piles of documents. She had already reached her limit to hold back.
"Does the Royal Gray only have one employee? You don't stop asking me to do things that aren't really mine."
Lunar grabbed some of the stacked papers, then exposed them. "Copying documents? Are you kidding me? I shouldn't have personally come to see you."
"Why not? I have the right to summon any employee to come to my office."
Lunar lifted her chin. "Actually, what do you want from me? We don't have any relationship anymore and I think we can go our separate ways."
"I want us to go home together."
Lunar bit her inner lip, turning around without wanting to serve again. She left Arkan without wanting to accept for them to go home together. For her, no employee goes home with a boss. It will only create a scourge in the company later. She didn't want that to happen.
***
Arkan was waiting in the parking lot at that time. He waited long enough to see Lunar coming. Not to his car, but to another car. It immediately made him get out of the car.
Lunar looked surprised to realize who had come. Shee didn't expect that Arkan was still at the company, even though she had made sure that the previous boss's office was empty before deciding to go home.
"You didn't listen to my request."
The sound of other employees coming down to the basement made Lunar immediately drag them to hide. Don't know what other people would think of them if they were seen together on the basement floor.
Without Lunar noticing, Arkan had not taken his eyes off of her since earlier. Now they also drew closer and touched the thighs sheathed in the short skirt. Gradually the touch reached the back touching the butt and instantly made Lunar gasp.
They weren't that far apart now. Their lips almost touched each other. Lunar's breath seemed to be stuck and she had difficulty moving. Arkan had made her whole body groan at the slightest touch.
"We are in a public place right now." Lunar whispered as if she was pleading.
"What do you care? I own this company," said Arkan in a hoarse voice.
Arkan didn't hold back when he managed to touch the lips that were smeared with pink lipstick. The taste is sweet and the aroma is seductive. He can enjoy how the strawberry flavor mixes with the alluring saliva. The combination made him intoxicated with a spark of desire.
"They'll find out." Lunar said with a muffled scream.
Arkan was forced to pause their kiss for a while, then opened the Lunar car cabin door. They don't sit on the front bench, but on the back bench. There Lunar was made to lie down, then he came following. The cabin door closed quickly.
"I feel this is not right." Lunar tried to get up.
He saw how red her face was now. He wasn't the only one who enjoyed the game it seemed. He grabbed her shirt collar and opened it wide. The buttons were opened one by one first.
"Which part isn't true? I love you? Or we miss each other?"
Lunar finally got up to put up a fight. She pushed her body as well as Arkan's body in different directions. Trying not to go ahead with their wishes.
"Both untrue. We've split."
Arkan did not hesitate to come closer again. "What if I said no?"
"What do you mean?"
Arkan stepped back, then he sat down normally. He leaned back in the chair looking straight ahead. Her mind wanders to the past where they will part ways.
"My father didn't really take care of our farewell papers."
"You're not playing me, are you?"
"Dad likes you and purposely said to take care of everything. That was one of the factors why I couldn't marry Raya, but the main factor is that I love you."
Lunar was surprised to hear all the facts that were so astonishing. Damien paid for all her life abroad. Even she who feels indebted cannot refuse to dedicate herself to the Royal Grey.
"That means we don't split up?" Lunar asked, still in a surprised mood.
Arkan turned his head back. "Yes. You're my wife, and I'm your husband."
"Why didn't you tell me this important matter earlier?"
"Because you need time to think. We've been separated for too long and I don't know how your life is out there. I'm afraid if you already have another life without me. After I tied you in a marriage we didn't want, how can I tie you a second time in the same way? I want you to live with me without feeling tied down," said Arkan.
"I-I'm not married and not close to anyone. And as for marriage, what can be done."
Arkan had been staring straight ahead, turned his head again. He translated what he heard inside his head. Does that mean Lunar accepted it? Does that mean they can already be together?
"Tell me clearly what you mean... I don't understand it."
Lunar instead of holding grudges. She didn't lie that she still had a heart for Arkan. All this time she had rejected that feeling because she thought that her ex-husband had lived a happy life. But what was heard was just the opposite and Arkan returned his love now. How could she e squander the opportunity? She didn't want to lie to her heart, let alone play dogs and cats.
"W-we're still husband and wife. So, what can we do."
Arkan flashed a wide smile on his lips. In fact, he was very satisfied with that answer. "I love you, Lunar. I don't know how many times I have to say it."
Lunar's face turned even redder, then she shyly said, "I—I love you too."
Lunar immediately shifted backwards as her husband approached. "W-what do you want to do? We're in a public place."
Arkan grinned, then said in an evil tone, "What else? Satisfying my wife in public, of course."
