You Not Happy I'm Back?
Sora frowned at his sister, smiling without being funny. Lunar had looked like that since returning home. Previously she was sure Lunar was not in a good mood.
Sora cleared her throat. "You guys did it?"
Lunar widened her eyes, immediately covered her sister's mouth. While their mother stared in bewilderment. How could Sora ask the thing she really wanted to keep secret in front of their parents!
"Do what?" asked the mother.
"That ...."
Sora removed Lunar's hand from her mouth, quickly said, "Lunar and Arkan—"
This time Lunar had run out of patience. She covered Sora's mouth with all her might.
"Arkan?"
Sora tried to speak, but her words were not clear. their mother became even more confused as she tried to receive informational messages from Sora.
"Let your sister go!"
Lunar was forced to let go, in addition she glared at Sora. She couldn't let her mother know about that private thing.
"Anything you guys are hiding?"
Sora twitched her eyebrows, hinting to Lunar that she would reveal their secret.
Lunar ran her fingers under the table, making a 2. Sora shook her head. Lunar made a number 5 then, then Sora nodded her head. They were doing a deal in a pinch, Lunar often did when she didn't want her secret to get out.
"Lunar and Arkan shouldn't be separated, because they are husband and wife. Isn't that right, Mother? I'm very worried about their relationship. If father continues to insist on his stance, don't know if their relationship will stay the same," said Sora.
"What do you mean? Of course it will stay the same, because they love each other. Father just wants to see Arkan's sincerity. If he looks away, it means he is not serious with Lunar."
"Even so, they are two adults. It must be really hard to hold back. I hope they are in good health. You know what I mean, don't you? It's about the intimate relationship between a man and a woman. If you don't let go of that desire, maybe in the future it will be difficult for mothers and fathers to have grandchildren. Health is number one."
Sora strayed from the path of the deal. Lunar didn't expect that her sister would say that. Seems excessive, but it doesn't matter as long as the impact is good for her relationship with Arkan.
They are waiting for their mother's unusual reaction, making them nervous. Lunar's mother even remained silent for so long just to think about Sora's words.
"I didn't think that far. There is a point too, health is the main thing. If Lunar can't provide off spring for Arkan, then it will be difficult to maintain this rich man's bloodline."
"Mother...." Lunar massaged her head, but her mother's response was unexpected. She should have known that her mother only thought about money matters.
"That's right, Mother. At the very least, let them do it for the unbroken bloodline of the rich."
"Mom will talk daddy into this."
The mother walked away, while Lunar and Sora looked at each other. Sora looked delighted as she stretched out her palm, wanting their deal money.
"I'll transfer it," said Lunar.
Not long after, Sora received her payment. She was surprised many times because she saw a large amount of money. It was a far cry from their previous agreement.
Lunar looked at that surprised expression. She smiled too. "Thank you for helping me to persuade mother. But remember, don't waste the money. Sis, you have to save too."
"I understand. You are indeed my dear sister." Sora hummed while looking at the nominal balance.
"Any news about the job vacancies?"
"Not yet. I don't think it will work in life."
"Sister, don't say that. Get a job even harder."
Sora rolled her eyes upwards. "I'm just looking for a rich man to marry. Life isn't that hard, is it?"
"Do you want to make the same mistake again? You've been married before. At least live a normal life. Get a good job and meet a man of your own worth. Don't just stay at home and wait for the call to work. Get outside to get some fresh air and meet new people. Who knows they could become a relation to get to the two things I said earlier."
"All right, all right. You have to be my sponsor then."
"I will if it makes sense. Don't use the money I gave you to buy a lifestyle like last time."
Lunar remembered when she received tuition fees from Arkan's father while abroad. So much that she gave it to Sora to help her sister's life, but when she came back, she found out that Sora was using it unwisely.
"I understand."
Lunar was about to head to the room, but seeing the appearance of her mother immediately stopped her. She was asked to speak to the father, which is scary to imagine why.
It turned out that her father wanted to talk about her household life with Arkan. She who has been betrayed is asked, does she still want their marriage?
"I love Arkan. This time, we really love each other and don't want to live a marriage with lies. Everything you see is the truth, including what I said. The misunderstanding between us has also been cleared up. I don't want to live my life with another man, even if it's Nico."
Lunar's father nodded his head. "Very well. Then, you two can go together. I hope that your choice will not bring any more regrets. What we are doing is for your own good. Before, we forced you to marry Nico, but now we want you to choose your own life responsibly. We don't want you to be like your sister. It was our fault, marrying her off without knowing Sora's true wish. We hope that you will be happy with your choice to live with Arkan."
Lunar smiled brightly, tears in her eyes. She had waited long enough for this decision and now was the day.
"Thank you, Father!"
Without waiting any longer, Lunar packed her things. She made her family confused, because she left right at the time her father allowed her to live with Arkan.
Arkan has been contacted by Lunar, asked to come as soon as possible. He was still confused when he saw Lunar with the suitcase. He wondered, where would Lunar go?
"Arkan!"
"Lunar, why are you carrying a suitcase? Where are you going?"
Lunar rushed to hug Arkan. "We did it!"
"What?"
"Father allowed us to live together!"
"Is it true?"
Knowing Arkan's normal reaction made Lunar immediately separate their embrace. She found a flat expressionless face.
"You are not happy?"
Arkan didn't answer, then looked at Lunar's house. Far away was the Lunar family staring at them as well.
"Arkan? I will live with you and we will live together, live in our marriage forever till death do us part. You're not happy with that?" Lunar asked again.
