HYBRID TIMBER 02
Timber and a group of four other Hybrids were sitting at a table in a bar and restaurant near the domain, they always visited the place when they wanted to go outside the great walls to relax or when they had an encounter with a human female.
On that specific day, Timber was there because the day before he had discovered, thanks to a member of the human task force, a dating app, in which he selected the woman he liked and if she chose him back, they could chat via messages or audios and decide whether to meet in person or not.
The human man, however, advised him not to put his real photo in case he was lured into a trap, so he just put a photo of the animal he had in his DNA, a wolf.
The next day he already had a date, he was anxious, he could be going to meet his future companion and mother of his puppies, it was his greatest desire to find a female who loved him as much as the companions of his hybrid friends did.
He had already come to like and feel attracted to some human female with whom he shared sex, but nothing like what mated males felt and showed for their females.
Timber believed that the other males who found mates were lucky, he envied them because with him it had always been the sex, the reputation they had for being well endowed and loving to pleasure the women they slept with, he also ended up discovering that most females He'd slept with, had commitments to human males, but he'd never felt possessive enough to want to fight over any and his greatest wish was to have that one day.
However, that day, he was optimistic, because his instincts told him he would find his mate. He had recorded all the features of the photo that the female sent him, she was a beautiful human, but deep down he was afraid of rejection, because he hadn't had the courage until then to tell her through the messages that he was a Hybrid.
He had arrived an hour earlier, three of the Hybrids who were with him were mirrored around the bar, he also had some surrounding the area with some perimeters, every time they left through the gates, full security was necessary, even if their presence in that bar was recurrent and that the owner and most people who frequented it were aware of them and did not hate them.
The only one left beside him at the table was Zest, he felt the male staring at him with a judgmental gaze.
“Stop looking at me like that. Timber growled lightly.
“I should have said I was a Hybrid. Zest repeated what he'd been saying all day since Timber announced he had a date.
- No. It's better this way.
"Is it better this way?" All we don't need is a female screaming in fear as soon as she sees you.
"Am I that scary?" Timber scowled.
“We all appear to be, just because we're Hybrids, she should be prepared.
“I'm optimistic, but if she doesn't like me, I'll be fine. The male shrugged.
"Are you that desperate to get a mate?" She can be anti-hybrid, it will hurt you.
“Maybe it hurts. But I'm not desperate. I envy our males who have a mate. Human females are small, soft, affectionate and love to be pampered. She would even complain if I wanted to take her in my arms anywhere, but I would keep her there and she would appreciate it. I will be a good companion. The male's heart burned with the sentiment.
“You have to wait for the right female to arrive for you without having to make appointments with strangers, it's dangerous for you too. Our males didn't go out hunting their humans, it just happened to them.
Timber shook his head in denial.
“Yesterday I saw Tyger with his pup at the medical center, the building was closed and his female was there for an appointment because they're having another baby, he wouldn't let me play with Lucky, he doesn't even want to get close to me, he still resents me. me offering to share sex with Emily.
"I would resent you too if you were my female."
— I understand, I would act the same too. But at the time I didn't know he wanted the female, we all knew his reputation for not wanting commitment. he said sincerely.
"You also have a reputation for upsetting mated males, beware, one of our own might want revenge on you."
“I just want what Runner, Slade, Brawn, Tyger, Hook and everyone else has.
"I'm sure in time you will." Zest put a hand on his friend's shoulder and squeezed, then looked behind him. "There's a woman coming in." the male cat whispered.
Timber glanced toward the door and his heart skipped a beat as the human female walked through. She was small and had curves that appeared to be soft inside the skirt and blouse she wore. She looked up to meet the face that took her breath away a little.
She looked young and very pretty, her lips full and her features very delicate. Her hair fell over her shoulders, it was a dark brown and looked soft in its length.
In that instant she looked up and caught his gaze, Timber then could gaze into magnificent almond eyes, but there was a huge glow of emptiness and sadness there, something stirred inside him, she looked nothing like the photo he received, the one of the The picture was beautiful, but that one was perfect in her eyes.
He thought she might have changed her look, he was going to rise to greet her, when the pretty female hurried away to a table in the far corner of the bar and then another came through the doors.
Timber's eyes widened, shocked that the second one who entered was identical to the one in the photo, had blonde hair down to her jaw, was a little tall and had a slim body, her eyes were blue, and her nose and lips were thin. He looked back to where the dark haired female had gone and she was sitting in the corner, ordering something from the waiter, looking agitated and upset.
He felt shocked that his body immediately wanted to know why she was like this and who had left her in this state.
After looking forward to his date all day, he expected to feel at least one percent of the feeling for the female in the photo that he felt for the first one who walked in, but nothing came, not even a racing heart.
"It's her, the one in the photo." He cleared his throat, talking to Zest.
- Good. Good luck. The male patted him on the back and walked away.
He watched the blonde move her cell phone and her device vibrated in her pocket, he quickly took it, receiving a message from her.
"I'm here. Are you going to be long?"
Timber didn't want to answer, wanted to cancel everything and just sit with the brown-eyed female at the back of the bar and understand why the sadness he saw in her eyes, wanted to know who put her in that state, but he wasn't a bastard and he should have his meeting with the human with whom he had agreed.
"I see you. I'm at the bar. Dressed in black." typed.
The woman looked in his direction and started walking towards him, he was suddenly tense, afraid that Zest's worries were real.
- Which?! Are you one of those Hybrids?! the woman exclaimed with a look of shock.
Timber couldn't miss the sneer in her voice either.
- Hello. he said, trying to smile without showing his sharp teeth.
- Hello? Hello? the woman screamed.
“No need to shout, we're close. Timber grunted lightly.
“You tricked me! Disgusting! I can't believe I masturbated talking to a damn animal. She spun on her heel. "Delete my number." — he demanded — I shaved and got ready for nothing. He walked away muttering.
Timber was in shock, gulped feeling humiliated, clenched his fists and wanted to break everything around him. Zest was right. It just didn't hurt anymore because he felt no attraction to the female, didn't plan to invest in her anyway, not when his attention was focused on the corner of the bar. In the small female with almond eyes.
“I'm not going to tell you I told you so. Zest came closer again.
"You already are." Timber snarled.
“Delete that damn app. You will find the right female at the right time.
- I'll do it. He picked up the phone and did as Zest said, deleted the blonde woman's number as well as blocked it.
- Let's eat something. his friend said.
The other males also came over and pulled Timber to a table and ordered the biggest snacks the bar had available on the menu and soft drinks.
"Don't feel sorry for me!" We've been through worse and we've heard far worse as well. Timber smiled.
— I can tell you some phrases that I've heard from some human females out there... — Brute commented smiling — And then you'll understand why I don't like them very much.
The males began to talk, each one recounting embarrassing situations they have experienced with females in their lives after they were released. Timber was a little distracted, but nothing could take his attention away from the sad, isolated female across the bar.
