HYBRID TIMBER 26
Timber slowly withdrew from Eva, got out of bed and gently picked her up in his arms, walking with her towards the bedroom's bathroom.
- You're tired. he stated as he placed her on her feet on the shower floor.
- Yea. I have good reasons for that. She broke into a wide smile.
Timber analyzed every feature looking for pain or discomfort but found none, just a beautiful smile and a gleam in the almond-shaped eyes looking back at him that made him almost take his breath away.
Guilt gnawed at him for sharing sex with her again without revealing that it could make her pregnant. He was afraid that when she found out, she wouldn't want him anymore and she certainly wouldn't be smiling at him so completely, the way she always wanted to. However, there was a possibility that she was already carrying her baby in her womb, even though she had sniffed it several times and didn't feel any different smell that would indicate this.
His gaze went to the reddish mark on the smooth skin of her shoulder and concern welled up in him.
“I bit you. I'm sorry I lost control and wanted to mark you as mine, you might not understand that being human but...
Eva hated seeing the guilt in the canine eyes she loved so much.
— It didn't break the skin or bleed, I liked the feeling. She tried to reassure him, stroking his muscular chest.
- He is sure? He searched her eyes for the truth and saw it there.
- Yes I swear.
- Good. I...
At that moment Eva's thoughts went to Susan and she suddenly started to cry.
- Oh my God! Did your friend manage to get Susan out of the church? Is she okay? She grabbed his arms, lifting her face to look at him.
“I'm sure she did and that she's fine. Brute came in right away to get her, I trust he saw to it that she was okay and we sent help too. Timber stroked her cheek in a soothing gesture.
“I will believe you. — she buried her face in his chest and her body was embraced by strong arms — Otherwise, I would never forgive myself. She was there for me.
- Look at me. Timber asked and she looked up, her face completely wet with tears. “I'm sure Brute managed to get her. Let's take a shower and then call him. Stay calm and don't cry. I hate seeing her like this, I feel the need to heal all her afflictions. She nodded, her heart warmed by his words.
The two took a shower exchanging caresses and after a few minutes, they left the bathroom. Timber wrapped his towel around his waist, went to a dresser and pulled out a clean towel, unwrapped it and draped it over Eva's body.
“I don't have any clothes. - she said smiling - Not even panties and bra, you ripped what I was wearing.
“Any time a damn fabric is keeping me from touching you, I'm going to rip it to shreds. the male growled.
Eva looked into his eyes and he was really serious.
'Then I'd better go with nothing underneath, unless I want to spend a fortune on panties and bras a month.' he joked.
“When you buy more, only use them from the door out of this apartment. he demanded.
- As you wish. She winked at him.
Timber felt the possessiveness for her burn even deeper in his chest. He very much appreciated that she wasn't struggling and arguing and disagreeing.
He helped her dry off, fighting the urge to bury his face between her thighs and pleasure her with his mouth again. There would be plenty of time later, right now he should call Brute and find out if his friend was okay, his female was worried about that and he didn't want anything to distress his beautiful human.
When he finished drying her off, he grabbed a clean shirt and she pulled it on, it covered half her thighs and the view was just perfect for him.
"Do you have a hairbrush?" - she asked.
“It's over the bathroom sink. — he was already going to get it for her, but she went ahead and went into the bathroom.
"I can get the brush." - she smiled.
“I just like doing things for you.
— And I will, but I don't want you to get sick of it and end up thinking that I take advantage of you, that I'm a slacker and stuff like that.
“That will never happen. I will live to protect and care for you in everything you need.
Eva was bewildered by the intensity of the feelings that possessed her, she knew that she loved Timber and never wanted to leave his side and that if by chance things didn't work out between them, she was aware that she would never be interested in anyone again, because no one , could never get over it.
She swallowed hard not knowing what to say and started combing her hair after pulling out the hairpins that Dan had put in to do the hairstyle while she looked adoringly at Timber drying his own body and then putting on some sweatpants. He had the best body she had ever seen.
Timber grabbed his cell phone off the dresser and dialed Brute, only two rings his friend answered.
"Are you finished missing your female yet?" then he heard his friend's irritated voice.
"Is that Timber? Eva? I want to talk to my friend." he also heard Susan's voice in the background.
"Did you guys make it out of there? Is everything okay?" Timber asked.
“I want to talk to Susan. Eva said eagerly.
"Open the damn door to her apartment, I have her here in my dorm and she is extremely annoying." Brute grunted and hung up.
“They're right next door, Brute is bringing her friend. he said putting the phone back on top of the dresser.
- Thank God! Eva exclaimed with tears of relief filling her eyes.
Timber held his hand and they walked to the living room, opened the door and began to hear the voice of Brute and Susan mixed in an argument, seconds later the two appeared in his field of vision.
“You are rude! Eva heard Susan call out to Brute before their eyes met.
- Friend. Eva whimpered as they rushed to hug each other.
Brute walked in and Timber closed the door.
“I needed to see for myself if I was okay. Susan whispered.
- I'm fine and you? Did you hurt yourself? Eva looked around at her friend.
- No. I thought I was going to be in trouble but that brute came to get me out of there. Susan looked at Brute.
“Actually, when I got there, there was a human male with his hands around her neck, he was near fainting, and she refused to come into the medical center when we got here. Brute said.
"You had no right to throw me on your shoulders and take me against my will!" I said I was fine. She looked irritated.
“I still think you should go see a doctor, your neck has handprints from that son of a bitch. Brute growled.
“I hate hospitals and unless I'm dying I'll never go into one.
—Susan! We've already talked about taking care of health, let me see. — Eva moved her gaze to her friend's neck — My God, it's purple!
- Is nothing. The young woman swept her hair over her shoulders to cover it up.
“It could have been injured internally as well. Eva tried to brush Susan's hair to see again, but the girl pulled away.
— I'm fine, do you really think that if I had hurt inside I'd be standing here, super well, talking for the elbows?
"Why don't you tell your friend how you couldn't even swallow the food I brought you?" Brute said.
— I wasn't hungry, I was anxious and when I'm like that I can't eat anything, Eva knows that. - Susan said defensively - He even had the audacity to say that I needed to feed because I looked like a stick!
- I did not say that. I just said that I've already picked up tree trunks heavier than you.
“It makes no difference.
“Oh, okay. Everything is fine. Stop fighting. Girl, you need to go to the doctor. Have you been unable to swallow because of anxiety or because your throat is sore? Please be honest.
“Anxiety, I swear. Please don't make me go to a doctor if I'm not dying or passed out. Susan felt her eyes sting with trapped tears that wanted to flow.
"Why didn't you take her anyway?" You should check out that injury. Timber asked.
— She made a fuss at the door before we went in, she looked at me the same way, I hate to see females crying near me and I recognize a trauma when I see one, I didn't want to insist more, however I thought the friend could put some sense in in that hard little head.
— Susan...
“I'm fine, I promise. Order something to eat then, you'll see how I'll manage to get it all down now that I know Eva is all right.
- I'll do it. — Brute took out his cell phone and typed something — About thirty minutes to arrive.
- Excellent. - Eva said and pulled Susan to the couch - How were things?
Timber and Brute joined them on the front sofa and Susan told them everything that happened after she started playing the audio and transmitting the photos.
“Stone told me I'm being charged with terrorism and kidnapping. Timber commented.
- Which? Well, I wouldn't mind if a terrorist dropped a bomb and killed all those idiots. Susan said.
- I agree. But unfortunately it is a serious indictment of our reputation.
- What the hell. And now?
“We'll see what to do. We always find a way. Not that I need to go after everyone who is accusing us to force them to tell the truth. Timber growled.
Silence permeated the room for a few seconds, until Timber's cell phone rang in the room. He got up and went there to answer, it was the council and they were calling him for a meeting, Brute, Harder and Smoke should be there too.
“They're calling us from the council building. — he appeared in the room informing — I'll ask them to send two males to guard the door while I'm gone.
Eva got up and went to him.
- It's gonna be okay? Are you coming back soon?
“Maybe they'll punish me in some way, but there's never anything they can do to keep me away from you. I will be back soon. He hugged her and kissed the top of her head.
- Please. Come back soon. And put on a shirt, I don't want him walking around showing off that body.
- As you wish. He winked at her as he went into the bedroom to grab a shirt.
