HYBRID TIMBER 34
The next day, they gathered in HybridFalls' conference room. Timber positioned Eva in a chair next to his and grabbed her hand in a firm but gentle grip. He looked into her eyes and with an expression full of concern, asked:
"Are you sure you want to face them?" I don't want her to be sad or to make her cry.
- Yes, I'm sure. she said firmly.
“Anytime you want to leave, I'll get you out of here, just ask me. he assured.
“I'll be fine, don't worry so much Timber…” he spoke softly. “I'm stronger than you think.
“How can I not worry? You are my life, Eva. I will always worry about you. — his tone was harder than he wanted — I know you're strong, but I want to protect you.
Eva's heart squeezed.
- I know. I'm so sorry my love. Sorry for being annoying. Thanks for worrying. I love you. - She pulled his hand holding hers and kissed it, he immediately returned the kiss on her hand.
- Do not apologize. I'm afraid of becoming aggressive, hitting the human male and horrifying her about it. I never want you to be afraid of me. But I would kill for you. The storm Eva saw in his expression made the breath escape her lungs.
It was magnificent to be loved by Timber in that intensity.
— I'm not going to be scared of you, I know you'd never hurt me... — she caressed his arm and smiled — I would love it if you did actually, as long as it doesn't harm you, I don't want you to be pushed away me, even I wanted to give Bruce and his parents a good slap in the face.
- Would you like that? he asked in amusement.
Her answer was cut off by the sound of footsteps entering the conference room. The sight of Bruce Turner when he arrived startled Timber, the male was pathetic, not very tall and pale. Ruthie and Teddy also entered. Apparently the pastor's wife, Ruby, didn't want to go with him.
Brute pushed the man into a chair and three more Hybrids joined them in the room, Runner, Stone, Zest and Brenner Smith.
“I have a lawyer. - Bruce said - Don't throw me like that anyway! Brute squeezed the human's shoulders making him scream in pain.
- Coward. the male growled as he pulled away, enjoying causing him pain.
- That will not remain like this! My lawyers—” Teddy Turner started to speak, but Timber cut him off.
“Wow, how scared we are. Beware Runner, we're in danger now that we've been threatened by him. Timber laughed.
"You... You..." Ruthie, Eva's mother started to want to hurl an insult, but Eva slammed the table in front of the woman.
- Your what? Eva practically snarled and her mother paled.
All the hybrid males present were astonished.
— Eva, daughter… — the woman breathed, changing her voice to a false soft — Can I speak with you alone?
- Why? Do you want to try to manipulate me like you've done these last few months? Will not make it. Eva denied firmly in her tone.
- Let's start. Stone said.
“It won't be long. — Runner completed — You are being accused and prosecuted for slander and defamation against OOH , you are found guilty and we stipulate an amount of money that must be paid to charities directed by us.
Brenner handed the three culprits a piece of paper and their eyes widened as they read it.
— This is absurd, I will not pay that amount to damn animals! Teddy yelled.
"Animals are you!" Damn liars! Eva fumed, getting to her feet and Timber immediately flung an arm in front of her.
“It's no offense to me to be called an animal. — Zest murmured with a shrug — And for you? He addressed the other Hybrids present.
- None. Stone commented.
“I share the same sentiment. Runner crossed his arms.
- Daughter, you can't let them do this to me. You know I don't have any money. Ruthie whimpered.
"Stop trying to hold me responsible for you!" I won't feel guilty. You deserve this and much more. - Eva said, returning to sit, Timber also sat down.
“How dare you betray your race, you damned whore! - Bruce exclaimed to Eva and Timber couldn't help himself.
He leapt across the table and grabbed the man out of his chair, then slammed his back into the wall, once and twice, drawing screams of panic from his throat. Bruce grunted but didn't try to fight back.
“Offend my mate again and that will be the last time your damn tongue is of any damn use. the male snarled angrily.
— Let me go. - Bruce asked with fear.
Timber ignored him and lifted Bruce a few more inches. The human male was terrified and ended up passing out, Timber dropped him carelessly on the ground.
— Timber. — Eva went to him and touched his face — It's okay ... — she hugged him, wanting to let him know that she wasn't scared and wasn't even upset by his attitude.
“I don't finish him off because it would be like hurting a helpless child. he murmured.
“Please be seated. Runner said, and Eva and Timber sat back down, holding hands.
“Let me give you the final verdict. We don't give a shit about your court so no use threatening us with your ridiculous laws and considering calling a lawyer won't do any good. You have already been tried and are found guilty. Bruce Turner and Ruthie, are released with the notice and deadline stipulated for payment of the proceeds money, if they do not pay they will be arrested. You, Teddy Turner Mason, are under arrest for being an accomplice of a hate group that tortured innocent young people for just suspecting they were getting involved with a Hybrid or that they were OOH supporters, and especially Vivian Bennett, Zest's companion.
Zest grunted lightly in her chair and Teddy got to his feet.
- Which? No! This is a big lie! I didn't know they tortured girls! Teddy exclaimed in despair.
“We have proof. You are one of the culprits for being an accomplice and participating in some sessions of their cursed cults. You will have more information soon. - Runner turned to Zest and Brenner Smith - escort him to his final destination.
Zest was up in the blink of an eye and was with Brenner Smith ushering the struggling, screaming man out of the room.
- Daughter! Little daughter... You need to help mommy. Ruthie cried with tears in her eyes.
Eva felt her chest ache, after all she was her mother, but the thought of what she had done, of what she would be able to let go of just to continue being a married man's lover, made her sick. She was confused but knew that Ruthie deserved the sentence which wasn't that severe unless she didn't pay the amount, which Eva knew she could only do if she stole, not even a loan would work, no bank would lend such a large amount. But he washed his hands, he wasn't to blame for any of that.
At that moment Bruce woke up from his fainting spell and as soon as he was on his feet, Eva walked over to him and punched him in the nose twice.
- You crazy! the man screamed in pain, clutching his bleeding nose.
Eva shook her hand, which also hurt but was no worse than where she hit it. Timber who was always close to her, shocked by the attitude of his female so docile, grabbed her hand and massaged the little bones trying to relieve her pain.
“Brute, lead them out of HybridFalls. Runner said and Brute nodded.
- Take me out of here. - Eva asked Timber and he didn't hesitate to take her in his arms and head out of the room.
"Eve!" - Ruthie screamed, but the young woman ignored her mother's screams.
“We're going to stop by the medical center to see if you've hurt your hand. Timber spoke on the way out.
— No need, the biggest damage was on that idiot's nose. She smiled with her head on his chest.
"I'll be more relieved if you're sure it didn't hurt." Give me that. he insisted.
“And I'll be happy if you take my word for it when I say it's okay. Trust me. Give me that. - She returned and he took a deep breath, surrendered.
“I trust you and I'll do whatever you want. he growled.
"So, please take me to choose our future home?" - he requested.
“I was thinking of taking you to our apartment first, burying my head between your thighs to calm my nerves, and then taking you house picking. His voice was husky and made her instantly aroused.
— Hmm... I confess that I like your plan better. She bit his chest through his shirt and the male growled getting hard.
Timber quickened his pace and never before had he arrived at his apartment so quickly.
