HYBRID TIMBER 35
Eva was ready to go visit some houses with Timber. It was around eleven in the morning and her partner was taking a shower while she prepared some sandwiches in the kitchen. Susan was sleeping a little in the guest room and Eva didn't want to wake her up to tell her the news because she knew Susan took so long to sleep because she was so anxious.
The doorbell to the apartment rang and she dried her hands quickly before rushing over. He looked through the peephole and saw Brute standing on the other side, walked away and opened the door.
“Hello, Brute. In between. she said with a smile, giving way to him.
- Hello. I'd like to speak with Timber. Brute said as he walked in and Eva closed the door behind him.
— He's in the shower but he should be finishing up, sit down for a while. He gestured to the couch.
"I'll be back another day." Brute grumbled and started toward the door.
Eva knew he and Timber were still at odds, and if Brute was looking for his friend, that was a good thing, he wanted so much for his mate to make it up to him.
"Want a sandwich?" It's bacon and cheese chicken, Timber loves it, I just made some. he offered and watched the male cat's nose twitch.
His stomach rumbled and then he couldn't resist.
- I'll accept. I'm hungry. He nodded and she smiled, glad he'd accepted.
"I'll get it, just a moment." Sit down.
Eva went to the kitchen and put two sandwiches on a plate, then filled a glass with orange juice and took it to him in the living room. She tried not to stare at him too much, but something was bothering her and she decided to ask, but before she opened her mouth, Brute spoke first.
"You can ask or say whatever you want." His voice was husky as he took a bite of his sandwich.
She blushed a little but cleared her throat and was frank.
“Why exactly did you and Timber fight?” She sat down on the couch opposite the one he was on.
“I've said nasty things about human mates. he growled.
"Specifically from me?" he asked.
- Yea. Brute looked sheepish at the time.
- I apologize. - Eva said, taking him by surprise - I didn't want him to fight with his best friend because of me. It was never my intention. I'm very sorry. — and she really did feel guilty.
“We didn't get into a physical fight, but it would have been justified if he'd hit me. I spoke ill of a human mate, he took it as an insult to his mate. the male explained.
“Oh. - Eva murmured - You were upset, right? A lot of things were happening.
“He would hurt anyone for you, even your best friend. Brute still resented it a little. I didn't understand the strong feeling of a mate bond.
“I never want that, Brute. I don't want him to pull away from people he knew before me, get aggressive towards them or anything because of me.
“I learned from my friends that when mating with a human female, they will always resort to violence if they believe there is any danger to their mates. He almost lost you and I'm sure deep down he worries that you might leave him again. You became his air, I saw how he was when you rejected him before and I felt angry with you, I confess and seeing him desperate for revenge even though he already had you back, made me impatient.
— I didn't leave him because I wanted to, do you already know the whole truth? I love Timber, he's everything to me. I've wanted to be with him forever since the first night we were together. Eva felt like crying, but fought back the tears.
- Now I know. He needs the reassurance of knowing that you're okay, breathing, and that you love him. He got depressed and I hated seeing him that way. I said rude things to him because I was acting unreasonably, but I want you to be happy. Brute was sincere.
— I intend to show all my love and passion for him every day of my life. Timber is the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me. he declared.
“Good for him. Never leave him. He would die. — the male finished eating the last sandwich.
“I'll never leave you, never. he swore.
“Brute? Timber appeared in the room and Eva got up to go to him.
“Brute came to see you and I was talking to him while you finished your shower. he informed.
- Did something happen? Timber questioned worriedly.
- Anything. I just wanted to talk to you. - He shook his head.
— I'm going out with my partner now, I can stop by your apartment when I get back. He hugged her as he spoke.
- It would be good. If you want to train a little before your shift. suggested Brute.
"I really need to give you a good punch." — he turned Eva in front of him and pointed to his own body — I wore the clothes you chose.
She would never tire of admiring his beauty. I found him extremely handsome and attractive, the muscular, hot and luscious body was a sight that could spend days, weeks, just staring. She thought she was the luckiest woman to have him.
"You look really sexy in all black." she whispered in his ear.
Timber growled low and wrapped his arm around her waist, lowering his head to nuzzle her neck.
Brute cleared his throat.
“I'll meet you later at the training center. said the cat, drawing their attention.
- I'll see you there. Timber growled.
They thought he would leave soon, but Brute looked hesitant for a few seconds in the doorway and then his nose twitched.
"That feisty female, is she there?" - He asked.
“Susan? She is sleeping. Do you want to talk to her? I can call you. Eva quickly responded.
- No! he exclaimed. No — he vehemently denied — I'm coming. Brute was out the door so fast, Timber and Eva were stunned.
“Something's going on between them. Eve commented.
- You think? Timber doubted it.
“Yes, I know you do.
— The Brute would never get involved with a human female, he is against taking mates and even more human, he finds them fragile and vulnerable, he also doesn't like how deep our bond is to the point that we can't live without our females.
“I just know he doesn't feel contempt for her at all.
“I look forward to the day when this male will fall to his knees over a woman. Just like I fell for you.
- Oh yes? She smirked. Are you on your knees for me?
“Yes, I'm on my knees before you. He started kissing her neck and lowered himself until he was kneeling in front of her.
“And I'm going to spend the rest of my life trying to deserve you. Eve promised.
- You deserve. he snarled. "Never doubt this, promise me."
Her eyes filled with tears.
- I promise. He shook his head. "I love you very much." Do you know what is a lot?
“I have an idea, because I love you so much more than that much. He caressed her hand that was stroking his hair.
- No. I love you more. Do you know how big the sky is? She smiled in amusement.
— It is infinite and has no end, it is very big. Timber grinned broadly, playing along with her.
“So that's how much I love you, my little wolf. she whispered.
- Thanks. Timber closed his eyes.
- Whereby? she questioned.
- For loving me. For being you, for being mine. He hugged her waist.
"I'm the one to thank." You are perfect, amazing and...
“Let's not start a competition. he growled softly.
“I don't need a competition. I will always win. She shrugged smugly.
“I will always let you win. He also shrugged and she patted his head lightly.
Timber got up from the floor and took her lips, kissing her deeply until they were breathless, when they pulled away, Eva went to the kitchen, got the sandwiches and brought them to eat in the living room.
— Let's eat and leave, I'm anxious to choose everything. Will your mission with the task force last long? In the meantime we can go shopping for things. She took a bite of bread.
'I don't think it will be long and we'll be together when I'm not away so I won't be so worried.' He ate the entire sandwich in almost one bite.
Eva smiled as they talked and ate, she loved his animalistic manner and nothing he did would scandalize or shock her. On the contrary, I thought it was cute and unique that he was like that and I would never wish he were different.
An hour later, Eva couldn't hold back tears of emotion as they entered the second house on the street where mated Hybrids and higher-ranking members of the OOH were housed. It was yellow, had a veranda surrounding the entire residence, colonial roofs and two floors. A warm feeling filled her chest and she didn't know why she wanted to cry so badly. But when he looked, he knew that was the house they were going to live in.
“That's it. I want this. she said, wiping away her tears.
Timber growled and pulled her into his arms. Eva immediately noticed the concern in his eyes and hurried to clarify.
“I'm thrilled. A good feeling, that's why I'm crying. He smiled and he took her in his arms, expressions softening.
- Good. Let's see inside. He kissed the top of her head as they entered the house.
"Are you always going to carry me up and down?" she asked, loved that he did that, liked feeling small and light in his arms even when she knew she wasn't.
- You do not like it? — he gave a slight smile indicating that even if she didn't like it, she wouldn't stop doing it.
- No. I love.
