HYBRID TYGER 24
tyger
I look closely at the movement on the screen in front of me and there is nothing new, the same old protesters and women looking for hybrid mates, there is no danger in sight. My phone rings pulling my attention away from the security cameras monitoring the domain gates.
“It's Tyger.
“Are you with Emily?” Did you pick her up at the bar? I hear Creek's voice utterly desperate.
My heart races and my stomach clenches as a bad feeling creeps through me.
“She's not with me, she was with you. Where is she, Creek? I'm not in the mood for jokes.
"I'm not kidding, dammit!" We had lunch and then I left her waiting for me while I went to get the jeep to go back to the apartment and when I came back I didn't see her anymore, nor the trace of her scent. She's gone.
Totally out of my mind and a roar shooting from my throat, I hang up the phone and run as fast as I can to a jeep and drive to the bar. When I arrive, Creek is joined by a few hybrids and humans working on the construction of the gate extension.
- How did this happen? - I go down already questioning, not containing my distressed tone of voice.
“I already spoke on the phone. We had lunch at the bar, she ended up drinking a lot of wine and was dizzy, so I asked her to wait while I got the jeep to go back to the apartment! the female explains nervously.
“I just counted the human workers and I'm two short. — Timber appears, informing — I've already asked them to identify the human workers and find out which ones are missing. We'll find her.
"Behind that car you can smell blood, I can't tell if it's hers because I haven't had contact, could any of you?" - Tree approaches.
I growl angrily and run to the car, turn around and look in shock at three tiny drops of blood, smell and immediately realize that yes, it is Emily's blood. Another roar comes from my throat.
- As? - shout - How? This should be a safe place! Cum! — I punch the side of the car, crushing it.
“They're probably humans with clean records but working for someone who hates us, we're not guilty. Timber sounds angry.
“Shouldn't there be some official watching the fucking humans who work here?! — my state of nerves is impossible to control at the moment — Fuck it, I'm going after her.
I start to run into the woods but Creek intercepts me.
“We've already asked for help from the human police, and Timber's already asked them to gather a group of good hunters to go after her. They know that perfume interferes with our sense of smell and they did this the whole way, I tried to go a few meters into the forest.
“You stay and wait, I won't wait. My Emily is in danger, she needs me. — I try to break free.
“We're stronger as a group, we can surround the forest, a canine can track scent better, and a primate can climb trees. - Tree says.
“I don't fucking care. I'm going after my female and I'm going to finish off the wretched human who dared to touch her!
- I'll go with you! — Timber pulls up beside me — I care about Emily. — Grunt wanting to advance on the male — But I already know she's hers. Relax.
“Bring her back. - Creek asks with sadness in her eyes.
I nod and head into the woods followed by Timber who runs to catch up with me.
— He used the perfume to confuse us but he forgot or didn't know that when the wind blows against the smell it's no use.
"Did you catch anything?" I ask.
"Very weak, but I have it."
"Then I'll go this way, her scent is better known to me."
We switch sides and start running, my anger making me go beyond my speed faster. I'm going to get the human who took her and he'll regret the damn time he decided to touch my female.
