HYBRID HOOK 13
Hook couldn't sleep a wink. He was worried about the events around him and he resented what happened to Abbie and he feared another surprise attack, he needed to be aware.
His ears managed to capture a new noise, this time his calculations matched the time HybridFalls would probably arrive. He looked at Abbie, not wanting to wake her when she looked so peaceful in sleep, but he had to.
She rocked her small body slightly and soon she opened her eyes, she had always been a light sleeper.
“Rescue is coming. he said softly.
He watched her eyes glisten with unshed tears.
"Are you in pain?" he asked, slightly concerned.
- No. Never heard of crying with relief? She rose from his chest immediately, feeling the chill on her skin.
- No.
— But there are several types of crying, joy, sadness, relief, anger and so on.
“You're freezing. he said noticing that her skin had gone cold.
“I wasn't until just now when we were stuck together.
— We have to go outside but I'm going to hug your body so I don't catch a cold in the early morning dew.
“I'm grateful for all your care for me. — she smiled at him — But I don't know if you do that because you care about my well-being or if it's because, as you said, that I'm human and weak.
He grunted in response not wanting to make it clear that it was both options, but he didn't necessarily think she was weak but rather sensitive and fragile.
Abbie got up from the floor and took a few steps to put on her sandals that she had taken off, she couldn't remember when. Hook noticed the way she moved and frowned.
— Are you sore? - He asked.
- Everything is fine. She gave a small smile ignoring her aching sex.
He rose to his full height and pulled her hand to his side, wrapped one arm under her thigh and the other around her waist, lifting her onto his lap.
- Do not complain. he warned.
“I'm quiet. She bit back a smile.
She took advantage and rested her head in the crook of his neck. She felt safe with him, warm and cared for. The masculine scent brought memories to her mind, she had lost her virginity to him. It was amazing.
Not in a thousand years would I have guessed that my first time would be in an abandoned cabin with a Hybrid . Avoid smiling. It was wonderful.
She just wanted Hook to hold her and not let go. He knew that the time was coming to say goodbye and that what had happened in the hut would die there, as he himself had said. But I wasn't ready. She became attached to him. I was falling in love.
He would pretend nothing happened, but she wouldn't, because it meant too much, though she would never let him know because she had agreed to his terms before they had sex.
Hook came out of the hut with the female in his arms, the helicopter was approaching and in minutes landed. A minute later two Hybrid men descended.
Abbie lifted her head a little to see them, they looked worried but relieved. One of them ran in their direction and smiled at Hook in great surprise.
- You look great. one of them said, looking pleased.
He was a male of Hook's height and virtually the same build, only his hair was shorter and lighter and his face features different, the design of his eyes reminiscent of a mountain wolf. Extremely beautiful. She soon realized that her DNA must be canine.
“And we're surprised. the other said. This one had catlike eyes like Hook's but the look was like a tiger, he had short hair and he was very handsome too.
All the hybrid males were very handsome.
- Are you okay? the canine male asked Hook.
- I am. Thanks for coming. Is there a blanket in the helicopter? Hook asked.
- Yea. Come on. one of the males said and Hook began to walk quickly.
"We didn't know you were accompanied." the cat said. Abbie knew full well he meant "even more of a human" but didn't say it.
“I'll tell you everything in the report. he snapped.
“He's in a bad mood as usual.
- I'm not. It's great to see you. He smiled slightly.
The reason for his tension was another. He knew the males could smell him all over Abbie's body and what they shared. Then she would have to endure mockery for being human and everything she said against them and the promise she had made never to sleep with one would be thrown in her face.
“Hello, female. I'm Blade. Abbie watched the hybrid male give her a sympathetic smile.
- Hey. — She smiled back — Nice to meet you, I'm Abbie. she felt Hook growl low.
“And I'm Tyger, our pilot is Flame.
- Hello! Flame shouted from the pilot's seat.
- Nice to meet you all. He smiled.
Blade fetched a blanket from inside the helicopter and threw it to Hook, he took it, lowered Abbie from his lap and covered her body.
- We can go? Tyger asked.
"There are some boxes in that cabin, I don't know if those things will do but I think they should have a look." He looked at Blade. You know more about these gun things, you'll know if they still work or not.
Blade nodded and walked toward the cabin.
"Aren't you supposed to be with your female?" Hook asked looking at Tyger.
“That's where I wanted to be, but since she found out what happened to you and about your call for ransom, she insisted I come because she's my friend. I can't say no to her.
“Hook said she's human, he'd like to meet her. Abbie said.
“I'm sure my Emily will love it.
“Let's help Blade know whether or not we should take those things. Hook said and looked at Abbie. "Stay here."
"And where else would I go?" She forced a smile.
He grunted and walked off with his friend, as soon as he entered the hut Blade looked at them.
- What happened here?
“They were from Medicinne . They were looking for me after they found out I killed their teammates and ran away, they were attacking Abbie and I killed them.
“I'm very curious about you and this female. Blade laughed.
“Don't start, she helped me. That's it.
- Good. She is very beautiful.
“This could be your chance, Blade. You worship human females. Tyger urged.
“Fuck off. Stop! Hook's voice was grim.
Hook's ears picked up Abbie's laughter coming from outside, he looked through the door and Flame had gotten out of the helicopter and was standing next to her talking and smiling. He felt anger and an almost uncontrollable urge to roar and punch the male, but he held back. He wasn't going to give his friends any more reason to make fun of him.
- And then? Should we take it to enjoy it or not? He cleared his throat.
“I think it will be of good use.
"Let's get it then."
Each took two boxes and walked quickly back to the helicopter. Abbie caught Hook's cold gaze toward her and swallowed hard, confusion filled her that he had looked at her like that, she hadn't done anything wrong.
- We can go. - he said.
“I can't believe we're safe. she said softly with immense relief.
- My bag. she recalled. "I almost forgot."
“I'll get it,” Hook said, and hurried to the hut.
Tyger climbed up in front of the helicopter and Blade on the other side in the back. Flame looked at Abbie.
"Come on, I'll help you up." said the fiery red-haired male.
He hurried over, wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her off her feet. A roar resounded, loud and angry, and Abbie looked away to see Hook emerging from the hut with his bag in his hands.
He almost ran to them, ripped Abbie from the other male's arms and snarled at him baring fangs.
- Stay calm. - Flame said raising her hands.
- What was this? Why are you acting like this? Abbie looked at him with a frown.
Anger flashed in his eyes.
“Don't touch her. he said, then snarled at Abbie.
- Hey! Don't growl at me! she demanded.
Tyger and Blade looked at each other inside the helicopter and smiled at each other, they knew very well what was happening to their friend.
"Let's go guys!" Blade yelled.
Flame just walked over to the pilot's chair and Hook climbed in with the female in his lap. With everyone inside and wearing seat belts and headphones, they took off.
Abbie was confused about Hook's reaction, she shifted on his lap to leave, but he held her hips. He swore he heard a low growl.
"I want to sit on the seat." she said, upset that he'd been snarling at her like she'd done something wrong.
“Be quiet here. he ordered.
- Why?
“I have to keep tabs on you.
— Why and for what? She was already impatient.
“Maybe I hurt you and sitting somewhere more comfortable is better. he said softly close to her ear.
She understood. It really was sore. He took a long breath.
"Stop it or I'll think you care about me, huh." she asked and yawned.
She was so tired that she ended up dozing off in his arms.
