Chapter 90 - The Pleasure
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV
For the entire night yesterday, I wasn't able to sleep, not even for a minute or two. We had to rest at the same place where Siege killed the Silver Moon Pack's alpha and beta, so it was absolutely uncomfortable for me. Their scent was infuriating to my nose, and it just kept getting stinkier every minute that passed by.
Siege wanted to dispose of their bodies in a way that no one would be able to find their corpses, but he had no idea how to do so.
I suggested setting their bodies on fire, but it would still gather the pack members' attention, so he made up his mind that he would just make an official announcement that he killed the both of them and that they were the first ones to challenge him to a duel.
As their rules were originally set, once someone challenged the other party into a duel, either one of the two had to die, no matter who it was. And now that Siege has done it, he will definitely be the strongest wolf in the whole Dark Valley.
"Are you going back to the Crimson Moon Pack?" I asked out of curiosity, thinking that he left Stella without saying anything. "If you abandoned Stella because you were in a hurry to come here and save me, I'm sure that she's bursting in anger right now. She will certainly hurt me the moment she sees me together with you," I explained, explaining how anxious I was with my sister.
The alpha was occupied with pulling the legs of the dead bodies, dragging them back to Leo's house. It was the only spot he could think of.
"I told your sister that I was going to see you, since I had a bad feeling. I heard her complaining, but I ignored her," Siege answered with a soft chuckle. "Why are you still worried about her? I already promised you that I won't choose her even if she's really pregnant with my pups." Siege leaned his back on the wall, glancing my way with one of his eyebrows raised.
"I don't know about your real feelings, Siege. I know that you might end up choosing me in the end as your fated mate and the pack's Luna, but that wouldn't guarantee that you really don't feel any sort of affection or admiration for Stella," I replied with my head bowed down, sensing that my eyes were getting a bit hot because of how my tears were starting to build up.
Siege walked towards my spot, and I could only see his feet in front of me. However, he held my chin to force me to let our eyes meet. Those tender expressions written on his face made me feel like he was waiting for me to do something to him.
"Why are you gazing at me like that?" I asked him, feeling a bit shy when I realized that his eyes were sparkling with lust. "You're not going to do it with me here..." I gulped, thinking about the two who were in the same room as us. "Are we seriously going to release our heat in a place where there are dead bodies around us?" I continued my query.
He couldn't help but laugh at my weird reaction. "So you're thinking that we're going to do something erotic in Leonardo's house? Have you already forgotten that we're not the only ones here, since there's also rogues on the other side of that door?" Siege pointed over the door where I was tasked by Leo to enter last time.
I shook my head, since that was also one of my worries.
Minutes later on, we left the former beta of the Silver Moon Pack's house. I have no clue yet as to how Siege will deal with their wolves or if he plans to merge them into a single pack.
"We're heading back to our mansion. Would you rather go find another place to stay for a while or are you going to stick around with me?" Siege questioned me, hinting out that he was worried that I might face Stella after having such a tough fight last night.
"Let's go see Kris first; I have something to tell him about our marriage," I answered, telling him that I'd go with him to the Crimson Moon Pack house.
And it didn't take us long enough for us to get back to his pack house. We made sure that no eyes were going to be set upon our entrance. As much as possible, I would like to avoid any unnecessary drama right now, since I have to discuss an important matter with their beta.
I placed my fist, which was formed into a tight ball, in front of my chest, trying to ease up the nervousness I had. This is going to be the first time that I've ever tried to neglect someone who wanted to marry me.
After all, no one has proposed to me before in the real world that I belong to. Not Ice, not Siege. Absolutely no one.
The alpha tried to cheer me up when he sensed that I was feeling down. "Kris isn't going to bite you; don't be too tense. You're going to end up messing your message with him. It's better to directly tell him that you're no longer interested in him, and you've decided to be with me once and for all," he whispered.
Siege halted right beside me at our entrance, where no one was around. It was still dark inside, despite the brightness outside caused by the morning sun. There weren't any windows inside the space we were in.
"Where are we?" I asked, roaming my eyes around, which was quite disappointing since there wasn't anything to look at.
Siege wrapped his arms around my waist. But this time, he wasn't merely embracing me from behind. He was literally inches apart in front of me. I caught a glimpse of how his face turned red, even though I could barely see anything here.
The silence inside the small space we were in made it clearer for me to hear how much Siege's heart was beating nonstop. It was like it was about to explode any second now.
"Celestina..." Siege softly whispered my name near my ear, causing the heat inside my body to burst up. "I can't wait to claim you as mine anymore," he added, pinning both of my arms on the wall, side by side.
With my current position, I stood no chance to push him away, and I didn't even think about it. I was waiting for him to press his lips on mine, but Siege's soft and wet lips touched my neck, tracing their way down my collarbone.
I couldn't help but tilt my head upward to give him more space to plant his kisses on me. "Siege..." I mumbled his name in between my tiny gasps for air.
"Can I give you my mark now, Celestina?" Siege asked for my permission, and seeing that I had no reason to refuse, I simply nodded my head.
I gasped upon sensing his teeth piercing through my neck as he sipped on it. He had to cover my mouth with one of his hands to prevent me from creating a loud noise that might lead us to be seen and heard by anyone nearby. Siege inserted two of his fingers in my mouth, playing with my tongue to make me shut my mouth until he finished marking me.
"That's going to be it for today. We'll continue this tonight," Siege huskily said, licking on his lips as well as the fingers that were in my mouth earlier.
I scrunched my forehead out of frustration, thinking that he was unfair. So, I placed both of my hands on his nape, pulling him closer to me, then passionately kissed him. Our tongues battled each other inside, and when I was about to run out of breath, I gave in and pulled back.
I glanced at his neck, and even if I knew I shouldn't do this, I could no longer restrain myself. "This is just to be fair," I uttered, pressing my lips on his neck before I pierced my sharp teeth on him, sucking it like a vampire to give him a mark.
A mark that will tell everyone to step back and that someone already owns Siege.
My eyes widened when I heard footsteps that were approaching the room we were in. Siege hurriedly pushed me, but still in a gentle manner, then moved in front of the door.
"Siege! What happened to the two of you?" Kris hurriedly went to check up on the alpha upon his arrival.
Why did he have to appear now?
Kris kept on turning Siege's face round and round, examining if there was any other spot that was left untreated. The beta's faint smile instantly vanished the moment that he saw the mark that I'd given Siege, and it felt like Kris' world had momentarily stopped.
