Save her
Raiza's pov
I took a quick look around to make sure no one else was aware that an intruder had broken into their territory. When the man I had been following since the other day entered the old abandoned building, I instantly hid behind the huge plants to quietly watch his actions. I slanted my head away from the bushes that blocked my view and peek inside to observe the man who entered, but I was taken aback when I recognized who these people were.
I had a feeling about it. My instinct has never failed me from the very beginning, "I know it's always you who's behind all of this shits." I murmur as I see who the jerk who just purposefully hit and ran to Ciara that time.
'Yes, I observed everything he did last night, from waiting for Ciara to running into her with his car. Merciless. He just got out of the hospital today, and the moment he walked in, I knew Ciara was his target. Every step he took was visible to me, and now everything is apparent. Everything is so clear to me.
"Looks like there's no chance of her surviving, boss." The man chuckled as if there was something funny in what he said. My hand forms into a fist the moment I feel the rage reaching the top of my lungs.
"Where is she now?" Soriano asked with a curved grin on her lips.
I want to rush over to where she was right now, stick the gun right exactly in her head, and pull the trigger nonstop until she drowns in her own disgusting blood. All I could think was that she was different among all since she treated me as if I were half of her when we were still working as agents in Hong Kong, but it turned out that she wasn't. She's an evil who's pointing a pistol at innocent people with her filthy hands, and I don't. We're not the same at all. We're not half as I think it is, but a complete opposite.
And now, it's all clear to me why you quit and left me behind. It is because you're here, killing innocent people just to benefit yourself.
"Right at the moment, she's still laying on the hospital bed, boss. Tyron took her over, and now the idiot seems to be regretting everything. " He burst out laughing. I can't help but clench my fists and can only think of killing these stupid traitors.
"Another wonderful news, Boss. You won't believe this, but based on what I heard, she's dying, and the doctor only gave her ten hours to wake up. The situation is that she has a cardiac illness that won't allow her to wake up in time, and it looks like she won't really be able to make it." The latter smirks.
What? Ciara is suffering from heart disease?! Why in the world did Tyron let his wife get sick?! Oh, God! I can't believe this! Everything is in a complete state of chaos now!
I just wanted to get up in here and attack and stab that fucking asshole in his back. How could he even manage to make fun of it? Is it funny to know someone is dying because of heart trouble? Gosh, I really can't stand this anymore. It's making my blood boil and wanting them to bury in their own grave!
"That's great to hear. By the way, remember this, on Sunday, we'll wait for a target to arrive in San Roque. We're not done yet. This is just the beginning, there's still work to be done," Soriano says with a grin.
Still? When are they going to stop with this nonsense?
"We're finally going to get dig the grave I've been preparing for that traitor. We're going to make that fucking person suffer little by little as its parents did to our parents." I could see how dark her eyes were, contradicting the smile she was wearing.
Who is she referring to?
"You truly have no idea what you're doing, Soriano," My brows knitted in confusion when I heard an unidentified voice not far away from where I was... Its tone was clearly hostile, and it seemed as if it was about to attack the people I had been watching since then. I took a glance over the other side of the wall and noticed an unexpected figure glaring at Soriano.
"If only I had known about your plans right away, I would have taken her away from the start and would not let you lay your dirty hands on her." He whispered, visibly agitated by the way his fist was barely clenched and shook so hard.
Who is he?
But the idea of who Soriano was referring to perplexes me even more. Who are they going to finish off? It's impossible to be Ciara, she's currently in the hospital and is unlikely to make it to San Roque. Well, if ever she did, why would she go there all of a sudden, and these people know she'll be arriving there at the time? How could they possibly be aware of everything?
I clicked my tongue and thought of another person who might be their target. If it's not Ciara, then who could possibly be that person?
But then, out of nowhere, a familiar figure appeared in my head.
"He can't be.." I covered my mouth when I thought of a particular person.
Could it be... Tyron?
"What did Tyron's parents do?" A confusing question engulfed my whole system.
He needs to be aware of this, he must run away and hide!
I silently stood up and cautiously walked away from that place. I didn't even have to think about that person I saw earlier again and just hurriedly started the engine and drove away when I finally got into my car.
HOSPITAL
Tyron's pov
I laid the fruits down on the table before sitting next to her bed. When she was still unresponsive, I sighed. I gently grabbed her hand in mine and gently placed it on my cheek to feel her warmth.
"Wife..."
"Wife, it's time to wake up," I say quietly, brushing my fingers across the back of her hand.
"I still have a lot to tell you. I want to apologize for everything I did. I know you won't like seeing me like this, but I have to be honest with you, I'm regretting everything. I-It's hard seeing you laying here, it pains me a lot. It doesn't make sense that I'm feeling this, I know because I once told you that this is all I want. But... I didn't know you'd really take it seriously..." I intertwined her hand with my shaky hands as I held my tears back.
That's when I heard the door open and someone walks in.
"Tyron, how is she?" I looked up as Tito and Tita walked with Jennifer in my direction.
"Still sleeping," I forced a smile at them as I still tried to hold back the tears that were about to fall.
I got up when some nurses hurriedly came in and started surrounding Ciara.
"I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait outside the ICU room. We need to work this out as soon as possible. We don't have enough time. "
"W-what are you saying?" I asked, confused.
"We only have two hours remaining to get her back to consciousness, sir!" My brows furrowed glancing over the clock.
"Damn it! Why are you moving only now?!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry, sir. But your wife isn't the only patient here inside this hospital that we need to save. I'm asking politely, sir. Please, leave. We have to save time!"
I cast a peek at Tita, who was loudly crying and begging as she left the room. When I felt the heat of my eyes, which were about to tear up, I took a deep breath.
"Please, save her."
"If you have to take my life just to save her, don't hesitate to use me. I'm willing to offer my heart to her, just please.. keep her alive no matter what." She didn't respond and was a bit surprised by what I just said. Having a deep and frustrated sigh, I turned my back and left the room.
You have to be alive no matter what.
I went to the bathroom right away to let out all of the tears that were about to spill out of my eyes. I lingered in the restroom for a few minutes longer, until the door swung open.
As our gazes connected, Jennifer shouted, "Tyron!" she was now panicking.
"A-ara-" hearing only her name made my heart pound in nervousness and quickly ran out of the comfort room without hearing all that Jennifer was about to say. In only seconds, I found myself rushing towards the ICU room, where I could clearly hear Tita's loud cry and scream which made my heart beat faster.
"Tyron..."
Even before Jennifer could say what she wanted to say, my tears just automatically escaped from my eyes and streamed down my face.
It can not be...
"We're sorry..."
No!
"She's gone."
