Traitor
Ciara's pov
They're siblings?
Of course, they do! It's literally obvious in their last names, I'm just the one who is so stupid here who believes Hannah that she's not connected with them.
What comes to my mind and I really believe she doesn't know Shaira?
All this time, the answer was all obvious. It was just my narrow mind who put me in this freaking situation, and now, I don't know how to get out of here. I'm stuck and screwed.
"We meet again, my dear," she grinned at me as if she was so proud of herself that I went here on their territory on my own.
"Now tell me, have your questions been answered now on who I am?" She asked, but I just glared at her, causing her deafening laughter to echo in my ears.
"Tie her!" Hannah ordered their men who I thought were also her rivals but turns out that she's one of these filthy people. She gave me irritating smirks before turning her back on me.
Traitor!
I didn't know she was this good at acting, she literally made us ride on her pretentious trait. Unluckily, it was Tyron who she fooled more and not me. They were together for five years, and I don't know how she was acting in front of him, acting as if she really loved him when in fact, she was just using him. It's so funny that she forced Tyron back to her just to get her revenge on me. That was literally stupid.
But there's a part of me that I hope will just let them be together when Hannah comes back so that we won't get involved here, especially my best friend who is now blabbering that I don't quite understand. She kept on ranting and talking shit about Hannah, where I just let her be since she was just spitting facts.
I calmly close my eyes when her whispers turn into shouts. This place is an open area, that's why every noise she makes, it's echoing all over the place, and it almost broke my eardrums.
I felt the two men grip my arm and help me to stand up just to tie me.
"Let me go!" I Irritatedly yelled at them as I tried to take my arms away from them. My blood was starting to boil up whenever their grip was getting tight, I felt like my chest was going to explode at any moment now because of the rage building up on me, it's making me want to kick them as an unwanted memory keep on showing on my memory because of what they're doing, the painful struggles that I get from him before. It's all coming back, it's traumatic and it makes me want to burst out a painful scream.
I don't want to remember it again, but everything that I escaped seems to be coming back. My eyes were getting black, and the fear was building up again in my system, I didn't even get to notice that they were not holding me anymore the moment that I lost my sense, and unnoticeable kicking them away from me. They both stumbled from the ground. My breath was getting heavy, while my chest was tightening as I felt the irritation in my head. It's so frightening that what I had experienced was now repeating itself, and I felt like I had no strength to fight again.
Our eyes met, and my chest seems to tighten even more when I saw how his eyes welled up with tears as if it was telling me how he felt sorry and regretted everything, how he wanted to hug me to ease the pain I was feeling right now, but it won't help me, it would never help me. He will never make my pain less the fact that he's the reason behind why I am suffering from this unwanted trauma.
"Tss, tss, tss!" My dim and glaring eyes darted to the woman who made my blood boil even more. Shaira. She kept on shaking her head as if she was so disappointed in me.
"Pity Ciara, doesn't have any idea that she has merciless murderer parents," she said, disappointment was so clear in her voice as if she was making me feel how pitiful I am that I get to live in this sinful world.
She made her way step closer to my direction as she tightened her grip on my jaw. Disgusted, I forcingly slammed her hands away from my face as I pinned her with my glaring eyes.
"Ha!" She scoffed the moment her hand landed in the air. I didn't bother giving attention to the men who grabbed my arms and stopped me from moving, instead, I kept my eyes on her, making her feel how enraged I am right now. I didn't fight back anymore because I knew that I would only run out of energy since I forced myself to fight even though I don't really have a match with them, this could be better than tying me down.
"You really have no idea how ruthless your parents were, right? Just so you know, they were too blinded by money. They likely wanted to worship the money as their God. That's how terribly evil your parents are, that once they didn't get what they wanted, they wouldn't hesitate to lay their filthy hands on their victims and kill them mercilessly. They don't think of anything else but only money. They don't care what problem their victims were carrying as they killed them just for the money. Do you know what they did when our parents didn't get to reach the limited time to pay their debt? They just took our parents' life in front of us! We were so young back then, but they show us how demonic they are!" She growled from the top of her lungs, eyes popping out, it seemed like her veins were going to pop out any moment because of anger.
"They took our parents' lives, so I'll take yours too!" She yelled and landed her palm against my face. I barely closed my mouth when I felt my face go numb from the force of her slap.
"You bastard! Don't wait for me to untie this fucking rope before I get closer to you! I would literally kill you in hell if you didn't fucking put yourself away from her!" Tyron shouted as he tried to break free from the shackles that wrapped around his body. Can he just stop moving? He's acting as if he doesn't have wounds in his body.
"Aw, look, how sweet you are! Why? You're the one who used to do this to her, right? And now that I'm doing your job, you're getting pissed? Why? Haha, shouldn't you be happy because I'm just continuing your job?" She sarcastically asked and chuckled as she stepped closer to Tyron's place who now looked like a furious tiger where at any moment he would attack his victim's cruelty.
His anger was so different from what I used to see in him, but it's the anger that I am liking.
"Fuck!" She cursed when Tyron spits on her face, but it was also followed by a slap on Tyron's face, so hard that it looked like I was the one who felt the pain because of how powerful the force it was. I know it hurts the moment that I clearly heard the crispiness of the slap in his face.
But Tyron's face remained straight with his eyes glazed over.
"Did you see that?" She turned on me. "You should be thankful, I got your revenge." She grumbles but I just rolled my eyes.
It's not enough. But I would be happier if both of you were hurt.
"If you think you're cool and look good at what you're doing. Then sorry to tell you but you look so hard making yourself look strong. Well, maybe, you looked good physically because of how white you are, so white that you looked like you were drowning in glutathione." I sarcastically insulted her, which made her scoff.
"Really? Why does your fighting spirit seem to be getting stronger now, huh? You seem to have forgotten that you were tied up there and you had no fight when I killed you? Don't brag too much, Ciara, because I might run out of patience here and I started drowning you in your blood." She threatened to make me silent.
"I'm impatient, I might not be able to hold myself and make your death too early," she said in a serious tone while playing with a gun in her hand.
"Hey, sis!" We all turned in Hannah's direction when we heard her voice.
I rolled my eyes. Here's the pretentious demon who I really thought would be someone I could trust but not. It's disappointing that she became my greatest comfort zone but also who will unexpectedly trigger my trauma. My trust issue got worse with the people around me, I no longer knew to who I should give my trust.
"Ciara, can you see this? Guess where this chain came from." Hannah smiled while still waving it in the air. My brow arched.
I don't care who it came from, I might even wrap it around her neck.
"I don't know, but I think it will look good on your neck, why don't you try twisting it around your neck? Let's see if you can still breathe," I suggested, but she just frowned at me, offended.
"Excuse me?!" She grumbles. Tss.
I wasn't surprised at all when Hannah suddenly grabbed my hair and tweaked it, causing the two men to let go of me. I had the opportunity to fight her back.
"How dare you!" She screams at me as it tweaks me. I didn't hold back and grabbed her hair with all my might, which she quickly complained about.
I pulled her hair even harder as if all the resentment I had accumulated all my life had poured into the way of pulling her hair and wanting to remove all that from her scalp. I can't even control myself anymore because of anger.
Resentment, shame, anger. Almost all of that I could feel right now, and I could no longer feel myself because my eyes were getting darkened while my body kept on attacking her. Her hair was almost removed from her head because of how hard I was pulling her hair. She growled and let go of me which was a great opportunity for me to kick her in the stomach.
"Ah!" She moaned after I watched her spew and fall to the ground. Sharp eyes, clenched fists, heavy and fast breathing. I could feel nothing but pure anger and remorse that I was able to trust her.
Traitor! You are a traitor, Hannah! You are no longer worthy to live in the world! All the evilness and selfishness I have done to you before was what you really deserve because you have no heart! You're merciless! User! You are all the same!
*bang*
I snapped and took a step back, my glaring eyes that were pinned to Hannah faded when gunshots rang out all around and in my ear. I feel like my whole system is suddenly pumped because of its loud noise.
"I told you to tie her!" I heard Shaira shout, the two men approached me again as they grip and tie me with the chain Hannah was carrying earlier. I didn't fight again because I knew I would get even weaker. I've poured out all my resentment on Hannah enough, so I'm going to gather my energy instead so I have a reason to fight them again later when I escape from here.
I'll make them pay for everything I have been suffering.
Tss, once I found out who the hell came this chain from, I'm really going to twist this around its neck.
After they tied me up, Hannah approached me, glaring while holding her stomach where I beat her up.
Deserve.
"Just so you know, it's your husband who bought that chain that is tied to you! How sweet he is, right? He insisted on buying this for you, obviously, because he already planned to use this for you, he knows this is gonna happen to you that's why he prepared this. Amusing, right?" She burst out laughing. My face twisted in a grimace of disgust.
"Can you fucking hold yourself from laughing ?! Your saliva we're literally spitting on me!" I irritatedly complain.
I scoffed when I felt her palm land on my face without hesitation, a sarcastic little chuckle came out of my mouth.
Is that it? Too weak, maybe she wants me to give a sample? Her slap was literally obvious that she didn't really intend to do it.
She took a step back when she hears me silently chuckling
"Tss, coward."
"What did you say?!" She was pissed as she grabbed my hair, but I didn't budge and just let her do whatever she wanted. I already did my part.
"Go on, hurt her until you get satisfied," We both turned in Tyron's direction when he suddenly spoke. Hannah immediately let go of my hair and looked at me with an insulting laugh. I looked at her from head to toe as if asking her if she was a weirdo. Isn't she used to it yet?
Is it her first time hearing Tyron saying that? She's not that stupid to forget that this man right there was literally the first one to hurt me.
"See? Even he wants me to hurt you!" She mumbles but then immediately stops when she hears what Tyron said next.
"Because I'm making sure that this will be the last time you'll see yourself breathing for laying your fucking hands on her," shocked, I quickly turned my gaze on Tyron when he said that. My lips parted when they were now both looking like they were threatening Hannah with their looks as a smirk rested on their lips. Hannah stepped back as if she got scared by Tyron and Jennifer who were deadly staring at her, horror was evident on her face as she kept stepping her feet back. She was all alone and had no one to run from since their men and her siblings were nowhere to be found as they all walked out earlier.
Their plan of scaring Hannah succeeded when it's obvious how her lips twitch in nervousness, I scoffed.
"You're still weak, Hannah. You're just brave whenever your siblings are beside you," I uttered seriously when I noticed her reaction and acts suddenly changed into a panic. He got nervous even though these two were tied up and was too far from her.
"Y-you guys are crazy!" She shouted and didn't hesitate to walk away, probably to follow her look-alike-villain brother just like her.
A little smile grew on my lips when they all finally went into my sight. No one was watching us over since they all left us here.
Idiots.
I turned my gaze on Jennifer when I noticed she was trying to get out of her shackles, while Tyron, who was busy reaching for a broken glass beside her using his feet, both trying to flee from being tied. I gasped.
Staring at him, I don't know what to feel for Tyron. My feelings were all mixed and it's making me confused. It was a puzzling emotion, I can't figure out what I really have to feel towards him. Just a while ago, I was shocked and a bit pitiful when I found out Hannah betrayed him. Just imagine how he was so in love with Hannah, but turns out she was just using him. Isn't it too pathetic? But now, I feel so upset and enraged. The fact that he's the one who bought this chain for me was so disappointing. He really never hesitates to hurt me, isn't he?
They're all the same, heartless.
My whole body was completely devastated, they were not going to stop doing shits that will make me feel so worthless. It's now hard for me to trust in the people around me, I lost it. I don't know who to believe and trust anymore. It's only Jennifer who can assure me that she will never break me.
"How did she catch you, Jen? How come you got in here?" I asked Jennifer, referring to Hannah, who she told me was the one who's at fault for why she got dragged over here. She stopped for a moment, her shoulders dropped as she failed to break free from being tied. I heard her sigh dramatically as she turned her gaze on me, disbelief was so clear in her eyes and that's when her mouth started exploding. Telling me what happened, starting from her following me until she found out the truth.
"She's really getting on my nerves! Did you know what just happened?! Well! I was actually with my parents since we had a meeting with their business partners, but I sneaked out since I can't be calm knowing you're in danger, that's why I went there to follow you," she started.
"But then, I saw Tyron there," she pointed at him, but I kept my ears on her, listening to all that she was saying.
"But I didn't show myself to him, since I know he's just gonna send me home. Then, that was also the time I saw you got trapped between those two ugly people. I was supposed to help you, but it's weird because I saw Hannah there, she was hiding all along while watching you. Of course, I got confused, because she was literally smiling while watching you suffer, like what the hell, man?! Why are you laughing?! And that's when I thought, she's probably an accomplice, and I'm not wrong! Since then, my hunch about her wasn't really that good. Even just her face isn't that trustworthy!"
"That's why I made my move, I slammed her with a plank of wood on her back when she really didn't try helping out there. Huh! She even told you last night she's gonna take care of you? The fuck! She was just literally watching you over there getting beat up?! Is that the meaning of taking care of her? Wow, she's making my blood boil!" Jennifer hysterically said, enraged was so obvious in her face and I can clearly feel it too. I can't help but get disappointed and hate her even more. I'm disappointed because she made me ride on her act last night in front of everyone, and despise her at the same time for betraying me.
"The case is, I didn't see her men's coming to me, because when I tried to beat her up, they were just behind watching my actions, and that's when they beat me too. Then, when I wake up, I'm already here, tied up with Tyron," she explained and snorted.
I nodded as soon as I heard her side, I couldn't help but feel enraged and I couldn't do anything since I was also here with them.
"We need to get out of here," I whisper.
"Is that even possible?" Frowning, my eyes pinned on him. It's so clear to his eyes how eager he is to help me and Jennifer to get out of here and escape, but it was the unlucky charm who's with us right now since we're all stuck in here and have nothing to do.
"If there's a will there's away," I replied coldly and averted my gaze from him. I know this is not the right time to let him feel my anger because I know his heart was also in great misery right now, bleeding in pain.
Who wouldn't get hurt when the person you are head over heels in love with betrayed you?
Lol, deserve.
"You're so grumpy, Ara! Stop it. We need to escape from here, stop picking fights against him, he might leave us here! Gosh!" Ara complained, I rolled my eyes.
"Then go by himself? Who cares if he leaves us here? If he can escape from here, we can do it too." He already left me alone since then, there was no reason for me to rely on him anymore. It was as if he hadn't made me feel how he cares nothing about me or how much I suffered for the rest of my life? Tss, so why would I expect anything from him when she never cared for me all along? If we escape from here, he's the one we will leave here alone, while Jennifer and I will run away together.
Face her so-called wife traitor alone. Lol. She fights for her, right? Wasn't that traitor the one he loves? Why doesn't he defend it right now? Let's see if Satan didn't pick him up from here and burn him with a large fire. That would definitely be fun.
Speaking of fire.
"Wait." My eyes widened when I remembered something.
"Why? Is anyone coming? Gosh! We need to get out of here immediately before they catch us still here!" Jennifer said, panicking.
"It's not what I mean!"
"Then what is it and you looked so shocked there?! You're literally making me nervous here!" She yelled back.
"Tss, I'm referring to my lighter. It's inside my bag, get it from here, quick!" My heartbeat was faster when I finally saw a way from getting out of here.
"What? How come you have a lighter? Don't tell me, you smoke?!" She was shocked.
"No! I just forgot to bring it back and can you get it and stop talking?! We have no time!"
"Forgot, you keep on reasoning you forgot! Why don't you just forget everything? Don't tell me you also forgot that you don't actually have amnesia? But in fairness to you besty! Being forgettable makes sense at all!" Her loud laugh filled the quiet place, but then the silence became quieter as I realized what she just spilled. Irritation gradually disappears from my face and changes into shock. I swallowed hard when I felt Tyron turn his head quickly in my direction even if I'm not looking at him.
Why did she spill it out?!
"What?" Shock and confusion were all evident in Tyron's voice.
"Will you repeat what you've just said?" Jennifer stopped for a moment when she finally got to realize what stupidity she had just done! He slowly bit her lower lip and looked at me as if she regretted what she said.
"She has no what?"
"H-hmm? Did I say something? Haha, I don't remember speaking… I didn't say anything. Maybe you're just hallucinating hahaha!" She made an excuse but nervousness was so obvious on her face! I closed my eyes tightly, pissed. She's making the situation worse!
SHE LITERALLY JUST SPILL IT OUT!
"You don't have amnesia?" Confused, Tyron was still staring at me unbelievably, and couldn't take his shocked eyes from me. I let out a deep sigh before I face him, I keep my face straight. Showing him I'm not affected by Jennifer telling the truth.
"Nothing."
