Fight Scene
"You don't have amnesia?" Seemed like he couldn't believe what he just heard.
I felt a little bit of guilt because I remembered that this was also the day he found out that he was betrayed and used by his ex-lover. While I'm here, acting as if I never knew him, and I forgot about him, where all that he does is regret everything as he makes up for all his wrongdoings, showing me how pure his actions and intentions towards me are. I averted my gaze on him because I don't know how bad and devastated he is right now, his face is all messed up, and he looks pitiful as if the world turned his life down. His shoulder sinks after he forces himself to smile at me, accepting the truth. I even caught how tears formed from his tired eyes as he averted his head.
Is he hurting? Why? Because I lied to him? He's hurting because of me wanting to forget him and pretending I didn't know him?
"Not true... I see," he whispers in the air as he looks up for a moment to stop his tears from dripping, a bitter smile formed on his lips.
"Yes, it wasn't true. Why? We just quit, don't worry. See this? Look how humble you are, you even managed to buy me a chain. Should I be thankful?" I asked sarcastically, bitterness was traced in my voice.
"And you actually believed her?" I frowned. So what is he saying?!
"Do you really think it would fit in you? That was supposed to be for a dog I'm about to buy. The size of the round leash makes it impossible to fit in your little hand. Even if you tried it on your foot, it still wouldn't fit. Tss, I didn't know you'll really believe her, I thought you're not gullible as I think you are, but I think I'm wrong," he said in a serious tone with a bit of insult. I didn't answer and just compared my hand on the leash while frowning.
The chain has no adjustment and there will be a huge space when it will put through my hands. But it doesn't change anything, my rage still remains in me the fact that he still hurts me. Even if it's for the dog, he also treated me like a dog who did nothing but obey everything he said
"Can you guys at least stop fighting for now? What we need to think about is how we could get out of here. I'm getting bored here!" Jennifer's complaints made me let out an upset sigh. I glared at him once again, but my lips loosen when he rolled his eyes at me.
Wow.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! I told you to stop-"
"WE'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING?!" We both yelled. I got irritated when our eyes met.
"Can you just lend me the lighter?!"
"Here, take it from here," I ordered as I slightly bent over to put the bag closer to them.
"Come here, get closer!" Tyron says, so I quickly moved my chair where I was tied. They did the same, we kept on moving our chairs closer to each other until we were gathered together.
"Open it up," he ordered.
"Does it look like I can open the zipper?"
"Calm down, gosh! I'll turn around, then bring the zipper close to my hands so I can open it," Jen suggested and immediately turn her back. I greeted my teeth as her chair made a loud noise when she moved.
"Where is it?" I leaned closer to where exactly her hands were for her to reach the zipper. When she already had it, she made her way to open it.
"There it is! The one on the bottom, get it, Ty!" I hurriedly ordered it when I brought my bag closer to him. He quickly bent down his head to get the lighter using his mouth inside my bag. After he gets it, he immediately passes it to Jen.
"Why is it so big?!" Jennifer asked.
"Don't ask too many questions! Just moved and they might have caught us here!" They didn't listen to me and Jen just immediately helped Tyron burn its rope. After a moment the rope cut off. Tyron grabbed the lighter from Jen and did the same to her rope.
When they were finally done, Jen then grabbed the lighter from Tyron and approached me.
"Wait.. how about Ara, Tyron? It's a chain, there's even a padlock! How could we break this?! Should we just leave her alone here? Joke! What are we gonna do with this chain?!" Jen asked, panicking after she jokingly said that they're gonna leave me here. I glared at her.
Ty bit his lip when he realized it wasn't just a rope that bound him and it wouldn't melt immediately when they used fire. I suddenly thought of a way.
During the time I was locked up inside that abandoned room, Hannah came to help me out. I remember she took something from her hair and then she stuck it in the lock of the door.
What was that? Could it be a hairpin? That's the only thing I saw she was handing when she successfully unlocked the door.
I swallowed for a moment and immediately turned to them who were now looking for something to break the padlock.
"There's a hairpin in my hair, get it, quick!" I'm not sure if this will work, but never mind! It's better to try everything than do nothing.
"What are you going to do there? Hey, Ara! We're trying to run away here, this is not the right time to make yourself look pretty, come on! '' my eyebrows met. What the fuck is she saying?!
"Stop joking around and just get it!" We don't have much time and in a few moments, those hudloms will probably come back here.
"Here, what do you gotta do with this?"
"Oh, I know. Give it to me," Tyron said as Jen quickly handed it to him. He went behind me and there was something he was doing there. I don't know what he did but my heart jumped with joy when I heard the padlock unlocked.
"Woah, that's cool! How did you do that bro?" Amusement in Jennifer's voice was traced." Wait, what are we going to do now?" Jennifer asked when we finally untied all the ties around us.
"Here. Hold these," Tyron handed us a thing that we could use to protect ourselves.
"Keep that for your protection. Then we need to PRETEND that we're still tied up when they come back. We will just attack them once we get the perfect timing to fight. Got it?" He explained, my brows furrowed. What's his problem and he really needs to emphasize the word pretend? Really? Is that how affected he is?
Just tell me if he had a problem with that. He doesn't even have a right to complain about the fact that he deserves to be forgotten. Well, if I can just say it straight to him, he also deserves to be betrayed by his ex-lover. Lol.
My character development here is getting an act of bad revenge and I lose interest in everything.
"Okay, got it!" Jennifer replied and returned to her usual position while re-wrapping the rope around her body to make it look still tied to her.
"Ciara, did you understand?" Tyron turned to me, his face was straight and serious, so I just frowned at him and didn't answer.
The thickness of his face talking to me? Is that his character development? Got transformed as one of the angels? It doesn't suit him, honestly. Why didn't he try showing this side of him to Hannah, maybe there could be a chance of letting him go.
I just went straight back to where I was, and just hung the chain around my body. I don't wrap it up anymore because it might be hard for me to get out later.
"They're coming," Tyron whispers. I felt the surroundings, and we could now feel the atmosphere getting heavier because of their footsteps and voices that seemed to be getting close to where we are.
They're here...
My blood started to heat up again as I clenched my fist in anger.
"How are you guys? How does it feel to get tired there?" We heard Hannah's voice echo as they slowly went out together. I winced as she watched the three of us happily.
Go on, keep on smiling so I could be pissed at you even more, and won't hesitate to slam my chair right in your freaky face.
"Why don't you try to tie yourself to know how it feels? Where's your mindset, stupid!" Jennifer irritatedly shouted. I pressed my lips together to resist laughing when I saw how Jennifer was pretending to get out, even though she wasn't tired anymore.
"Let us go now, Hannah," I tried to make myself look pitiful, which made her laugh.
"You want me to release you? No way, that's not enough! We'll slowly get rid of the three of you, just like your evil parents did to our parents!" She pointed at me furiously. I didn't take my eyes off her and let her feel how much I hate her as my cold eyes fixed on her.
She keeps on blabbering shits, too far from the Hannah I used to know.
"Hand me my gun," I heard Shaira command one of their men. He moved quickly and handed the gun he was holding to Shaira.
"What now, Ciara? Maybe you want to beg for your life before we finish you?" Hannah asked, smirking.
May the bloodshed, but I would never kneel to the demons like you, Hannah, just to beg for my life.
"Are you guys ready to suffer and DIE?" She emphasizes the last word as she playfully smirks at us. I boldly traced her, as if I was going to laugh at her joke. She could no longer frighten me with such a threat because I had been ready for death since I was born. I was born to die. It's been plenty of times since I met death, but he never took me.
"The question is, are you ready to see your dirty bloodshed?" We all shifted our attention to the person who spoke from behind.
I victorious smile automatically formed on my lips as I saw who it was.
"Nice one," Tyron whispers, smirking, so as Jennifer did who seemed to look overjoyed when she saw the person we both didn't expect to see here.
It's nice seeing you here, Raiza.
"Wow, two traitors collided. What a disappointment, idiots." Shaira gladly greeted the two people as she faced them. I stuck my tongue out a bit in satisfaction when I saw how calm and cool Raiza was just standing there. She tilted her head to peek at us, I nodded at her as our eyes met, giving her a sign that we were fine and no one got hurt which she immediately understood.
"How are you, Shaira? Long time no see!" Raiza greeted her with an excited smile on her face, obviously playing with Shaira. I don't know who she was with, it was a man who was quietly not familiar to me. Noticed he was directly looking at me even though he was far from where we are.
I ignored him even though he must be like an ally, but I didn't know him and I didn't know why he was smiling at me as if he was so happy to see me alive.
Does he happen to know me?
"You even brought a coward with you. Hmm, cupid?" Shaira turns her attention to the man.
Cupid?
"Let's not make this long, my time was just wasted with cheap people like you," Raiza said impatiently and even crossed her arms over her chest as if she had no interest in what the person in front of her was saying.
"Really? Then go no, get them if you can. But of course, you have to go through to us before you get them," the man said in just a cool posture. The guy with a scary face and looks like an addict who seems to smoke twenty rugby a day.
"You might haven't reached them yet, but you'll get crawled in pain on the floor towards them," Hannah commented as the three of us laughed from behind them.
"Hey." We looked at Tyron who nodded at ay, signaling it was time for us to move. They're all facing their backs in our direction, so they couldn't notice our actions, except for Raiza who is facing us.
I even saw how Raiza smirks and a silent chuckle echoed when she saw us stand up, grabbing the round metal bar that was placed next to us.
"Looks like you're the first to surrender here." The guy named cupid said excitedly when he also witnessed how we freely stood from our seats.
"Really Cupid? Ha! Let's see!" Shaira scoffed.
"Early condolences to both of you, for sure death was already waiting for all of you." Hannah.
"Why should death wait for us, if we are his ally?" I said calmly, just enough for them all to hear.
The shock was traced to their faces as they finally faced us. Their brows arched when we lifted the metal bar we were holding.
Surprised? As you should.
"W-wait, how the hell?!"
"You're too busy planning how you'll get rid of us, while we're here, already working our way to knock you out first," Jennifer commented, bragging, causing my grin to widen. Only now have I seen this side of her so it's getting more exciting.
It would have been appropriate for their men to rush at us when the deafening gunshots rang out all around, a reason to lose their attention to us and move to Raiza who is now moving in action.
Raiza quickly ran towards Shaira, while Hannah's brother went straight to Cupid. I felt Jennifer and Tyron next to me move to rush towards the men's direction.
As I remained standing in my place, watching Hannah approach me. I keep my face straight and feel the anger and remorse when I see her grinning face.
"What now, Ciara? Are you just gonna stand there?" Hannah asked and playfully laughed as she approached me. She stood a few steps away from me.
"Tss! A coward and crybaby Ciara will be my match? That's pathetic! One punch will knock you over right away, that won't even give me a thrill," a small smile grew on my lips, a genuine smile. A smile that is grateful because she was the reason why I have learned to fight back.
"If that's what you think of me, then why don't you prove it? Prove me that I'm that weak." I calmly replied. I looked at the metal bar I was holding and immediately threw it somewhere and then raised my hands as if surrendering.
"Go on. I won't fight," I said softly as I showed her my hands holding nothing. While she was holding a gun in her right hand. I watched as her smile slowly faded from her lips when she heard what I said. She blinked for a few more moments and seemed to suddenly think twice about what she was planning to do.
I wanted to laugh because she didn't know I was just playing with her mind. Manipulating her mind in such a way of showing her I won't fight back and will just let her do whatever she wants.
I do know how to do mind games, Hannah. You're just unlucky if you'll get yourself manipulated by what I am saying.
"Come on, Hannah. I know you really wanted to do this ever since, and now that you're free to do it, I'll just let you. I won't fight, I'm ready to catch whatever you want to give. Your parents deserve justice, Hannah, and I'm at fault for it, I know. It's my fault, so go ahead." I freely opened my hands, showing her that I was ready to accept the bullet she was going to fire while forcing my voice and reaction to look sad. I saw how guilt was starting to form in her eyes as she swallowed and blinked, that's why.
"Kill me," I said without hesitation. Slowly my gaze shifted to her hand holding a gun when I noticed it shiver.
Come on, Hannah. Ride me on. It's not bad to believe what I'm doing.
"Stop."
"Stop playing mind games on me! You can't fool me!" I wanted to laugh when I saw the nervousness and a little guilt in her eyes, but her reaction that she was trying so hard to resist made her look even more ridiculous in front of me.
She looks like a fool.
"Think whatever you want to think, Hannah. I'm just telling you that I'm willing to accept every bullet you will shoot at me. I'm willing to accept my death if that's what can give you peace of mind, just to give the death of your parents justice. Just.. kill me... " I said in a very soft tone and was able to take a step closer to her which made her back away.
I want to laugh. Laugh like a fucking crazy when I saw a tear dripping from her eye. I smirked secretly as she bent down to shake her head, but my sadness immediately returned when she looked up at me again.
"Stop making me look stupid!" She growled and raised her gun straight to my head.
"I know you're just fooling around, Ciara. Don't play with me because I'm not a fool!" And with that, her eyes just a moment ago with a little guilt were replaced by anger and hatred.
"You can't make me ride on your damn manipulation!" She screams, causing a smile to slowly appear on my face.
"Didn't know you're not that innocent." I chuckled, her eyes got dimmed even more.
"What are you waiting for? I said kill me, Hannah. Kill me. Why don't you do it? Are you scared?" I asked, laughing, insulting. His face turned red with anger and without hesitation, she finally rushed to me.
I don't know why she didn't use her gun. She can just pull the trigger to make me knocked down, why does she have to get her body tired just to finish me off.
I reluctantly dodged every punch, kick she was throwing at me. Even I never thought I could do this. I'm just a fragile woman who can't fight. But because of a will that wants to get my revenge, I have built up more courage to fight and avoid death.
If only she used her gun, I would probably be dead now. I know I can avoid her punches and kicks, but the bullets. I can't afford to avoid that.
"I thought it was just one punch? You can't even hit me once?" I laughed teasingly when I once again avoided her kick. It was as if she was about to explode with anger because she was so red.
She even glared at me.
"Argh! Die bitch!!" She shouted and was about to kick me again when I caught it. She was surprised for a moment when her foot got stuck in my hand.
"Are you done? My turn now," I said seriously and without hesitation, I twisted her thigh, causing her to scream in pain.
She immediately fell to the ground and cried out in pain. Panting, I put my hand on my waist.
"It's so tiring to avoid your kick, can you just use your gun? I'm tired," I complained. I don't know but I just laughed at what I said to myself the moment I gave up immediately.
I mean, I'm close to death. Maybe death wants to pick me up now, yeah?
"Ah!" I growled when I felt a bullet hit on my waist.
The fuck?! She really took my words seriously?!
She stood up quickly and again pointed her gun at me as I covered my waist when bloodshed from it. My lips parted.
"Don't be too calm, Ciara, because any time, I can knock you out," she said seriously while pointing her gun at me again.
Wait, I have no match against the gun. I'm just literally joking that I'm giving up!
I winced slightly when I felt the pain in my side. I glared at her and immediately turned my attention to the gun that was still pointing at me.
I bit my lower lip.
"Give up now, Ciara. We know you're weak and you have no fight- AH !!" She screamed after I grabbed the gun from her hand, and when I turned around, I quickly gave her a flying kick causing her to throw it against the chairs that were placed on the edges.
Holding my wound, I immediately pointed the gun at her, but my brows furrowed when she quickly stood up and pulled out another gun from behind her and pointed it at me as well.
"Brilliant, huh?" She scoffed when she saw that I had snatched one of her guns. I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Will you still get smart when it comes to him?" My eyebrows met even more when she said that, voice threatening. I don't know why but the nervousness quickly rumbled in my chest when she removed the gun from me and pointed it somewhere.
"Go ahead, Ciara. Shoot me! Pull your trigger and I'm going to blow up your husband's head!" She threatened with a deadly stare pinning me. My lips loosen as soon as I realized who she was pointing her gun with was Tyron.
I was stunned for a second and gulped.
"See, you're so weak!" She shouted at me when she saw how my hand started shaking and could no longer handle the gun properly. I turned my gaze back to Tyrone and it was as if for a moment my heart pounded in pain when I saw how he was struggling to dodge every blow and kick that was thrown at him.
"Bang!"
My eyes widened in shock as I witnessed how one of Hannah's men shot Tyron in the thigh. My knee seemed to weaken as I could clearly see the pain and suffering on his face while still trying to fight back.
Fuck it, Tyron!
"Tss. What now?" Anger welled up in my chest when I heard Hannah's playful laugh.
She seemed overjoyed at what she had witnessed.
"Why are you so happy?" I tried to hide the anger in my voice.
"Aren't you the first who loved him? Why do you seem to expect me to be affected by whatever happens to him? If anyone should be hurt between us, it's you, Hannah, and not me." I said in a serious tone. But inside me, I feel like my body is about to collapse now, because fuckm.. yes, I hate him! I hate Tyron and I want to retaliate, but I don't want to see him like this!
Come on, Tyron! Get up there and fucking fight for your life!
I could feel the heat in my eyes and my blood when I saw how he slowly fell to the ground.
"Why would I? I just used him to get revenge on you, Ciara. I never loved him and I will never be because it was all planned! Even from the very first place, I was just really using him, because I knew that you're deeply madly in love with him, right? And of course, you, being so rich, I knew you would do something just to get him. And for me, being the best actress. I agreed to be his girlfriend because I knew that there will be more chances of getting close to you once you both have a connection to each other, while we were still together. And if you really think that I'll pity him, then you're definitely wrong. Because I don't really care about him and I'm going to bury the both of you in death!
Her eyes were full of rage and telling the truth made my blood boil even more, but all that anger was replaced by tears. I felt my tears dripping down my cheeks and just found myself slowly putting down the gun as I broke down, kneeling in front of him.
"You have been together for five years, Hannah. Isn't that enough for him not to get involved here? He has nothing to do with this. It's just me, it's only me, Hannah."
"D-don't get him involved here, please," my tears completely escape from my eyes as my voice cracks saying those lines. Kneeling and begging. I didn't see myself doing this, but the moment I saw how weak and
All my tears welled up when I said that line. Kneeling and begging. I didn't see myself doing it, but when I saw that he was weak and helpless he was, it was as if darkness engulfed me.
It was as if I got locked in a tight, dark cell again. I couldn't breathe properly seeing him fainting.
Get up, Tyron. This is not what I am expecting from you! You still have to get back at me, so get your ass up in there and fight!
*BANG*
"AH!" To my surprise, I looked up at Hannah as she suddenly fell to the ground. I could clearly see the pain on her face as she held her bleeding chest.
"Ara!" My eyes widened as I turned to Jennifer behind me.
"Bullshit, Ara! Go to Tyron!" I heard her scream in fear and seemed to automatically move my hand to pick up my gun when I heard what Jennifer said. I was about to point the gun at Hannah when she suddenly grinned at me, already pointing her gun in Tyron's direction.
No, no, NO!
I wasn't able to get moving and my world seemed to stop when for the last time, Hannah didn't hesitate to pull the trigger of her gun and started firing directly at where Tyron was laying down. It was so clear how she fired three bullets in a row directly at him. could hear and could clearly see how it fired three bullets in a row in Tyron's direction. My body turned to rock when slowly, I witnessed how his head fell on the ground, body completely motionless.
N-no...
