TYLER'S POINT OF VIEW

When we heard the voice, everyone looked at the door. There was a lady, she looked professional and she had a medium body type neither fat nor thin. Although she looked professional and formal she looked beautiful. She was the most beautiful lady present here. I felt as if I had seen her but failed to recognize. But still I stood and spoke, "Hello lady, I guess you are in the wrong room." She replied, "I am in the correct room." Just then Alice got and spoke, "Sarah". What! Sarah! I felt embarrassed by my question. And few questions killed me inside, 'How did she change so much?' She looked more beautiful than Tanie. 'Where are those big spectacles?' ‘Was she beautiful like this before too?’

ALICE'S POINT OF VIEW

I recognized her as soon as I saw her. I went to hug her and then we sat. There was a moment of silence until she spoke, "Congratulations Tanie and Tyler. You both suit each other very well." I was kind of surprised because she said those words, because I knew she liked Tyler even after we graduated from school. Everyone remembered congratulating them and did so.

Tanie said," I think you are doing somewhat fine. Don't worry about money today it's my treat. Enjoy yourself." She smiled and said, "Sure." I could not understand her. She had a smile I had never seen. Again, Tanie spoke, "Well, as you know we are going to get married, and you finally showed up in the reunion, you can come to our wedding." Sarah smiled and said, "Sure, if you held one, I will come." I do not know why but there were no one else speaking. Most of them actually boys were looking at Sarah. And some of them especially girls were looking back and forth between Sarah and Tyler waiting for more drama. Tanie asked her again, "So, what have you been doing? Many of us here has jobs. Are you working or you are a housewife? We all here are working hard." I don’t know why but I felt her question funny because in the room she was the one who looked professional and equally gorgeous.

SARAH'S POINT OF VIEW

Just before I spoke, the manager came and spoke excitedly, "Attorney Watson, so great to see you here. Why did you not tell me beforehand that you were coming? I would have prepared a nice room for you and some good services. Anyways I hope you are enjoying your time here. If you need anything, just order. Your wish is my command." I did not know how he knew, I was there. But still, I answered him, "Oh, Mr. White glad to see you. Actually today it's our reunion, so I did not want to bother you. I am enjoying my time here. Thank you for your concern."

He ordered a waiter and brought two bottles of expensive wines, and said, "Let me do this much at least." I did not want the conversation to go too long, so I accepted it. "Thank you, Mr. White." One of my classmates spoke in middle “but we have to drive so no drinks today”. I returned the bottles of wine to him and thanked him again. He said, "Okay, then I will send some soft drinks and take my leave now. I just came because I came to know you are here. Have a great time dear." He left. Just because of our conversation the room was silent.

Kyle spoke, "Sarah, how do you know him? He... he is not the general manager we know. Those wines were also expensive. And wait you are an attorney?" Everyone had a questioning look on their face. I answered, "Yes, I am an attorney. I just knew him through a case." Kyle asked again, "Why is he respecting you so much then?" Tanie spoke in the middle, "Ha-ha, so you are an attorney. Just tell us if you are not earning well, we will help you with money." I ignored her. No one was responding anything because maybe no one knew what to talk about and they were just enjoying the free drinks with delicious foods and our drama.

I stood up and said to everyone, “Well, I would like to take a leave now. Have a good time everyone. Alice, can you also leave early?” I nodded and we took our bags and before we went out, Kyle stopped us, “Sarah, Wait…” We turned around and he said, “It has been a long time since you joined us, why don’t we go somewhere else then? We are already done here.” Everyone accepted his request and pleaded us.

I looked at Alice and agreed to them because I thought Alice would want to enjoy for more time. They looked happy, unbelievably except a few faces. Kyle spoke again, “So, where do we go next?”

Someone said, “How about karaoke?”

“How about some beer and chicken?”

“That’s a good idea but what about how we return home after getting drunk.”

“We can just take a cab.”

Everyone agreed and I had no other choice. Tanie paid the bill and everyone cheered, well obviously except Alice and Kyle, I just smiled. We walked out but Alice and I were the last ones.

When we were walking, I felt a little awkward and I was sorry because I did not contact Alice after that day. I regretted quarrelling with her but I could not talk to her. She had only done those because she cared for me. So, when I saw the message of the reunion, I decided to join just to meet her.

I stopped and apologized her first, “Alice, I am really sorry, I should not have quarreled with you like that.” I looked at her and she said, “No, actually, I should have asked you first. It was my mistake. I am sorry." I laughed and said, "Okay, we both are sorry to each other." I knew if that continued it would not end, so I ended the apologizing part after all no sorry in friendship. We hugged each other and walked again.

We were too late because we walked slowly and also we talked. She asked, “What had you been doing?” I replied her, “How about we meet tomorrow at our old favorite snack place and fill each other about everything we missed. Because it will be a long story maybe…” We both laughed.

When we reached the parking lot, everyone were waiting for us and looked confused. Tanie spoke, “Why are you guys here? We have no empty space in the bikes left. You guys should take a cab maybe.”

Kyle said, “We can figure it out. Why don’t you stop speaking something rude!”

Tyler said, “Yes but Tanie’s right, they should have taken a cab instead of coming down to the parking lot to waste time.”

All of them started discussing without each other. I laughed and it was so funny that the laughter went loud maybe that everyone looked at me shocked.

I controlled it and asked, “Well, we do not know the address. Where are we going?”

A guy from the class came forward and said, “Sarah, how about you come with me? Kyle and Alice can come in the cab.”

Tanie cut me in and said the address to me and said to others, “Well the problem is solved. We can get going.”

I said, “I am fine with her and I guess I am not dressed comfortably for bike.”

“Okay we will meet you there then.” I smiled and took Alice’s hand and walked forward.
