Just because I liked you

I said again with a smile, “Everyone I am sorry but I want to steal Tanie from you all for a few minutes.” Tanie laughed and said, “Why don't you tell in front of everyone? We all here are friends.” I answered her, “No, it is something private.” Tyler stood up and said, "It's okay Tanie, I will join you.” I laughed at his response “Sure if you want to. I am not going to eat her alive anyway.”

We headed to the balcony that was attached. Alice followed us. Just when we reached, Tanie spoke, “What is it? Tell me fast. I do not want to waste my time wit...” “Snap” I slapped her. I did not want to hear any nonsense anymore. Just by my slap she fell down. Tyler came forward. Before he spoke, I said, “Don't worry, I will not kill her, I was just settling my unfinished business that you stopped before. I also have to talk to you.”

I took out my phone and played the video. In the past, I had feelings for Tyler, but now I did not care. So, I let him see the video. It was deleted from my mobile but I had saved that in my account because I could not forget that incident and the video made me strong each day although I was hurt in the beginning.

Tanie was on the floor crying. I had slapped her very hard indeed. I said, “I didn't want to even talk to such a low person like you. But I had to settle everything. I am just so much ashamed because you are my classmate. I just settled my unfinished business, I am not punishing you because you know right, if we throw a stone on the mud it will splash back on us. So, you are not worth my time. And yes, if you ever think of meddling with me again, I will handle you according to law and it will just do bad, wait not bad, worse for you.”

I looked at Tyler. He was already in shock with his eyes fixed on the cellphone. Tanie crawled and said, “Tyler don't believe that video. That is not me. I did not bully her.” Well, because she was panicking she told the truth by herself. I approached Tyler, took my phone from him and he spoke, “Tanie, how can you say that this video was of bully? Sarah, I..." I slapped him and said, “Just because I liked you, I had to go through so much even when I was the victim.” I already had tears in my eyes, I let it flow and slapped him again and said, “Just because of you.” I wiped my tears and slapped him one more time, he was standing like a slapping bag accepting everything I was doing to him, “That day, you… I was there where you called me. You were an hour late but still I waited. I... I...” I turned around and wiped my tears away, took a deep breath, and again faced him, “It was my biggest mistake in my life that I had feelings for you. I never want to see you again in my whole life.”

ALICE'S POINT OF VIEW

While I saw today’s part of Sarah and in the balcony too, it was unbelievable. Sarah had changed. After observing it I understood one thing, she was not the same Sarah who would endure everything. She looked at me and before both of us went inside the room, “Ahh…” Tanie threw the small vase at Sarah’s back and screamed, “Sl*t…” The vase fell down and broke into pieces. She looked back at her and surprisingly she smiled. The more shocking thing was that she maintained her expression very well as if nothing had happened. We went back in and the atmosphere inside was almost silent. Sarah took a card from her purse and went back to the balcony leaving the door opened. She threw the card at her face and said, “You might need it.”

In the balcony:

Tanie was still on the floor. Tyler looked at her with disgust and said, “I can't believe that you were the one who fooled me all these years. I am ashamed of myself because I liked you. It's over Tanie, it's over between us.” Tanie grabbed his leg and cried, “Please don't do this, please Tyler. I love you and I just want you. You cannot leave me.” Tyler took out his ring and threw to Tanie and said, “I am so disgusted by you, actually not you but myself that I trusted you and did all those bad things to Sarah. I do not want to see your face ever again.” Tyler went in the room.

Tanie was yelling at him, "You... you cannot live without me. You will come back to me. You do not have any rights to leave me."

All left one by one leaving Tanie alone. Kyle also left because their relation as siblings were already broken by her. We went down and we met Mr. Clinton exactly out of the elevator. He smiled at me and said, “Well sad to know, it ended fast. I was just heading there. I will send someone to drop you.”

I smiled at him and said, “Thank you for today.” “Umm… and yes Mr. Clinton I am sorry for the loss of one of your precious babies. I will not mind if you charge the woman up there for the loss. It ended up dying as a weapon at me anyways. Ah yes, you know whom to come at if you want to charge some serious charges.”

He had a little serious face from before but laughed at my last sentence and said, “Yes, Mr. Wellington of course… I guess he will be more furious than me if he hears this.”

He went up with his bodyguards after we bid each other goodbyes.

We went out and all of them looked at me surprised. I said, “I had warned you all at the beginning to be careful of ceramics right.” Alice said, “Yes and I guess I am glad that I was careful enough.”

It was only me who laughed because she said it in such a funny manner. I stopped because no one else did. Everyone was waiting for the cabs and a black and shiny expensive car came and stopped in front of us.

A person who sat at front came out and opened the door. I recognized him because he was Mr. Clinton’s bodyguard. I looked at Alice and said, “Let’s go.” She said, “I actually have to go opposite direction so you should get going.” I said, “I can drop you.” She denied so I said, “Okay I will pick you up at 4 p.m. tomorrow then.” She nodded and I bid my farewells to other and sat in the car and went.
