JOHN'S POINT OF VIEW

Just before an hour, I got the news about the lady. I told boss about her. I also said that the guy was not an ordinary person but the heir of OMC Group. As usual he didn't give any reaction for the guy but he looked somewhat relieved when he heard that she was fine. He warned me telling that Mia should be more careful and alert. I was dismissed after that. I was thankful that his anger calmed down otherwise I thought it was my last day. I just was confused because I didn't know whether he liked that lady or he was waiting for a special opportunity to take revenge on her.

SARAH'S POINT OF VIEW

After that day, we were the same as before. We even started getting more successful. I started a law firm and Andrew also helped me. I won him in 2 cases and he won me in a case altogether in one year. Whatever the situation, we were happy because we knew that the truth won. We celebrated when we had victory. The only case I lost was with him. He was getting famous as a prosecutor whereas I became more famous than him. I also became the most expensive lawyer and the one who rarely lost any case that I took. People viewed me as a rude and merciless person also because I was never kind even to the one whom I would defend. But, I never cared what people said.

In my law firm, I had hired 3 more lawyers and one intern also. The lawyers were good but not near to my level. We had a receptionist and a helper too. As I was also getting a little rich, just because Andrew forced me, I bought a flat and Andrew bought one below mine. I had a kitchen, a bedroom and attached bathroom, an office, another washroom, and a guest room and a lobby. I stayed alone in that whole flat.

Andrew also came to my law firm so many times that even the people of my law firm got friendly with him. The people in the firm even asked us if we were a couple, as he was always with me and he even called me 'lovey'. But I made them clear that we were just best friends. One day, Andrew called me and said me that he wanted to introduce me to someone so to wait for him in the cafe opposite to my law firm. I went to the cafe and saw a beautiful lady sitting next to Andrew. He waved at me after he saw me. I thought that my best friend finally got a girlfriend. I was feeling happy that I had a big smile on my face.

I approached them and I said, "Hello, I am Sarah." to that lady and forwarded my hand for a handshake. She took my hand and shook my hand. Her hands were really soft. She was so beautiful. She was in a formal dress. She said, "Hi, I am Nancy." I sat opposite to them. I looked at Andrew for more introduction. But I could not wait so I asked myself, "Are you his girlfriend?" Surprisingly we spoke the same words at the same time. We all became awkward and laughed.

She said, "This crazy guy is my little brother." I laughed and Andrew looked at Nancy and said, "I... am... not... a… crazy... guy..." We both laughed at how Andrew told each word. I also introduced myself to her, "This crazy guy is my best friend." Andrew just looked at me and smiled. Nancy said, "Looks like Sarah is more important to you than me looking how you told me that you are not crazy when I told you and when she's telling you crazy you are just smiling like a fool!" I felt awkward by what she said. Andrew said to her in a teasing manner, "So what, are you jealous?"

She laughed and said, "Why would I? Actually it's good to hear that you have such a pretty best friend. I also like it because atleast there is someone who made you use our family's wealth for the first time personally." I was confused so I asked, "First time?" Andrew looked uncomfortable and said, "Why are you speaking useless things? You wanted to meet her so finally you have met her. You should thank me." Andrew changed the topic.

We talked and had delicious pastries and parted. Before parting, when Andrew went to the washroom, Nancy said, "Actually I wanted to thank you for being with my brother for these years. He never liked using our wealth and it was the first time he used all the security sources he could use when you got kidnapped. So, I wanted to meet you to see who that special person in his life is. If you have any problems in future then feel free to contact me. As you are his best friend, you are like a sister to me too. So, don't hesitate to ask for my help in future."

I just smiled and said, "Thank you." But deep inside I was angry at myself because I was so angry at Andrew when he had tried so hard just to protect me when I was kidnapped. We finally parted. The next day, I got a gift from Nancy and it was a car. I could not deny it because she sent a message that it was a thank you gift from her side.

All these years, I had many ups and downs in my life but I was glad to have a friend like Andrew who was with me in those ups and downs. I could never forget his kindness and his help and his friendship for my entire life. I was grateful. I felt, I was lucky that although I did not have many friends, the few friends I had were really precious and they really cared for me.
