“Louis….”

Ring... Ring…

I suddenly woke up as my phone rang and it was a really bad dream that I was crying in real also. I picked up the phone and “Surprise. Guess where I am?” It was Louis. I did not even see who was calling and picked up the call. He said, “I am down of your apartment.” After hearing this much, I just ran downwards throwing my phone on the bed. I saw him and ran towards him and hugged him.

LOUIS’S POINT OF VIEW

I wanted to surprise her so I went to meet her so early and when I called her she even did not reply. I thought she was sleeping. So, I just was going to leave when I felt someone hugging me from back. I was startled. I rotated and Sarah was hugging me. She started crying. I did not know what to do so I just patted her in her back slowly comforting her. I asked, “What happened?” She parted and I wiped her tears and she said, “Louis…”

I looked at her in her eyes and said, “Yes, tell me what happened.” She said, “Louis, promise me you will never leave me alone. Whatever happens you will always be there with me.” I was just surprised instead because I was not aware of what was happening. So, I grabbed her arms and promised her and asked again, “Now, tell me, what happened?” I took her inside the car and gave her a bottle of water and she drank and said, “I… I saw you left me. You said that I don’t deserve you. You left me.”

Her tears started flowing again. So, I wiped her tears and grabbed her hands tightly and reassured her that I will never leave her no matter what. I said her, “Did you see all that in your dream?” She nodded and I said, “Forget about it, it was just a bad dream. Look I am here with you and will always be with you. And no one in the world deserves me if it is not you. In this whole world you are the only one who deserves me. Actually you deserve better person than me.”

She cried again and said, “Are you going to leave me? I don’t need anyone else. Please don’t say that and don’t leave me, please… please…” I hugged her and I knew that I had to take that thing out of her mind so I asked, “Do you want to eat ice cream?” She nodded her head and I teased her, “Will you like to go out like that?” She suddenly realized her clothes and surprisingly she covered herself.

SARAH’S POINT OF VIEW

I forgot that I was in my night wear and most embarrassing thing was I had not worn anything inside. ‘Oh god… I came like this in front of him… oh my god… I even… I even hugged him like this…. this is so embarrassing … what should I do now… oh no...’ I was thinking in my head and he said, “Sarah… Sarah...” He poked me on my arm and I was startled and he asked, “What happened? Where have you lost?” I did not know what to say but I had to go out also. So, I said in a very low voice, “I… have not… worn… anything inside.”

It seemed like he did not hear what I told so he asked, “What? What did you say? I did not hear.” I shut my eyes and said the words clearly. I opened my eyes and I felt my face being hot and I saw that Louis was like he was really shocked. His cheeks were also getting reddish.

LOUIS: ‘What… oh my god… I mean… what she said… how could she… what should I do now… I was thinking and I calmed myself and looked at her and she was also looking at me. I could not even open my shirt and give to her as it was the only cloth on me also.’

I was looking at him and he suddenly poked his head back and took a shawl and passed it to me and went outside. I covered myself but still I was uncomfortable and he opened the door of my side and carried me. I was so shocked I said, “What are you doing? Put me down. There are people who are seeing.” He said, “Exactly, there are people seeing. I will take you to elevator.”

We reached the elevator and he kept me down and suddenly another man also entered the elevator and he covered me from his body. We soon reached my floor and I walked his back and he was at my front. As soon as we entered my apartment, I ran towards my room and told him that he should wait and also I thanked him even without looking at him. I soon changed my attire and went outside in the lobby. I felt a little awkward after all that but he seemed to know how to change the mood so he said, “I don’t think so we should eat ice cream so early. Why don’t we drink something warm here only?”

I said, “Yes, tell me what mood are you in? Tea or coffee?” He said that he wanted coffee so I said him to sit there and I made two coffees and gave him one. We talked and after the mood was fresh and happy, I asked, “Why did you come so early?” He replied, “I wanted to surprise you and have a walk and talk with you but instead you surprised me. Anyways I guess now you should get ready to go to your firm. I will wait for you and let’s go out together and have breakfast and go to our own works.” I said, “Okay… but it will take me time because I need to take a shower also.” He said he will wait. After I became ready, we went to eat breakfast and after that we went to our own jobs.
