I woke up lying in bed.
Tyler was lying next to me with his arms wrapped around me.
To be honest, I didn't even know how I got into bed.
When Tyler and I got back to our quarters, Tyler made us both a cup of tea and we sat on the sofa for quite some time. So I guess I fell asleep then and then Tyler put me to bed.
But now I didn't feel good at all. I felt like I was getting a headache and my stomach was pounding.
When I moved a little bit, I also noticed that I urgently needed to go to the bathroom.
I hurriedly freed myself from Tyler's arms, which was surprisingly easy, and quickly ran to the toilet in the bathroom.
I sat on the toilet and was pretty much exhausted. For some reason I had quite a bit of diarrhea. On top of that I felt pretty weak and cold Switzerland covered my back.
I felt pretty uncomfortable and wanted to go back to bed, but I felt pretty weak and my stomach was still rumbling uncomfortably.
"Lily!", I heard Tyler's voice from the bedroom.
Only now did I realize that in my rush I had forgotten to close the bathroom door completely.
You didn't see me at first glance, but it was already there a crack open.
Not a moment later he was already in the door.
I looked away from him ashamed.
Why did he just come into the bathroom?
"Hey Lily, are you not feeling well? You're quite pale."
Ignoring my embarrassed reaction, he entered the bathroom and walked toward me.
He put his hand on my forehead with a worried look.
"I think you have a fever. Anyway, you're definitely too warm for a human."
He took my hands in his. But I just wish he would just leave me alone right now. After all, I wasn't sitting on the toilet.
"I'd best put you back to bed and let Luke come and take a look at you. Or would you rather be taken straight to the office?"
I shook my head, didn't want either of them, I just wanted Tyler to leave me alone right now. Oh man, was that embarrassing. I was naked downstairs, still sitting on the toilet.
But Tyler must have misunderstood me
. "Okay, then I'll put you to bed." He just said, while I just looked at him in shock and still embarrassed.
But he didn't care about that at all.
I actually wanted to fend him off, but I just didn't have the strength.
My embarrassment only increased because I hadn't even managed to clean myself before he came, and he did it in my place.
He also put my things back on and finally carried me back to bed.
With a still worried look, he covered me up and stroked my forehead again.
"I'll be right back, don't worry," he said quietly and was gone shortly afterwards.
My face still felt warm and I was probably still quite red with anger.
It wasn't even two minutes before Tyler was back with one of the twins, presumably Luke.
He also looked concerned and immediately began to examine me. He asked me a few more questions, which luckily I could only answer with a nod or a shake of the head.
He finally came to the conclusion that I might have a gastrointestinal illness, although he still couldn't really explain the cause, but promised Tyler that he would find out and gave him tips so that I would get better soon.
When Luke was gone, Tyler sat on the bed next to me and took my hand.
"Don't worry, you'll feel better soon..."
Tyler really made an effort with me even when I wasn't quite all right.
On Luke's advice, he made me some herbal tea, which he gradually gave me to drink.
I wasn't even allowed to hold the cup myself.
Whenever I had to go to the toilet, he carried me there and, despite my silent protests, stayed there until I was done, only to put me back to bed immediately afterwards.
He even made me some soup, although I actually assumed that he couldn't cook at all. But despite my concerns, the soup was edible. According to my taste buds, there were no spices whatsoever, but the vegetables were cooked through.
But maybe it was also because of my illness, which I had caught and still didn't know what I actually had now.
Right now Tyler was in bed next to me.
He had already poured me what felt like a liter of tea, in addition to the soup.
Tyler was still eyeing me with concern and ran a hand through my hair as if to comfort me.
With every slightest movement or stirring on my part, he always tried to find out what I had and why I was doing something.
He would probably prefer it if I just lay there and get well quickly.
And that's exactly what I wished for.
I was feeling a little better than this morning. Although I wasn't feeling well, I finally wanted to get out of bed to get some fresh air, but I couldn't really tell Tyler because the pen and paper were in the living room and therefore out of reach for me right now.
There was a knock, just loud enough for me to hear.
Tyler was straight to his feet, but seemed to hesitate briefly whether he should stand by the door or whether he should rather stay here with me.
There was another knock at the door.
This now seemed to make Tyler decide to go to the door after all.
I, on the other hand, took advantage of the moment and sat up.
After all day in bed I just couldn't stay in bed any longer.
I was only just sitting up when Tyler came back into the room, accompanied by a twin, and didn't look at all pleased that I had moved in his absence.
"Lily! You're supposed to lie down and rest so that you feel better quickly.", he grumbled with me and almost sounded like my sister Maria. Only
that she didn't forbid me to sit down and it was more about me rest and not gymnastics
"Lily, are you feeling a little better?" asked the twin, who I assumed was Luke, ignoring Tyler's gripes.
I nodded slightly.
After all, I wasn't feeling so bad anymore.
Which was probably also due to the tea and the soup.
"That's good," said the twin: "I've probably found out by now why you're feeling so bad. That has to do with the crickets yesterday. On the plate on which the beta's mate brought you food , was previously raw chicken.
I'm assuming Samonella, which was most likely on the raw meat, stayed on the plate and then got to the grilled chicken you ate. But
since you were otherwise healthy, it should be in a be fine on its own in a few days, but if it gets worse I'll have to start taking medication."
,, Do you mean rather Luke that it will be something again by itself? I don't know about humans, but that doesn't happen with us werewolves either. I don't want her to get any worse." "
Don't worry Tyler, she hasn't gotten it that bad or I'd get some meds, but the antibiotics, which I'd take if things get worse, bring the balance of bacteria in the body of the people mixed up quite well and therefore I would rather leave it out."
