The woman loomed up in front of us.
"Make sure Tyler does the right thing," the woman growled at Lily.
"He's doing the right thing."
"Oh how cute. You can speak against it. Didn't really believe it. In any case, you're no longer a disgrace to the family."
Briefly her gaze wandered to me.
She seemed a bit irritated, but then wrinkled her nose.
"Even if I honestly really can't understand your choice of entourage. You'd better seek more contact with born werewolves. Then you would also know much better what the moral standard would be among us and why I am right."
"Oh crazy thing. Didn't Tyler grow up almost exclusively with werewolves and still disagree with you?"
The woman only growled even more aggressively after these words.
And to be honest, I only understood Station.
We was this woman that Lily obviously knew and what was this all about "
Lily stayed pretty calm during the whole affair, which was probably a good thing, because otherwise the whole thing would have escalated long ago. "
What a horrible Luna you are! You should kindly respect me. After all, I've been Luna longer than you're even alive."
"I am way above you as a companion to Tyler, who acts as the alpha and has control over everyone else."
"You take yourself far too seriously, you stupid brat," she growled.
The sound of breaking bones sounded and I watched in complete shock as this woman became a wolf.
But Lily didn't take long to ask either.
She walked I was also turning into a wolf.
And I just stood there and couldn't move for the life of me.
Despite my horror, I realized one thing very clearly. Lily's transformation took, albeit minimally, longer than the other woman's.
So did she immediately to my advantage and charged at them just as Lily had completely transformed.I
watched petrified as the two wolves rolled across the ground growling, snapping and whining.
But it was obvious that the wolf Lily had transformed into was inferior to the other wolf and her strength.
So it didn't take long until this Lily had pressed on both of them and loomed menacingly over them.
But I noticed something else besides the bared tames of both of them. The woman was standing with one of her huge paws right on Lily's wolf's belly and the claws dug into the skin.
Before I could even think about it, I grabbed a 30 centimeter long stick and threw it at the stranger's head.
It didn't take me a second to realize it was the dumbest thing I could have done.
The wolf let go of Lily, but turned to me.
Before I could even close my eyes, she lunged at me and threw me onto the floor.
Everything hurt, but the she-wolf that was getting closer and closer to my throat was a much bigger problem.
The moment I thought she was going to kill me once and for all, I thought I'd see my family one last time.
Would you see her again in death? Hopefully.
I could almost feel the beast's teeth on my neck. She seemed to be enjoying it, and the lust for murder sparkled in those cruel eyes.
At the very last moment before the monster could close its jaws, one more thing happened.
Another wolf came running from the side and tore the wolf off me at the last second.
Completely on my nerves, I allowed myself to close my eyes for a brief moment.
But only the images shot through my head what just happened.
Exhausted, I opened my eyes and tried to sit up as best I could in pain.
A little to the right on the ground was Lily, completely motionless save for her breath.
On the left, a dark wolf had taken the woman under violence, who was lying under him with flattened ears, but in contrast to this no longer growled.
This wolf, who obviously saved my life, had a really fierce charisma.
His growl made me terrified, even knowing it wasn't me.
To be honest, I didn't know where from, but I was relatively sure of knowing when I had that in front of me.
"Tyler," I said, my voice sounding like I'd just run a marathon.
I kept gasping for breath, almost hyperventilating.
The wolf had definitely heard me, since he clearly put one of his ears in My direction turned.
With what felt like the last of my strength that I could gather together, I managed to get three words out of my mouth: "Lily - babies - belly."
Without being able to wait for a reaction from him, the arm I was leaning on buckled again.
With a painful "Oof" I landed back on my back.
My breath was literally flying while I could only close my eyes.
Almost at the same moment, a terribly loud wolf howl sounded, presumably from Tyler.
In the first moment I thought I had to go thumbs numb, but soon after that I only heard other wolves howling further away from us. Soon thereafter came the trotting sound of dozens, if not hundreds, of paws getting closer and closer.
When I opened my eyes again, there were an unbelievable number of wolves around us.
I heard a crack and heard footsteps running from left to right.
"Oh jeh Lily!"
Again you could hear a crack and this time a painful moan from a woman.
"All right Tyler. I'm just a little dazed and have a few scratches. Without her it would have been far worse.
How is she?"
Something next to me nudged me.
Blinking, I caught another wolf compared to the other small ones.
Softly, the wolf whined in the direction of Tyler and Lily.
"Where the hell is Jared!" , Tyler cursed.
Another wolf just turned back.
"Alpha, the Beta is just on the other side of the territory checking the sentries. But he will obviously be on his way back when the signal is given."
Fast footsteps approached.
"Damn it!", I heard a familiar voice curse.
Sliding on the leaves, a person stopped next to me.
"Hey.", the voice said softly next to my head and caressed my cheek.
"Please take a look at me."
I opened my eyes with an effort and saw myself face to face with Luke.
"Are you in pain?", he asked me worried.
"Head... back.", I brought out with effort.
"Okay, all good. I'll take a look at that.", he said and called: "Patrick?" in another direction.
"Take care of your companion. I'm looking at the Luna.", answered another voice.
"Get my mother away from here, too, kindly. And bring my father here, kindly.
The two will definitely not get away with it. My mother in particular has clearly crossed a line and the two of them will have to answer for it."
Several cracks sounded.
"Tyler, please let me explain.", the woman, who was probably really his mother, called.
"Get her out of my sight! I don't want to see her for the next few hours!"
