Big bash

I was loaded with paperwork. Being an Alpha is not a fool's job. I sure have help from my people, but it is still very tough. I'm neck-deep in them but not being able to concentrate was the major issue for me. My mate lives in my tribe now and that was a major issue. If she lived somewhere else I could have at least pretend to not care. When she lived next to me it was a whole different thing. One thing I could do was to ignore the whole wolf cry that was going inside but that could mean serious consequences. Like being crazy could be one of the outcomes. I shouldn't care because I have already decided to challenge the moon goddess but she is making it quite tough for me. I imagine myself and the moon goddess playing a game of chess and it was just as ridiculous as I thought.

There was a sudden knock at the door which took me off-guard which hadn't happened before. I order my Beta to come in but not before pinching my nose. "Where have you been Tony you stink man", I said. " Well you hear what I have to say, the stinky me is going to be the least of your problems", he smirked. "Out with it and go take a bath ", I mumbled. I didn't know more time was going to be on my list thanks to him. I have to listen to him babble. Life goes tiring time and time again. " Our entire tribe is afraid for their life now that you have brought your mate back into your life, they are going to do something bizarre to stop it from happening." He finished with a dramatic pause. I motioned him to continue and that was all the encouragement he needed. "You won't believe what they are planning to stop you from doing that," he explained dramatically. I sighed out loudly. "Come on, take a guess,'' he said. " An uprising", I said distractedly. He laughed in response and said," No it is worse than that they are going to do a hunger strike", he said. "What the fuck"?, I hollered. He smiled like an idiot.

I was so tired of doing this over and over again. When it comes to her it has always been her and them. I was always forced to pick sides. When I chose not to, everything was in chaos. Is it going to happen again? Will I be powerful enough to stop it? What can I do to protect them and her? Protect her from what herself? I have been a fool before trusting her has always been a mistake. Every time I trusted her I have paid with blood. I'm not a fan of going through that trauma once again. I choose not to repeat every mistake I have made before. I now have to stick with that. And I will win this time. Not even my mate could change my mind.

" I want you to call everyone for a party. There is going to be great music, dance and some great food", I said smilingly. "Your people are going to do a hunger strike, you are throwing a party. Well, you are an excellent competitor for Nero", he said confused. " Trust me I know what I am doing"? , I said. "I think you are going to have menage if I'm correct. I know something between you and Annabeth is going on. Now your mate is here. You want to abandon all and enjoy and distract, people with a party seem to do the trick", he said. " You are correct my friend. I can't believe you have figured it out. Now get out of my face Tony", I said irritated. "I love you man", he said with a wink he disappeared.

I took my phone to call Nina my Secretary of course I have one. I'm an Alpha. I'm supposed to have one. She is a sweet girl who doesn't crush on me because she likes pussies too. I know I'm crude but it is the truth. It's an inclusive world. Some people are too stuck up to acknowledge that fact. My pack thanks to me was forward unlike many human communities I saw. " Hello Nina I want one beautiful dress to be sent to our guest and a special invitation for tonight's bash that will be all", I said. "Alright, sir. Is it too early to say congratulations, Sir? " she asked, polite and curious. "Come to the bash and say it yourself, Nina. Bring your girl as well", I said. I know she is dating some girl though I don't know her name. " I would like to thank you but we are not together anymore, she shifted and met her mate. They are both very happy", she said. "Then you can look for someone there, Nina", I said.

I didn't order myself anything, because I already own everything in the world. My people are my primary concern as always, if they are happy I'm. We don't pay any taxes, we are tribals so the government calls us. We think we are very modern in our heart. Many issues plaguing them have never been an issue among us. We always take care of each other. The government protects us also since they don't want us going to the cities, they provide us with anything we want. They consider us just as they care for wildlife. Protect when it's inside the cage and kill when it goes outside. There is no complete control over us. But I feel as if we are watched over. Weird but true. I keep my thoughts to myself. Many Alphas accept expensive bribes from government officials but I have never accepted anything, other than that. Secrecy is something both of us craved for ourselves.

I go outside to get some fresh air only to see Seb working on something. When he saw me he was surprised and smiled. " I felt happy that at least one of us didn't hate my decision. "Hey what are you doing?", I enquired. " Nothing, just an old piece of radio", he replied. He was a very good mechanic. His father was also one but unfortunately, we lost him to the war. "You are not joining in the strike", I asked him. " I don't think I need to, should I? Alpha?", he asked me back. " I know what he was saying, he never liked my mate and her back. They were both hateful, towards each other. She found him always degrading her. He found her as the cause of his father's death.

Though his father was killed in the middle of the fight he never forgave her for helping the intruders to enter our homes in the first place. There was no direct evidence but only whispers. It was only her first birth when I held her lifeless body. I thought that pain was the worst in the world but I didn't know I would have to go through that many times. I went under the shower fully clothed. I pulled my pants down, took out my dick and started shaking it painfully. My mind crept to my mate, as usual, her hair wet touching me there. It was hurting me but I continued. I allow her to envelop me in her arms in my imagination, my hands now getting tired. When I was released I felt no pleasure, just numbness. This I needed to do before doing something that no one ever did before in my tribe.

I pulled away from my wet clothes and put on fresh ones and walked towards the party area. The place was well-lit, everyone was dancing and having fun. The food on the other hand remains untouched, my people were stubborn like me, which I know very well. I saw Annabeth first when she was dancing with Sebastian. Brian with Tony both were looking awkward. I wanted to laugh. My parents are also there dancing and my mom is cursing my father for stepping into her toes. This is the place where I want to make my people happy no matter what I have to sacrifice. I quickly looked around to catch a glimpse of her, my mate Angela. She was nowhere to be seen. I got worried for a second but I saw her in a corner with a plate of food. It brought a smile to my face. I went near her and she was happily eating, not even acknowledging me.

"Hey, why are you ignoring me?"I asked her. " I'm not ignoring anyone. I'm enjoying my food", she says. "Ok. Did you like the party"? I interrogated her. " It's Ok. But the food is good" she said desperately. I knew she was uncomfortable, no one was even pretending to be nice to her. "I have to make an announcement. I will talk to you later" I said. "Hmm", she tells me, her face stuffed with food. I tried to picture her face like this happy and annoyed at me just as she was. I saw people watching us worry and hate towards her very clearly in their eyes. I took the stage and faced everyone and began," I'm extremely thankful to all who have come here. Before my family and friends, I would like to announce my engagement to my soulmate and future Luna. I want you to bless me and my future wife. Can you please come up" I ended my words?

Angela was looking at me with big eyes and everyone was looking towards her. She came forward slowly. I held my hands for her. She joined me.  Then Annabeth came after her. I also gave her my hand. I was standing with both women on either side. "Thanks, Angela for saving my life and sharing this stage for wishing me and my future wife Annabeth. Her draw of breath was very audible since everyone was practically holding theirs. Suddenly loud cheers came around and a wish poured in and my people went to get the food. I saw her walking away slowly with her head down making me regret what I had done.  I almost went towards her but one look back at my people and it made me stand wherever I was.

I saw my mom and dad coming to me," I can't believe you did this to her publically." She whispers shouted at me. "Relax mum, it's not like she's my girlfriend", I consoled her. " Cool it, darling, he knows what he is doing"? Said, my father. She sighed and said, " I hope you don't regret this decision", she said sadly.

I hugged her tightly and I thought I needed this so bad. I know my wolf was hurt and there will be hell to pay. "Marriage is in two weeks make sure you look your best I said to all and the answer was even a louder cheer.
