Wedding night

"I can't believe you just said that"? she said her voice high. She is not acting anymore I guess. She can't whisper to me anyway since we have the super hearing what's the point? She would have waited but I think she is too mad to care.

" Said what", I asked feigning indifference. "About wedding night you know-how it's going to be but still you have the nerve to flirt with me", she was seething. Heaven forbid I was turned on by that. Hell, she could be talking about murdering us and I would still be turned on by that. Fuck me pun intended.

" Why are you surprised? You should have expected this", I said casually. "Why because of your split personality disorder?", she asked. " Yea" I smiled at her without showing my teeth. "It's a forever war inside my head. Maybe I should see a therapist of your human world ", I said laughing. " Maybe you should", she said and turned on her heels putting much distance between us. I welcomed this at least I could think clearly without being befuddled by her presence.

"Can you tune it down coz everyone is hearing you guys? it's not a pleasant thing to know this is a sham of a marriage and is not going to last even one night. But I think it's just foreplay", she said biting back a smile. I looked at her surprised she had a knack for understanding things or maybe I was just obvious.

This was not the kind of marriage I had envisioned for me even if I thought if being married to Annabeth was going to be a marriage of convenience with certain perks in the bedroom if I got interested. But this was very different because I could never have an arrangement like that with my mate. It was going to be a real marriage for that bugger. I'm sure he is counting minutes for me to get along with her. Good luck with that buddy she will pull a gun over us before we tried anything.

I got disgusted with the level of her influence my wolf was getting from her. He will lay down his life for her and she will be happy with no less. This was a recipe for disaster my life was already complicated with her in our home how will I fare with her when she was in the same room. I'm sure my wolf has something planned for her involving me naked. The moon goddess has got the ultimate laugh out of this. I may now believe her existence because of my current situation since it was drama like never before.

" I guess the celebration ends now I'm tired and so are you. Go sleep it off", I commanded while receiving applause and suggestions for the wedding night. Her eyes nearly popped out. She might have thought that our tribe might not take this marriage seriously since they encountered our drama and her hatred towards me. But that doesn't mean that she wasn't going to sleep with me since she said a blood vow.

My people won't take that vow lightly it meant only one thing a baby for us and also them. Many childless couples stood before me their eyes contain no more despair but hopefulness. I'm sure they are thinking that now I have come in line with the moon goddess's wishes there is no reason for her to deprive them of babies. I only wish I was hopeful as them this marriage is nothing like what they want it to be or my wolf's desire. It has only one aim that is to keep her here till I learn what her plans are?

Mike is gone but there was Julio another enemy that I haven't anticipated. I don't know what I will do if these enemies discover each other or maybe unite for destroying me. I wasn't going down without a fight. It was exhausting I wish for at least one ally. I was alone I had to keep fighting no matter what the outcome was.

I walked over to where my mate was sulking and dragged her with me. There was a hoot of laughter following our trail. She kept trying to pull her arm away from me afraid that she was going to hurt herself I lifted her writhing body on my shoulder giving for another round of deep chuckles. One look at Lana conveyed to me this was a bad idea but I didn't care.

When I reached my door I opened it and unceremoniously dumped my newly wedded wife into the marriage bed. "This was not part of any agreement I deny to be your brooding mare get away from me", she said her voice tight. I took a deep breath and said," Even I'm not interested in you ", lying through my teeth.

"Then get out of here, she said her hands on hips. I was mildly distracted by her posture. She reminded me of our previous lives how she used to fight with me all the time resting her hands on hips. But we have come a long way since then. Now I could never think back fondly at them. what I encountered whenever I take down the memory lane was lies and. deceit. She always made me believe that she cared for me more than anyone but it was a lie. I was an idiot for falling for same lies over and over.

"However there is one small problem. Since we took a blood vow my family expects me to follow them. It's kind of a promise to the moon Goddess that I will take care of this person forever. And also my family believes that if we consummate our wedding there is a chance that they will all conceive. In short I don't want to hurt them but don't worry I'm not going to pounce on you. I will let them believe that I gave this a chance. Who knows maybe they will get something positive out of our fake wedding night, I told her.
