Chapter 10
Anna’s POV
“What the hell is that?” I said feeling very possessive all of a sudden, but possessive of what?, I couldn’t say, all I know is that I need to go, and I need to go right now. I started running my wolf with her animal instinct took over and she knew which direction to take me, I let her take the lead, I have no idea where I am going but I know I have to get there now, I don’t have a moment to waste…I flung the door open, having no idea who lives here or why I was drawn to this place. My vision was blurry from the adrenalin once I focused I saw two figures one sitting on the couch and the other at the counter in the kitchen…
“Aiden why are you here, and who is this?”
The girl walked towards me and held her hand out to me
“I’m Tina, I’m Aiden’s saving grace, nice to meet you”. I wanted to bite that smirk right off and wipe that smug smile off her face, as though he could hear my thoughts Aiden quickly ran over to my side
“Scar…this is one of the students who needed a consultation, you know I’m a TA right, so naturally as a TA I make house calls and I wasn’t feeling like myself today, so she came here instead” he said with a forced chuckle,
“If you are not feeling well why is she here then?”
“Well, you know students never listen” he said guiding her towards the door
“once they get an idea in their head there is little you can do to change it” he opened the door and pushed her out.
“But why do I have to go?” she said pouting
“Get out” my wolf and I shouted in unison; Aiden quickly closed the door then quickly rushed to the kitchen
“Coffee” he offered with a smile.
“You, don’t you dare give me that look, how dare you let her in here, TELL ME WHY!” his face was one of confusion and pure happiness at the same time, he looked at me and cleared his throat
“Do you want to be the only one I let in here, hm?” he said raising his eyebrows playfully.
Suddenly all my fury and frustration went away, and this huge gust of embarrassment came over me, why did I do that? What came over me? I had a lot of questions but no answers.
“Coffee” he offered again, and I jumped realising that he was standing right in front of me now, and I was so intrenched in my thoughts that I didn’t realise that he had moved from the counter.
“Yes, thank you” I said taking the cup from him.
“Come to think of it I haven’t eaten since morning, would you like to join me for dinner?” Not wanting to look more like a fool than I felt I nodded in agreement.
