“What are you talking about?” the Alpha boomed

“I will never forget that face, you told me to run and never look back, I was so scared that I just did it, I turned, and I ran” she sobbed “I heard his screams, but I still ran, to this day that night haunts me, I will never forget that face” she pointed her finger at me with tears streaming down her face, her eyes wide with grief and her lips quivering

“what did you do to him?” she pounced, plunging herself in the water launching herself at me “where is he, what did you do to him?” she growled, her hands turned to her wolf’s paws and she scratched, clawing at me in the face and the chest

“why him? you bastard, where is he, what did you do to him?” I grimaced holding her hands above her head

“I don’t know what you are talking about” I growled trying to get her off me, but she was too frantic wiggling, kicking, and shoving uncontrollably

“Enough!” the Alpha boomed, and the two men dressed like hikers pulled her off me

“Thank you” I hissed; the water stung when it met the scratches

“Take him to the cells” the Alpha barked, and the hikers dragged me out of the water

“What is the meaning of this? I told you it wasn’t me; you really think that I’m that stupid to commit a crime and then come back here?” I growled wiggling trying to release myself from their grip, Reni growled trying to break through the barrier and take over

‘No don’t’ I hissed at him

‘We can’t just let them do this’ he barked back at me

‘we are outnumbered by a lot, stay calm I will figure a way out of this’

“I’m afraid we can’t let you go until a full investigation has been lodged”

“I’m telling you I’m not your guy” I pleaded

“You have to admit how strange this is, I mean wolves disappearing left and right and all of a sudden you show up out of nowhere and the one person who knows what you look like ID’s you” he wrapped a towel around himself and walked towards me

“Alpha to Alpha, I give you my word” I said through clenched teeth

“I want to believe you Alpha Braveheart, but I can’t simply ignore all the evidence presented here today, Alpha to Alpha, you must understand the position I’m in here”

“You can’t keep me here; I have to find my mate” I growled

“And I have to protect my Pack” he snapped his fingers and they dragged me away, the cell door screeched open, and they chained my hands and feet to the wall stretching me out on either side

“Can you at least get me some clothes” I sighed frustrated by how ridiculous this whole situation is

“Prisoners don’t make demands” he sneered, I growled softly to myself yanking at my chains wanting to rip them apart

“Easy master, our moment will come” Reni hissed, and I could tell he was as furious as I was

“Fine” I growled through clenched teeth, the cell door clinked as they closed and locked it, they walked down the hall laughing hysterically

Scarlett’s POV

The morning light pierced my eyes forcing them open, my eyes focused and I saw wood everywhere, the walls were wooden the bed was wooden, and the closet was also made of wood, the only thing that was not wood in here was the bedding

“Oh no, how did I come back here?” I gasped seeing the same room I had woken up from last time

“How do you feel, are you alright?” I screeched and spun around facing the door

“Oh, my goodness Xavier you scared me” I held my hand to my heart breathing deeply

“I scared you?!” he boomed the chair bagged against the wall as he got up, his angry footsteps echoed in the room as he marched towards me, his red eyes glaring at me the furry in them sending a fear that I’ve never felt before racing down my spine making me jump back and hit my head against the headboard, he writhed his anger taking him over.

He jumped on the bed knelt down and took my shoulders in his hands “stop it, stop being reckless” he growled shaking me furiously

“Ouch, you’re hurting me” I squirmed under the pain, his eyes darkened, and his grip tightened

“Do you have any idea how scared I was when I found you lying in that ditch!” he growled through clenched teeth

“Xavier…please” my eyes teared up, the pain was now unbearable, my fingers tingling from the lack of blood, I hissed and grimaced in pain, his face softened, and he loosened his grip, I hugged myself massaging the affected areas, he growled, got off the bed and stood by the door

“Consider this your one and only get out of jail free card” he stared me down with one hand in his jean pocket and the other on the door “you will not get another” he seethed with his jaw clenched, he opened the door and slammed it shut behind him, I took a deep breath and let out a big gush of air, I got up and went to the window and there were trees as far as the eye could see

“What the hell am I going to do, Aiden where the fuck are you?” I felt the tears build up and I leaned in letting them fall freely, I have never felt so helpless in my life, “there is no escape…I’m trapped” my body jolted between sobs, the growl from my stomach brought me back to my sense, I wiped off the tears “you are the freaking Luna of the Lethu Pack, get a fucking grip” I roared at my reflection staring back at me on the dressing table mirror, I fixed my hair and pulled myself together and opened the door ready to face Xavier.

I walked out of the room and Xavier was outside sitting on the porch “I’m hungry, is there anything to eat in this place” I huffed standing behind him

“Shit I forgot that you eat, I’ll be right back…I need food myself anyway” he got up and ran with an unbelievable speed, I gasped and followed him

“Arya did you see that?”, she growled sensing that something weird was going on. The trees where close together creating a thick shade, it was daylight, but the woods were dim, and I found it hard to see

“You’re even weaker than last time, I can’t take control, just take your time and we will be fine, don’t overexert yourself like last time” she whispered reading my mind, I nodded and took one step at a time, I walked for what seemed like hours, I was thirsty and exhausted

“I can’t stop, I have to keep going, I can’t stop” I repeated over and over chanting the words as a marching song, my heart leaped when I saw the sun shining through a clearing and I ran towards it, joy filled my heart, “I have finally made it”, I got through the trees and saw a cabin that looked exactly like the one Xavier had, I ran to the door “help please…I need help” I screamed bursting through the door

“Honey you’re home, did you enjoy your walk?” he beamed satisfied with himself

“Xavier…there’s no way, I walked west towards the sun, there is no way I travelled in a circle” my mind a haze of confusion

“You must be hungry” he grinned laying the plate full of breakfast food on the wooden table

“There’s no way, I can’t be here…how am I back here?” he laughed and sat at the table gesturing for me to take a seat “answer me Xavier what the hell is going on here?” I boomed furious at the unanswered questions in my head, he didn’t answer, I turned and looked back at the forest trying to make sense of it all

“I said sit the fuck down!” he growled banging his fist on the table, I jumped and did as he said, he pushed the plate towards me “eat” he breathed calming himself. I picked up a piece of bacon and started to eat

“What about you?” I asked trying to act concerned, I need to be tactful to get the answers I need

“Don’t worry about me, I’ll get my food later” he whispered looking everywhere but me

Aiden's POV

“What the fuck!” I growled after being woken up with cold water splashed all over me

“Time to wake up Alpha” the guy from before wearing the same hiking clothes from last night smirked at me looking very pleased with himself

“You son of a bitch” I hissed through clenched teeth

“Time for your sentencing” he glared at me unlocking my shackles

“I’m gonna kill him, that asshole!” Reni roared

“In due time” I whispered glaring at the man who has just sealed his fate, he undid my chains and threw a white sheet at me

“You can cover yourself with that” he grinned and opened the cell waiting for me, he led me outside where I counted about twenty-five wolves while they dragged me barefoot covered by a sheet to what looked like a mini stadium and I as the main event

“Let the sentencing begin!” the voice of the Estoica Pack’s Alpha boomed, and the crowd cheered

“Sentencing…without a trial, are you insane?” I questioned him and he looked down at his feet regained his composure, and looked up at his Pack and continued

“Given the overwhelming evidence against Aiden Braveheart, the Alpha of the Lethu Pack will be put to death” the stadium roared and the ground shook, the excitement radiating through the air, time stood still, and I froze, in complete disbelief.
