Chapter 35
"It was so nice of you to let the girls go to comic con," Bruce remarked to Waxx who was casually lying on the couch.
"Too bad Maradina couldn't go." Waxx replied and ended with a yawn as he scratched his chest.
"Well, she still needs her rest." Bruce changed the TV channel.

A black jeep with tainted windows parked outside the Serial Takers hideout. A window at the front slid down and Bolt; along with Sean who was in the driver's seat, looked at the four-story building suspiciously. Sheila was in the back seat with sunglasses on and busy texting on her phone.
"We followed the directions given to us by the mad scientist to the dot. I am beginning to think that he is even more insane than I ever imagined. I can't see anything signifying a hideout here." Bolt hissed through his gritted teeth.
"I hear he sent out a bat to track down this place." Sean added with a chuckled.
Bolt gapped at him surprised, "Wait what? We came here on the basis of a bat's intuition? Fuck this, let's get out of here." Bolt closed his window. It wasn't even half way closed when he heard,
"No," Sheila said and opened her car door.
She sensed the force field Bruce set up to elude everyone especially supernatural beings. Sheila took off her sunglasses and gave a sharp scream that sent powerful sound waves to the force field.
The waves hit the force field so hard that broke it. Bruce jumped off his seat at the impact and startled Waxx. Daisy ran to her computer monitors and saw Sheila standing outside with a black jeep behind her.
"It looks like we got company!" she exclaimed, alarmed.
Bolt and Sean got out of the car and stood beside Sheila grinning. Bolt punched the palm of his hand and cracked his neck.
"They had us fooled for a moment." he pompously said.
"Let's capture that girl and be on our way." Sean added.
"Do you think anyone is home?" Bolt asked with a lot of mockery behind his voice.
"Well, we are just going to have to find out." Sean put his hands in his pockets and the trio made their way to the door.
Someone landed in front of them with a dust rising thud. The vampires took their battle stances. Their horrifying eyes looked through the dust like it wasn't even there. When they finally spotted Josh raising up from his knee, Bolt growled at him.
"I'm afraid that's as far as you will go." Josh grimly said to them.

Waxx watched them through the computer monitors. Daisy sat by him tensed. Waxx's serious expression only got her worried. That meant trouble and it had been a long time since they faced any.
Waxx studied the vampires and shifted his eyes to Bruce. "Those three are pure vampires, each belonging to a different clan. We can't fight them here. The last thing we need is to get humans involved."
"I will carry out a teleportation spell immediately." Bruce agreed and got to it.
Daisy cleared the living room for Bruce, and he sat down on the floor. He pulled out a piece of chalk that looked like the nighttime sky filled with stars. Bruce then proceeded to draw a large circle and drew several shapes Daisy wasn't familiar with.
Bruce sat at the center of the circle with his legs folded and hands put together. He then started to murmur a spell in a secret gamarax manipulator language that Daisy and Waxx couldn't understand. The circle turned red and everything in the room except Bruce rose up.
Waxx maintained his composure as he floated helplessly in the air whereas Daisy struggled to stay balanced. Maradina was awoken in the next room when her head hit the ceiling. She had to put her arms up in order to avoid hitting her head again.
An earthquake took place outside and it forced Sheila down to her fours. Josh, Sean and Bolt tried their best to maintain their balance. Josh grinned to himself when he realized what was happening.
'The whole hideout is being teleported away from the humans. This means that I won't have to hold back.' Josh rubbed his bearded chin, intrigued.
Before they all knew it, they were in another dimension. The place was vast with rocky hills, rocks and sand everywhere. The three vampires couldn't recognize where they were but Josh did. They were in the Kremis dimension - the very dimension where Akirexer had her first training session with Queen Sharaina.
Josh cracked up laughing so hard because to warrior darkas gods, kremis were nothing but small fry. That, unfortunately, wasn't the same for vampires because to them, kremis were vicious monsters. Josh applauded Bruce for picking the Kremis dimension.
Waxx looked out the window when his feet returned to the ground. He was pleased that the teleportation was a success. Daisy crawled out from underneath the table and noticed that Bruce wasn't with them.
"Where is Bruce?" she worriedly asked Waxx.
Still looking out the window examining the enemies, Waxx answered, "He is back on Earth doing everything he can to keep the hideout here for as long as he can." Waxx turned his eyes to her. "I am going outside. Try not to get into any trouble."

"Damn it where are we?!" Bolt yelled in frustration.
Sheila got back to her feet and joined Bolt and Sean glaring at Josh who was pointing and laughing at them.
"Fuck you laughing at asshole?" Bolt spat.
"Isn't it obvious you fool? I am laughing at you. If I were you, I wouldn't make so much noise. A weakling like you ought to be quiet in a place like this." Josh smirked at Bolt's scowl.
"Weak? I'll show you who is weak!"
Bolt punched the nearest boulder that was three times his size and it flew straight and hit a cliff. Rocks came crushing down and six gigantic blue eggs at the bottom were smashed. The foul smelling red yolk splashed all over the sandy ground.
"Whoa! Now you have done it!" Josh laughed even harder.
The ground underneath Bolt began to shake violently. Both Sean and Sheila raised their eyebrows stunned. Neither of them knew what to expect. A huge Kremis burst out of the ground and swallowed Bolt in whole. Sean and Sheila retreated to safety and stared at the Kremis astonished.
"What the hell?!" Sean exclaimed.

Josh was standing safely up a little hill looking down at Sean and Sheila. Both vampires stared at the roaring kremis in horror. Josh shook his head at them disappointed and put his hands in his pockets.
The Kremis's roar turned into an agonizing groan suddenly and Sean smirked. The sound of flesh tearing up and bones breaking from within it was heard clearly.
"What the fuck?" Josh whispered underneath his breath.
"It is not over yet." Sean laughed.
A surge of lightening was seen and in a blink of an eye, Bolt burst out of the belly of the kremis. Its lifeless body fell to the ground. The disgusting sight of Bolt covered in guts and blood almost made Sheila throw up. She covered her nose to the agonizing and nose hammering scent of kremis blood.
Bolt's clothes were torn and emitting steam due to the stomach acid. He spread his hands apart yelling hysterically like a maniac. Josh gave a slow, anger triggering sarcastic clap with a wide smirk across his face.
"How you managed to survive in the extremely acidic stomach of a kremis is fucking beyond me. Pretty impressive for a Lightening Clan vampire." Josh remarked.
"Why don't you get down here darkas god so that we have ourselves a showdown?" Bolt hit his fists together and a surge of lightening broke out, whipping through the air.
"Challenge accepted." Josh jumped down to face Bolt.
Turning over to Sheila, Sean yelled "Don't just stand there like an idiot. Come on, we have to find that girl with the dragon."
"Oh really?" Waxx joined the party. "You are here for one of my girls huh?"
Waxx took off his green sunglasses and wiped them clean. With his pink and sharp eyes, he stared at the yellow eyed vampires. Sean and Sheila froze with their jaws dropped and cheeks red as they gazed into his capturing eyes.
With the gentle breeze slowly blowing Waxx's blond hair, his pink chopstick lips smiling widely and his hairy chest showing through his unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt not forgetting his masculine manly legs, Sean and Sheila couldn't help but be infatuated by him.
"You are so hot!" Sean shamelessly confessed.
"The hell?" Waxx cringed and put on his sunglasses again.
Sean eyed Waxx lustfully and bit his lower lip. "Sheila he is mine. Go inside and find the girl." Sean ordered Sheila and she dashed to the house.
"Oh no you don't!" Waxx reached out to grab her but Sean quickly pulled his hand, threw him over his shoulder and sat on him. He then started to twist his arm from behind.
"I am your opponent handsome." Sean flirted and Waxx grunted underneath him.

Sana and Sanuika leaped their way to the secret hideout. With all the commotion going on, they didn't want to attract any attention to themselves. However, to their surprise, they found the place where the hideout stood empty with only Bruce kneeling down.
His eyes were closed, and he put his hands together as if he was praying. The sight of him could be compared to a Buddhist monk chanting. They landed away from him and exchanged shrugs.

Josh jumped from hill to hill dodging all of Bolt's lightening bolts. He was having the time of his life. It had been a while since he faced a strong opponent. Bolt on the other hand, however, was getting fed up with chasing Josh who was doing more running away than fighting.
"What the hell is this darkas god? Don't tell me you are all talk and no fight." Bolt shot another lightening bolt at Josh.
Josh dodged it and looked ahead. He lunged away from a hill and landed hard on his feet. In no time, he was joined by Bolt who was panting heavily. Bolt wiped the sweat off his forehead and glared at Josh who was looking blankly at him.
Josh took off his leather jacket and tossed it aside. His huge dragon mark on his right bicep was what caught Bolt's attention. He however didn't get enough time to look at it because it morphed into a 50 m thick black chain that was wrapped around Josh. One hand swung the chain around into a perfect circle while the other held a gentle grip on it.
"I get it now. Your weapon is a long range that requires a large open space in order for it to be effective. That's why you lured me here in the open with no rocks or hills to interfere."
"You got a problem with that?" Josh spat on the ground and cracked his neck.
"Not at all, this just makes things more interesting for me." Bolt replied.

Waxx groaned as he tried to break free from Sean's grip. He never imagined that a vampire would have the strength equivalent to five full-grown warrior darkas gods. To his shock, the tight grip started to burn.
Waxx quickly summoned his weapon and it appeared with a strong wind that confused Sean. His hold on Waxx weakened and Waxx wasted no time in throwing him off of him. He swung his scythe at Sean but he rolled away to safety. Waxx took a look at his burnt arm and he gnashed his teeth in pain.
Sean smiled deviously at him. He brought his fingers to his lips and licked them. With his devilish eyes, he studied Waxx's magnificent scythe in awe. Waxx stood eluded and confused by the vampire before him. He never would have thought that a skinny gay vampire would possess powers far beyond his comprehension. Taking a good look at him, Waxx noticed the tattoo under his eye.
"Waxx or maybe should I say Storm? You are called Storm because of the terrifying wind storms you cause with that scythe of yours. I must say it's a great honor and privilege to fight you."
"I see that you have heard of me." Waxx said.
"Why of course I have handsome. Who fucking hasn't?" Sean's hand was on his hip while the other one hang loosely. Something dripped from his fingers to the ground - lava. More of it poured out and soon, the strong scent of smoke was all Waxx smelt.
Waxx's eyes widened at that. So that's what burnt me.
"You are a Lava vampire. This explains your tremendous strength. I thought your kind went extinct." Waxx said to Sean.
Sean giggled cheerfully at his comment. "I am one of the lucky few who survived the death sentence your kind placed on us." Sean brushed his hair back with his fingers.
"To be fair, it was your clan that waged war against our kingdom." Waxx retorted, clenching his fist and bearing a prominent scowl.
Sean took note of the scowl and raised a brow mockingly. "Still angry about your father's downfall I see. It was in deed a victory for the Lava clan to take down the great Sevilon."
"Shut up," Waxx's fangs popped out.
"Make me." Sean dared him.
