Kiss and Make up
He froze as if not believing what just happened, his eyes looking at me with so many questions and I huffed, “That’s for leaving me behind last time!”
He heaved a sigh, “I apologize, Kira. You know my reasons. I do not want to endanger your life.”
“You always coddle me up and say “This is not safe for you” but look at us now, does it look all that safe to you? Being attacked like that without any defense, your powerful members were with you.” I said to him, “You know that nothing here is safe unless I am beside you!”
He hugged me again, kissing my forehead, “Sweetheart, just listen to me. I deeply regret it. Please, I do not want you to be mad at me. We can talk it out in my room-”
I rolled my eyes, “We all know what will happen inside that room.” And I am deeply angry. I am happy he returned for me but I swear I could just release all this anger inside me.
One of his pack members stepped forward, “Excuse us future luna, our deepest apologies, but no matter how angry you are, we suggest you not throw your hands on our alpha.”
“Shut the f*ck up, Igness.” Ace growled, “She can hit me whenever she wants to.”
The pack member bowed at me, apologizing and I made him raise his face so I could see his face better. He looks familiar, I could see him frequently in training. He’s the member beside Mark and the one who always seemed to be the role model…
Has he become the new beta?
“Leave us alone.” Ace ordered his men behind him and they all scattered, monitoring and checking the area.
“Is this your new beta? Tsk, he looks weaker than Mark.” I asked Ace, which he nodded and I scoffed, “I still want Mark.”
Ace gritted his teeth, “Do not mutter that forbidden name anymore.”
“What? You act as if he just ransacked your whole pack. That poor man has been loyal to you in more ways. More loyal that he fought off those enemies when he could have just run away and not fought.”
“What? How could he do that?” Ace yelled in fury and I stared at him.
“I let him out. You left the ones who couldn’t fight. Your useless pack members couldn’t even put up a fight against the enemies. I mean what should I do? Let them get me?”
Ace kissed me on the lips, “Please do not do that again.”
But I pulled away, still angry at him. “If I have to, I will. I only did what’s best for your pack members.”
He nodded, “Thank you, my sweet. For fighting them off.”
I shook my head, “Do not thank me, I didn’t do anything except let Mark out. If anything you should thank Mark.”
He gave me a look, which I only matched with raised eyebrows as I crossed my arms in front of me, waiting for his response.
Suddenly, our conversation was cut off when the vampire Gusev, spoke up, beside us, “Wow, you could throw a slap there.”
He smirked, and I frowned, “Wow, you are still here?”
Ace, who seemed to focused on me that he only noticed this same vampire only now, “Gusev? What the hell are you doing here?”
He then turned to me as he cupped my cheeks, not wanting me to turn and look at the vampire, “Did he talk to you while I was away? What did he tell you? Do not believe anything he said. This guy is nonsense who just wants to play around.”
Gusev scoffed, “Ouch. Is that your image of me? I only came here in concern because your mate was defenselessly left here by someone dumb enough to leave her alone. You know that she’s your weakness.”
That seemed to pull a nerve on Ace as he grabbed his hand and crushed it, making Gusev yelp in pain.
“You do not have the right to talk to me like that. And I left her with one of my strongest fighters, Maximus.” He answered.
Gusev pouted as he complained, “You are too harsh on me! Why are you harsh on anyone but her?”
“Because you are not Kira.”
Gusev hiccuped as if crying and he grabbed his robe, and suddenly transformed into a woman….no..not just anyone…it was me!
I gasped, comparing how we have the same outfit and how he gets my exact eyes and my nose, my lips, down to the shape of my b*obs and my b*tt.
I blinked in both anger and amazement. Angry for him copying me like that, and amazed at how he was able to make it look exactly like me.
This is my first time witnessing a vampire shapeshifting into someone and I could say it was dazzling. Knowing it is me he was copying….but I have to give it to him for doing a good job.
I only watched these in the movies…wow…I didn’t know this was real.
Gusev pouted and blinked seductively at Ace, who was gulping and was stuck, before pacing around Ace as he moved his body to him with my appearance, “If I talk to you in this look, does that mean you will stop hurting me?”
I couldn’t help but laugh at the situation as Ace couldn’t even do anything but stand still. He glared at Gusev, “Gusev. Stop that. I am warning you.” He ordered firmly.
But Gusev didn’t stop. He continued teasing him, “Or what? You’ll punch me? I am only a delicate poor little woman here…”
I suddenly stopped laughing, watching how cringed he moves.
And I do not talk like that!
“Hey, I do not like that, Gusev!” I complained, and Ace looked at me for help, “tell him to stop, love.”
I cocked an eyebrow, shaking my head, “I won’t…it’s good to see you struggling there.”
Ace clenched his hand, gnawing in his teeth. One more teasing and he might have punched Gusev now.
Gusev was smart enough to shift back to himself and waved at me, “Oops, playtime is up. I need to go now…” He said as he stood up on the tree branch, and winked at me, “I’ll see you soon!”
He said before he fled, which only made me confused about why he said that.
Ace raised his eyebrows at me, “Have you become closer to that vampire for him to tell you to see him soon?”
I shrugged, “Nope.”
“Next time, avoid him as much as possible. He’ll only bring trouble.”
“Then next time, I suggest you won’t leave me alone here.” I fired back at his reminder and his eyes turned soft.
“It was my mistake. That won’t happen again, I assure you.”
He then pulled me, “I missed you so much. Shall we go to my room?”
I snorted at him, “you just returned and yet you are thinking of doing it? No, I am angry with you.”
“That is why I am comforting you. I am going to make it up to you by kissing you endlessly.” He suddenly crashed his lips onto mine, his tongue roaming arond.
Suddenly, we were stopped at a clearing of throat, and Maximus reddened face as he tried so hard to avoid watching us.
“What is it?” Ace snapped, irritated at how he cut us off.
