FLASHBACKS
THE ALPHA'S PSYCHO LOVE
CHAPTER SIX
"Hello, sweetie," Mrs. Susan screeched as she opened the door excitedly, she made her way to send light into the dimly lit room by opening the curtains. She wore a classy black and white striped suit.
Her Auburn hair was packed in a nice ponytail, with well-trimmed ends. She wore red lipstick, dark eyebrows, and little make-up on. She looked extremely beautiful, with a four-inch heel.
Jane rubbed her eyes off sleep, she was in deep sleep as the loud noise woke her.
It was a new semester and she would graduate into a new class, her grade wasn't all that but she managed to score a pass.
She was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age.
Her parents made sure she was taught properly as an auditory student, she also got professional teachers who helped her battle it to a manageable degree.
"Good morning mom," She stuttered, with heavy eyes.
"Good morning cupcake, how was your night?" She asked, sitting down by the bed, stroking Jane's hair. It felt silk to the hands as she stroked it lovingly.
"I'm fine, just stressed with school, that's all," Jane muttered with a shrug.
"Beta, made mention of you hurting yourself this morning. Tell me everything and trust me I will handle it, sweetie, please what's going on?" She pressed on staring at Jane intently, searching through her to know if she was lying.
"Mom, I don't see any reason Beta has to lie to you. He's very protective and he reads the meaning to the tiniest things. You probably can't take him seriously." Jane laughs, she was smart to block her thoughts and her gaze was clear and still.
"Okay, fine if you insist but be very careful next time. You sustained injuries and that is not good, you are a lady." She scolds.
"Mom see my injuries are all wiped out, see my feet, my wrist. They all look brand new like nothing happened." She pointed out, flashing her legs in her mother's face and her wrist as she insisted casually.
"Young lady, don't talk to your mother in that manner. We all care for you, acting as though nothing is so low." Susan chides.
Jane drags her ears, "I'm sorry Luna, the Queen of hearts, the goddess of Silverline, Alpha Jude Heist Joy giver." Jane praised.
"Hahahaha...You're a clown Jane, wait until I report you to your Papa." She threatened as she laughed repeatedly, pausing to catch her breath.
"Mom, you look great, what's the occasion?" Jane jumped out of bed stretching her tired limbs.
"You're going to get admitted to Rock High School, it's a boarding school. This is a new semester so most of your classmates are going to switch. It is a school that caters to children with special abilities; wolves, elves, vampires, witches, amongst others.
The school will give you proper guidance and training on your powers, you're a tribrid. You're the future of this pack since I can't bear kids anymore." She paused with a sad smile and continued.
"Your Beta will make it to your new school to fill up necessary forms. Your father and I have been very busy...you will understand when it is time." She replied when she started sensing Jane's urge to ask inquisitively about the situation.
"That's fine, I hope things turn out for the better," Jane replied, checking her wall clock hung on the dresser. It was 8:46 am and she was famished, as she yawned.
Her mother laughed and said, "There's nothing you have to worry about sweetie, they are under control. I made breakfast bacon, eggs, chicken nuggets, and lots more." Jane's mouth watered in hunger, she jumped and hugged her mom.
Her mom was almost crushed by the hug, as she made a passed-out face.
"Jane, uhh...Oh my God, you have a mission to kill me. Just joking, hurry up, brush your teeth, take your shower, and dress up, see you downstairs in five minutes." Susan Instructed, walking out.
"Mom, how do I do all that in five minutes?" Jane yelled.
"Your time starts now better hurry," Susan yelled back with a laugh.
The bath went smooth as she sang in the shower, turning the faucet into a microphone. She must have released three albums under the shower, as she sang to her heart's content.
She wore her pink hoodie, her flats and styled her hair neatly.
She went down for breakfast and met the servants setting the table, the table contained lots of amazing meals displayed on it.
Her mouth began to water, she sat on the huge dining table.
She gazed at the door as her mom came out from the kitchen holding her cellular phone.
"Your dad won't be joining us, I'm sorry he's too busy today, he will make it later in the day." Her mom apologized as she scooped some food onto Jane's plate.
"I can't recall when we had breakfast as a family since three months ago dad has acted strange. I'm fed up with begging my parents for attention." Jane complained as she stuffed food into her mouth chewing nonstop.
"Jane, you shouldn't talk like that. There is a group of people trying to attack and sabotage the Silverline pack. The Alpha is working nonstop to save his pack and protect his loved ones."
"I'm so sorry mom," Jane almost cried as her spoon fell off her hands, she felt irritated with herself.
She felt her parents didn't want her, but the truth is they were going through challenges themselves. She is a bad daughter, she thought almost breaking down in tears.
"That's fine. This is one of the reasons we are sending you to Rock High School. They'll protect you, it's safer there than here. We are barely around, working and strategizing with other packs to form alliances. A great evil is awakening and we better be ready and explore all our options." Susan explained bowing her head in deep thoughts, before stretching out her hands across the table to take a glass of water.
She sipped it and dropped the glass on the table.
Jane stood up as she walked to her mother's seat and hugged her, they cried together for a few minutes.
"Stop crying baby, it's enough now. Never think or even assume we don't love you. Okay?" Susan rubbed her back lovingly as she nodded obediently.
They got into their seats and relished their sumptuous meal, smiling and chatting on a few matters.
After breakfast, Jane had to assist her mom in washing her dishes, as she made her way to the room to pack up her stuff for the boarding school.
"Jane, your aunt Sasha will be arriving soon. She called and stated she's on her way, please be on your best behavior sweetie." Luna Susan explained at the door.
"Sure mom, I'm more excited to meet her." Jane yelped.
"Sweetie, you're getting admitted next week, so why the rush?" Susan asked gazing at Jane's huge box and clothes neatly packed.
"Mom, I just wanted to do it. Besides, I'm bored at home, nowhere to go, or friends to come sleepover." Jane replied with a hand on her chin.
"Don't worry, your Aunt will be good company and besides you should find your friends and not them finding you alright?" Jane gave a whatever look and stuck out her tongue playfully, Susan gave her a light knock on the head and laughed as she made her way out of the room.
