Back from the dead
Miss out on a lot of things? This man clearly screams danger, yet my stupid ass is letting him bait me. I am letting him pull me into the dark abyss, tucking me into the pithole that I couldn’t get out of it.
As he pushed me to the wall, he caged me, “Aren’t you curious about finding out the truth?” He asked, caressing my cheeks.
“What truth?” I asked.
“My identity, aren’t you curious about me?” He asked, “If Ravena’s appearance doesn’t seem to grab your attention, how about my identity?’
“I am, but I know that this is a trap,” I answered, looking behind him to check any signs of Creed.
Come on Creed, come faster.
I couldn’t help laughing at myself after realizing it. Why am I even expecting him to save me? Creed is not someone like that. I am just getting my hopes up. I may be his mate but I am not someone important to him.
He noticed my train of sight and scoffed, “Such a smart girl. And you’re choosing him over me…”
“Uhm excuse me but why should I pick you over him?”
“Do you still not know me?” He asked, “The one you were supposed to be with.”
I gasped. No. Alpha Fenris? This is impossible. He’s dead. He was killed by Creed right in front of my eyes. Creed had his head…how could he
A smirk played on his lips the moment he saw realization bore into my eyes.
“You; 're looking at me as if I rose from the dead…But great deduction there. Hello, Nyra.”
I shook my head, “This is not possible, I know you are dead. Creed killed-“
“Me? Do you wish me to be dead, Nyra?” He stepped forward and leaned in closer to me as his hand stroked my hair.
“Sweetheart, I am perfectly alive. And right now, I am coming to get you back.”
I pushed his hand from me, “You’re not getting anything back. I do not belong to you.”
“Oh, then who do you belong to? To Creed?”
“No one. I belong to no one.” I gritted my teeth. “Now leave me.”
“I thought we could take things slow but I believe I might need to use force on you.”
And he threw me to his shoulders and ran. I fought hard, struggled against him but he was too strong for me. His strength overpowered mine as all I could do was kick and punch and trash around.
“Sleep, my dear. Our journey is going to be a long one.” That was the last thing I heard as he put me to sleep.

The sound of chains dangling around my wrist woke me up. I found myself in a dark place. A strange new room with only a bedroom along with a strange man who seemed to be examining my body.
“She’s perfectly well, master.” The man said, “And she isn’t marked yet.”
“Good, you may leave.” Another man said and I recognized it. Alpha Fenris.
I glared at him, “You bastard!” They are looking at me as if I was a test subject. A rare specimen they needed to study and I felt sick.
Alpha Fenris noticed that I was awake now, “Why hello, good morning to you too, my dear Nyra.”
I went as far as I could from him then remembered why I went to him in the first place. “Where am I? What is this? Where’s Ravena? And What do you want?”
“Isn’t it obvious? You.”
Me? I scoffed, “You scoundrel. I know the likes of you, tell me what it is.”
He chuckled, “Ah, that’s what I like about you, Nyra…you got me there. I want you to deliver my heir.”
“Why me? Don’t you have a mate?”
“Oh honey, you have to make it worth my money, I bought you from your past pack after.”
I gnawed on my teeth, “you could choose another she-wolves. I am useless, weak, and infertile.”
“Useless? Hmm, you might be in your past pack but you won’t be once you deliver my heir…Weak? I don’t see you killing yourself so I believe you are strong after dealing with all that…and infertile? Oh honey, I trust you are not.”
“Why are you talking to me as if you know me already?”
“You forgot? We were playmates when your father would bring you to the alph meetings.”
I don’t remember this bullshit.
“Oh come on, don’t tell me you forgot about me. Nyra, I am hurt.”
“You’re lying, I don’t know you. And even if you are telling the truth, you are just too easy to forget.”
“Oh, I promise you, you won’t be saying that once you let me inside your heart.”
“I have been admiring you from afar for a while now.” I felt disgusted at his confession. He was stalking me?
“I just couldn't keep my eyes off of and when I heard the moment that were going to be sold off to me.”
I have to choose another topic, this disgusts me. “You can choose a beautiful and suitable luna for you.”
“Oh, I’m not saying I want you to be my Luna, but since you’re implying that way that could be arranged.”
“But we have a problem. Creed snatched you away from me. Why are you letting him when I am more suitable than him?” He asked.
“That’s none of your business.” It’s like making me choose between a killer or a psychopath when they are similar. Except I have not been with Alpha Fenris long enough.
At, least Creed is someone I could talk sense into. Now how could I escape this situation? I need to think of a strategy. The way he talks, he clearly knows how to manipulate. I could try manipulating him back, but I fear it may backfire.
I gulped, “How did you make it out alive when Creeed sacked your pack?” I asked to change the topic and buy time. By the looks of it, it must be that some time had passed, which means Creed must notice I was missing. He would be worried, wouldn’t he?
Damn, here I am again for hoping too much. I shouldn’t have too much faith in others. I only have myself to trust.
“I am the only survivor of my pack after that stupid Ravager came to collect my head.” He started, “But seems that I am unkillable. I am rising from the dead now.”
“Why do you need me to produce you an heir when you don’t have a pack to rule now?”
“I’m planning on rebuilding it again. You are my hope, Nyra.”
“You’re spilling too much information to me. How are you sure that I won’t tell this to anyone when I get out of here.”
‘Oh, are you wishing to get out of here? Baby, you won’t. I promise after you get to know me, you won’t be even thinking about that damn Creed.”
He’s completely messing with my head. I have to step up my game.
“You must be tired and hungry. I prepared food for you.”
“I won’t accept anything from you until you get me out of this chain.” I stubbornly said.
“Very well,” He said and removed the chains too carefree.
“You’re too confident I won’t make it out of here. What if I managed to knock you down and leave this place?”
“Trust me you won’t. Your senses are weakened you can't even lift a glass of water now. And you are in a very special place.”
It only took me now. It was my past pack. I cursed under my breath. No matter how hard I try to leave this place, I keep coming back here.
“Aren't you going to thank me for reuniting you with your brother?”
Just then, Ceylan, showed up with that damn smile, “Welcome back, sister.”
Alpha Fenris raised his eyebrows, “Aren’t you going to hug your bother?”
I feel my whole body heating up in anger. I haven’t felt this angry in my life before, so much that I wanted to rot Fenris in hell.
“I’m going to kill you, Fenris.”
