~Amy~
"Amy? It's breakfast." a voice at my door woke me up. I shouted a sleepy yes and rubbed my face. I had slept relatively little as I was constantly plagued by nightmares. Well, not nightmares, more like Mason's dreams. How he ran through the dark forest as a wolf, how he sat in his place on the couch as a human. Maybe the nightmares came from using his sweater to sleep. I couldn't get him out of my head. If only I had run away when I could. I pulled on my pants and a t-shirt and went to my adjoining bathroom. There I got ready and covered my light circles under my eyes. If this continued, it wouldn't look as good as it does now. You could hardly tell I had slept badly.
I met Jonah again in the hallway to the kitchen. "Hey. Are you okay?" he asked and eyed me critically. "Yeah, fine," I mumbled. "Good." He eyed me furtively from the side, which really pissed me off. "What do you want to know?" I just asked straight out. His questioning look was really too much for me. "I wanted to ask if you found your mate yet." he asked me and continued to stare at me. Why did he want to know? "None of your business," I snapped, taking a step faster. I growled inwardly and tried not to attack him. Jonah sprinted after me.
"Now hold on, what's the matter with you?" he asked me, almost sounding a bit annoyed. I looked at him again and shook my head. "That does not concern you." I said and disappeared into the kitchen. There was a bowl of cereal in my seat, and Josh and Kayia were already seated.
"Morning" I said as I entered the room. Kaiya eyed me briefly and then let out a small breath of relief. She probably thought it was obvious that I hadn't slept well. I also had the feeling that my desperate screams echoed through the whole house.
After dinner I had a workout with Josh and Jona. It turned out that the guys were brothers. They didn't look alike at all. Except for the hair and skin tone. Jonah was also the beta of Josh.
Nothing really exciting happened until the evening. Except that I was getting more and more tired, but that was probably because I had done a lot today.
We had dinner and then we had a movie night. On the sofa, I immediately had to think of Faye, whom I had pushed away all day. I quickly pulled out my cell phone.
Amyyyyy
Naaa
How is it?
Dad didn't tell Mason about it.
By the way, you were right. Mason still has feelings for you. The further away you go, the cranky he gets. Felicitas is already fed up. She took time off from him until Friday.
Mason was on our doorstep at 3 a.m. this morning and ran to his room. His old bedding still smells like you, which is why he stayed there.
Anyway, we hope you're doing well.
Love you Faye
I thought about what to write so they wouldn't worry too much. So I quickly decided to do the 'Alles super' tour. Even though I was sure that Josh must have told at least one of my pack about my screams.
Hey
, I'm doing according to the circumstances.
The pack is super nice and I can get along quite well. Maybe write to you again later.
love you too
amy
I put my phone away and focused on the movie. However, after a while he became too sad for me. I said goodbye to everyone and went upstairs to my room. I went to sleep there immediately.
The next morning, Kaiya woke me up shaking my shoulder frantically. "5 more minutes" I mumbled sleepily and turned around again. "Amy you have to get up now" Kaiya said and rubbed her face desperately. I took another deep breath and finally got up. "It works" After that Kaiya went into the kitchen.
I put on new clothes that Kaiya gave me. I just tied my hair up and went downstairs. Everyone was waiting for me there. "Morning," I mumbled and sat down next to Kaiya. I grabbed some cereal and poured myself some milk. With my luck I spilled it and got a fright. It almost all spilled onto the table and my pants and milk carton flew off. Why did this happen to me. I started to sob and immediately Kaiya's arms wrapped around me. What happened, however, did not undo. Oh man, with my mood swings, I was either on my period or I was pregnant. However, both were completely impossible.
"Amy, it was just milk. We'll put that away," Kaiya murmured, briefly looking at Josh in desperation. He just shrugged his shoulders. After a while my tears stopped and I was able to finish my breakfast. However, Kaiya had to feed me in the beginning because I wasn't really able to do that because of my trembling hands.
After the meal I went back to my room and holed up there. Faye hadn't written yet and I doubted she would get in touch before lunch. So I lay down on my bed with my hands and feet spread out and listened to the conversations in the hallway.
"We should tell her that Mason is alpha now..." Kaiya whispered. Unfortunately too loud. Tears pooled in my eyes. He had made Felicitas his Luna. He was definitely an alpha now. He had his pack. I could never go back... Even if I didn't mean to. Or maybe yes?
The voices grew quieter again and I cursed myself for not listening. Otherwise I probably would have known more now. With a big breath I sat up and started to my desk. There I took a sheet of paper and began to draw. At the same time I closed my eyes. I had always had a deep inclination towards drawing. My parents had never drawn. Well, they were never my parents. I didn't know my real parents, but I guessed them, on Hudson Bay wolves. There should also be a large pack there. Because of the color of my fur, I assumed it was there. However, the search would be delayed even longer. I didn't find the strength to find my family. She would only come back with Mason...
In the afternoon I had a brief meeting with Jona and Josh. Both tried to convince me to train, but due to my bad mood, they quickly drove this thought away. If I saw Josh's fur, I would start crying all over again. Mason had similar fur. Only the consistency differed. Mason's was soft and bristly at the same time, while Josh's fur just seemed soft. In fact, I hadn't touched it yet, and I firmly resisted it.
In the evening I fell into bed exhausted right after dinner. Very tired.
