Atasha's Point of View

I slept on the cold floor as the room doesn’t have any beds. The light that it was emitting was only in the gaslight and some candles. To be honest with myself, I didn’t think that I could go this far. Seeing that Alpha Gregory accepted me now as Luna is still so surreal. I wasn’t able to process what I had done way back when I jumped off and broke that window. If I hadn’t done that and we stepped back or surrendered, then maybe I wouldn't be here. It was all Alpha’s test in the end. I’m glad that I was able to surpass all of it. Now, we just need to watch out for Zach and Trisha.

"Atasha, are you still asleep?" "Elijah asked while my eyes were closed, drowning in these thoughts of mine." I tried not to answer and feigned that I was asleep. "I know you're still awake, Mettle."He continued.

I opened my eyes and then sat next to him. I glanced at him laying on the floor sideways.

You can’t also sleep? How many hours do we need to wait? Do you know if it’s time for us to leave this place? "

"I’m not sure either, but it seems that someone is going inside of this room,"

We both looked at the door, and we saw the priest holding a small box. He then opened it to us. We checked what was inside and it was some sort of special herbs that the priest wanted me and Elijah to eat.

I glanced over to Elijah and he just simply nodded, so I trusted him and went on and grabbed that herb. I felt so relaxed when I bit it and my head was completely light. I then had a sudden reset of my body. It was like the exact feeling when I bathed in that magical fall in the witch forest.

The priest left us both inside, and he said to wait for their go signal. I just waited and glanced over to Elijah. He was falling asleep, then the same went for me, as I felt relaxed and I couldn’t help but to shut my eyes.

"Wake up now, Mettle." Elijah tapped my shoulders then touched my face. I stood up and saw that Alpha Gregory was in the room.

"Hello, Alpha Gregory," I said nervously, bowed my head, and walked away.

Alpha only smiled at me. Veronica was also inside the room with Luna and Samantha.

"Where are Zach and Trisha?" I curiously asked. Everyone in the room went silent and I glanced to Elijah that didn't reacted at all.

Veronica then said, "They dissappear, for some reason we can no longer find them. Also, the death of Beta Drogo is causing some chaos in the Deveraugh clan. But don't worry, everything is under control."

Alpha Gregory then added, "What's important Atasha is the unification of you and Elijah would be completed. Let's go to the next step which is your wedding. Veronica will now guide you to get dressed. You two will be heading to the church and the priest will have your wedding conducted. Once it's finished we will do our blood vow Elijah so that I'll handed you the position to be the Alpha."

He then coughed a bit after that which I noticed stranged because it seems he was still sick so I can't help to ask if he's okay then when I tried to asked him that he then leave us quickly with his Luna.

So when Alpha Gregory leaves the room, I asked Veronica if Alpha Gregory is sick.

"I just noticed Veronica, that a while ago Alpha Gregory doesn't seem fine as he seems sick or maybe I'm just wrong. I was worried because It's my first time seeing him like that."

"Well, Atasha, it's my first time either, I think it has something to do with all of the fiaschi that happens with his pack. First, with Beta Drogo's betrayal, him hiding the truth of his cursed daughter, then next is having  Astrid that became Trisha Deveraugh. He even throws a party for her to declare that she's the next Luna."

Veronica then asked me and Elijah to follow her into the room to get dressed. It's been a long time since I saw Joaquin. He was preparing my dress and Elijah's suit.

"Joaquin, it's been a long time since I met you!" I said it out loud and he was just standing there with a blank face. Usual Joaquin didn't give any expression then I saw Elijah then walked to him and gave him a hug. From there I could see Joaquin's face smiled a little bit then tapped his shoulders.

"Welcome back, Elijah. You're now ready to be the Alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack."

"That's right, Quin, did you miss me?"

He then coughed and handed him the suit that he prepares. Elijah then chuckled a bit then he went into his dressing room. While Joaquin also gave me my own dress. It was such a beautiful white gown with crystals and gems on it.

"This is beautiful, Joaquin. You prepared this for me?"

"Yes, perfect for you Atasha. I also prepared one last time for Trisha which I just found out that it was your twin sister. Very odd, she threw the one that I created because it was not good and she insist to do her own dress that she created with Margaux. It's funny that it was only a staged wedding and not real though."

He then left me and I went on to change into my dress. Veronica helped me to wear it. She then assists to put on my make-up.

"Remember the days Atasha, when we're on the East Land?"

"Oh my, please don't it's so traumatizing," I said and we both giggled.

"But I didn't forget what you said last time when we were there. When we're at the bench sit. To control my emotions, and for me to be better. I didn't forget that Veronica."

"And now you're here, Atasha. Stronger as ever the Luna of this pack." she tapped my shoulders and we both glanced in the mirror to see my makeup.

"It's beautiful, Veronica." she then massaged my back. "It would be a lot of responsibility so I'm expecting a lot on you Atasha," she whispered.
