An Invitation

Astrid's Point of View

"Are you scared?" I got furious when Zach asked me this question while he was laughing at me. I panicked when someone grabbed me at the back. I tried to scream about what he did, then when he started giggling, I found out that it was him.

"You almost gave me a heart attack. Don’t do that again, Zach!" I was then embarrassed since he saw me with messy hair and no make-up on. I'm even wearing the wedding dress that I’ll be wearing on our wedding day.

"I’m sorry, your reaction was so cute." Anyway, is that the wedding dress you’ll be wearing on our special day? "

"Yes... you shouldn’t see me wearing it." I may be planning to create a new one. This one was a long time since I sewed with Margaux, so the measurements are no longer accurate.

"Wow, so you made this?"

"Yeah, but I’ll do a new one,"

"I never knew you’re so talented." It makes me more excited to be with you. Imagine having a wife this creative and smart. "Talented, beautiful and very seductive."

"Alright, Zach, you’re just starting to throw all those compliments." I get it, but it’s not truly your understanding of me. I mean, you’re just under my spell. "

I then realized what I said and covered my mouth. Did I say to him that he was under my spill? I am becoming more comfortable and careless in my statements lately. I should stop hanging out with Margaux for at least one week.

Actually, you’re right, Trisha. I’m so truly under your spell. I’m obsessed and will head over hills for your beauty. I was captivated. "

I rolled my eyes at him and palmed my face. He then held my hands and kissed the back of my hand. His charming smile quickly melted my heart, then he began to put my hands around his neck and our bodies were now closer to each other. His eyes locked into mine, then he put his hands on my waist.

He then swayed like we were slow dancing. "I love you, Trisha. I hope I met you earlier in my life."

"I love you, Zach," I said as I embraced him tightly, then inquired about Elijah and Atasha.

"Hey, Zach... I’m curious about what happened to Elijah and Atasha. I heard from Margaux that you tried to follow them. I mean, it’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it.

"No, you’re fine, Trisha. It’s actually a very long story, but currently, both of them are no longer here in Crimson Moon. If you’re worried if they come back here to stop you being a Luna and me as you're an Alpha, I assure you that it would not happen, my love. I would not allow that to happen.

He smiled, then gave me a kiss on my lips. We finished our busy day by preparing the tables and adding the decorations, like the flowers, candles, and table setting. Then the next day, I received a letter from Zach that he had already got the ring that he liked for me and he was also in talks with his father.

"So that’s the letter that Zach provided to me this morning,"

"I’m so happy for you, Trisha. He got you the most expensive ring!" Margaux giggles with excitement. She was even more excited to hear this than I was.

"The invites to our relatives were also sent by Peter. He said that he was so excited about the announcement that would happen tomorrow that he did it by himself. "

"Peter? Did he send the invitations? Do you think that we can trust him, Margaux? "

"Why? He’s our uncle... Without him, I couldn't have met you in flesh. He’s the main reason why you’re here, Trisha. Why are you not trusting him? Is there something wrong? "

"Nothing Margaux...  I'm hoping that you're right about Peter"

"Alright, anyway, let me go and check the other staff. We should be ready for the big day tomorrow! "

She left the workshop while I wondered if Peter handing out the invitations giving me suspicions that he might mess it up. However, I have no other choice but to trust him on this one.  I'm sure he wouldn't want to make a scene and ruin this. Margaux would hate him for doing that.

I took a deep breath then and I glanced at Zach’s letter, So Elijah and Atasha wouldn’t be here? I want to see their losers' faces while I’m married to Zach as a Luna. Especially Atasha. She should know that Astrid knows that I’m no longer her sister.

My realization kicks in that we need to find Elijah because he also needs to marry Margaux. If that wouldn't happen then our father would also be upset and especially Margaux.

I decided to go to Montreal's mansion. Margaux asked assistance from Joshua the driver that I tested out the Love potion for the first time.

"Hello, Ms. Trisha. I'm sorry if I was rude to you at first. I didn't know that you're the lost sister of Margaux."

"It's fine Joshua, can you take me to Montreal's mansion?"

"Sure, not a problem."

"By the way, I would like to ask you something. Did you remember something odd happened to you these past few months? like unusual that you did? Because I lost some of my memories when I was in deep sleep for almost a month."

He was taken aback and rubbed his both hands. He looked so nervous.

"Nothing on the ordinary..."

"Come on Joshua, you can say anything to me..."

I tapped his shoulders and looked him in the eye. He wasn't able to glance at me because he was shaken.

"Okay, but please don't tell this anyone. I still want my job here! Anyway, my wife find out that I was writing a letter. It's a letter of like I was confessing my love for you that I asked you for your consideration to be your lover."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, but it was before. I don't know what happened and why I was writing you a letter. I then found out that I'm writing poetries about you in my notebook. My wife forgave me without any problems at all. But I was so scared."

"Good thing that your wife is so forgiving and she's totally fine with it." He no longer responded to what I said then he just started moving the vehicle.

We arrived at the Mansion then from there I saw Zach talking to Alpha Gregory. The two were shocked by my visit.

"Trisha? why you're here? you're not supposed to be here!"         Zach was astounded by my visit and Alpha Gregory seemed surprised to hear my name. "You're Trisha Devaraugh? It's also good that you arrived so that I would tell you what Zach is planning to do to you."  He was laughing hysterically which gives me the creeps. Alpha Gregory is truly a monster.
