The next day Holly went to breakfast to meet the guys at the hotel restaurant. She sat down looking annoyed and slapped a wad of cash on the table. “I’m out.”
Colt looked over at her, a little confused. “Out of what?”
“The bet. I lost.”
Dustin started laughing. “You’re kidding?”
“Nope. I lost. All this damn baby business got me horny as fuck and I had to take care of some shit last night… and twice this morning... and in the elevator on the way down.”
Colt’s mouth dropped open. “So… it’s over? I won?”
“Yep. You won.”
Colt stood up and grabbed Holly, throwing her over his shoulder. “I’m sorry in advance for every deviant thing I am about to do to that beautiful body.”
Holly laughed as Colt headed out of the restaurant to go straight to his hotel room. When they got inside the elevator, he dropped Holly to her feet, shoving her against the elevator wall. He laid his hands on her shoulders to look her in the eyes.
“I can’t take it any longer. I’m going to take you to my room and have my way with you until you can’t walk. If you don’t want this, say so now.”
Holly grabbed his waist, pulling Colt against her. “Do you ever shut up? Just kiss me, damn it!”
As the doors opened on Colt’s floor, they turned to exit.
Cyrus was standing there looking intimidating as ever. “Where the hell do you two think you’re going?”
Holly turned to Colt. They looked at each other and turned together to shove Cyrus out of the way.
The couple rushed to the hotel room before Cyrus caught up to them, opening the door just as he was about to reach the suite. Colt pulled Holly inside laughing and slammed the door shut. Holly was leaning on the wall, trying to catch her breath as Cyrus knocked on the door so hard it shook.
“OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR, WESSON! I’m going to end you, you little worm!”
After a few minutes, Cyrus gave up, and it got silent. Colt took a chance to peek out the door finding Cyrus was leaning against the opposite wall glaring at him.
Colt shut the door back fast. “I don’t think he’s going to leave.”
Holly ran her hand over her face. “I hate him sometimes. I’m calling reinforcements.” Holly pulled out her phone from her jacket, dialing Isis. “Icy. 911. I need you to get rid of the big nuisance outside Colt’s hotel room… Yes, Cyrus… He’s camped outside the door… Thank you.” Holly started taking off her clothes.
Colt’s eyes got wide. “What are you doing? He’s out there.”
“Not for long. Isis is coming to get him for some crazy emergency. He’ll be gone in a second. He never says no to Isis. She’ll make up something.”
Colt sat on the bed watching Holly undress and was having no part of it.
Holly looked over, gauging his expression. “What?”
“I think he killed my dick. I can’t do this with him outside the door.”
Holly walked over, straddling his lap. “Maybe I can convince you?”
She kissed his neck and started grinding on his lap. It took little to see Colt was not into it.
“Nothing?”
“Nothing. God, what’s happening to me?” Colt flopped back on the bed. “I have the sexiest woman in the world wanting me to take her and I can’t do it.”
In annoyance, Holly got up to put her clothes back on and walked out.
“Where’re you going?”
Holly didn’t say a word. She just walked out the door and Colt followed. Cyrus leaned up against the wall, smiling like a Cheshire cat, knowing he ruined their mood. Holly smiled back, an evil grin walking up to him, and quickly kneed him in the groin. Cyrus doubled over, falling to the floor with a loud groan.
Colt squatted down next to him, patting his head. “Awe, poor fella. Now you know why my balls feel like that ever since I met her.”
Holly grabbed Colt by the ear, pulling him to follow her. “Don’t poke the bear. Come on, pretty boy. I’m hungry.”
Isis was heading down the hall ready for her mission. “What happened?”
Holly ignored her and walked past with the most pissed off look on her face. “Go find him some ice for his nuts.”
Isis laughed. “Why do you always hit them in the nuts?”
Holly entered the elevator, turning back to Isis. “It gets my point across faster. Work smarter not harder.”

Holly waited in the ring with Retribution for Davis to come to join them. Davis strutted down the ramp looking pleased with himself. Which Colt knew meant he was up to something. Once Davis entered the ring, the Retribution crew surrounded him like a pack of wolves.
Holly stepped up to the older man, sizing him up. “So, Davis. You called me down to the ring. Have another nephew you want me to bury?”
Davis looked around the crowd, smiling as they laughed along with Holly. “Oh, no. I think you did enough damage on Sam. I have other plans. You see, doll face, you made a monumental error when you crossed me. I may have not won the battle, but I can now honestly say I’m happy I didn’t. I am sure you are shaking in your stilettos at the thought of facing your brother, Wraith. Rumor has it, you’re a little worried.”
Holly raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. “What’s your point? He’s my brother. I know better than anyone what Wraith is capable of in the ring, and out. There are few people I feel as my equal in this ring and he is one of them.”
“I’m sure that’s true for both or your brothers.”
“Of course. They trained me. I’m actually excited to get in that ring with Wraith. It’s an honor to be head-to-head against him.”
Davis rubbed his chin, stalking around her. “But there is one other man you see as your equal. Isn’t that right?”
Holly narrowed her brows at Davis. Colt had heard Holly say it many times. Colt was her equal in every way. Holly didn’t dare look in Colt’s direction. She knew it would confirm Davis’ suspicions.
“Colt 45. Your little boy-toy.”
“Why else would I stand in this ring beside Colt every week if he wasn’t my equal?”
Davis smirked. “Correct. Brother or not, I would assume as far as you’re concerned it’s just another fight. Wraith is enemy number one in the ring right now?”
“Yes, as far as the match. As would be anyone willing to step in this ring against me. It’s not personal. It’s what I came here to do. Fight. I could stand in this ring with Colt and still be ready for a fight.”
“Funny you should mention that. Colt’s opponent next weekend at Summer Mayhem isn’t clear for the ring after his injury last week.”
Colt laughed. “Maybe he shouldn’t have attacked Holly and I backstage. He got his ass served to him on a platter for attacking my girl. You’re running out of henchmen, Davis. You need to tell you boys to not cross her. She isn’t just blowing smoke when she says she is one bad ass bitch.”
“I am sure you will be absolutely sure of that very soon.” Davis smirked.
Holly turned to Colt. “What’s he talking about?”
Colt shrugged. “I don’t know. What’s your point, Davis?”
Davis turned to the jumbotron. “Why don’t I let the new leader of my team, The Authority, tell you what we are planning.”
Holly turned to the large screen, seeing her brother Cyrus’ face appear. He was in a full suit and tie and she looked at him like he had had a lobotomy. “What the fuck are you wearing, Cy? You look like a tool.”
“You don’t like it? New style. New suit. New me.” Cyrus chuckled.
Colt grabbed the microphone from Holly. “What’s going on, Cy?”
“I told you not to touch my sister, Colt. Now it’s time for my retribution. I made a deal with the devil. I joined The Authority in agreement that Davis gives me the title match I want to see most. I get to sit ringside for the event of a lifetime.”
“Which is?”
“The biggest main event in IWX history. The IWX Intercontinental and Heavyweight Titles both up for grabs. Winner takes all. A three-way match. Colt Wesson, Holly Bordeaux, and Wraith Evans at Summer Mayhem.”
Holly went into a panic. “NO! Cyrus! NO!”
Colt grabbed her, holding her tight. “You can’t do that!”
Cyrus laughed. “I just did. Game-set-match, you little shit. Good luck beating my sister and brother, Colt. You know she backs down from no man. Holly wants that gold and she’ll have it even if she has to go through you and her own brother to get it.”
Holly backed away and looked at Colt. Both didn’t know what to do as the cameras shut off. The crowd was going crazy and Holly could only hear her own heart beating in her ears. She saw red and the old Holly was back in full force. Holly jumped from the ring and ran backstage to find her brother. Colt ran after her, trying to catch up.
“CYRUS EVANS! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?”
Holly stomped around the backstage, pushing people out of her way. She went to the promo video area and found Cyrus talking with Gage. Grabbed his arm, spinning him around, she punched him dead in the mouth. Cyrus winced as the blood pooled in his hand from his busted lip.
“I’m going to rip you apart!” Holly hit him again and Gage held her back.
“It’s just business, little spitfire. Calm down.” Gage tried to keep from laughing. He knew Cyrus was going to catch hell for this crazy plan.
Holly turned to him and punched Gage in the nuts. “Never tell me to calm down!” She turned back to Cyrus. “I hate you! You are trying to destroy my relationship!”
Cyrus saw how hurt she was. He intuitively knew he made a mistake. He never wanted to hurt his sister, and that’s just what he did. “Holly. It’s not like that. I was just wanting to mess with Colt. I didn’t think you would be so mad.”
“Are you fucking crazy? I can’t beat him. It’s bad enough I can’t beat Wraith. You screwed everything up!” Holly turned and ran to the locker room, hiding her face from the tears rolling down her cheeks.
Colt walked up behind Cyrus. “Smooth asshole. You hurt her. To think she actually wanted your blessing for us to be together.”
He walked away, shaking his head. Colt had to repair what her brother did to break what he had worked so hard to fix. Her broken heart.
Cyrus leaned against the wall, and his shoulders dropped. He wanted to die. His family was everything to him and he let his sister down.
