Chapter 36 Bitter Pain
<Shielyn>
I see the pain in his eyes.
He tried to hold me again.
“From this day, I declare I am no longer your wife. I will talk to my parents about this. I will explain this to them. Don't worry; I will take the blame.”\
He is not looking at me.
He clenched his fist, and he was just looking at it.
He didn't talk; I was waiting for his answer.
“Okay.”
I look at him. He still is not looking at me.
“Let's get a divorced, then,” he stood up without looking at me.
I feel my knees getting jelly; I am feeling more pain in my hurt than in my wounds.
He left me.
He said yes that easily.
I saw them leaning in the door when he opened it. Our friends are listening. He didn't look at them, and he just passed by them; Layla, look at me in pity.
Ethan just looked at me, and he left too.
I cry aloud.
Yvlaine closed the door and pulled Layla.
“What happened to them?” I heard Layla ask.
Me too; I don't know what happened. I just want Kier to leave me a message.
Is it too hard to call me or leave me a msg? He even beat the president by being busy.
I cried silently.
It's easy for him to say yes because there's love involved in this marriage. This is what I want, right? Why am I not with it?
I have regrets.
I didn't expect that he would consent so easily.
I just want to make it up to myself; why; is it easy to let me go?
It hurts so much. Really hurt.
I wish I didn't meet him; he was not the one I married.
I am expecting that he will hold on and explain it to me.
I am slowly getting killed by the pain.
I am just threatening to my messages.

<Third Person>
“Saltzman, you must come to the company; they need you there.”
Nate said in the other line.
“There's a large amount of money missing,” Nathan reported that he is the one who takes his company while he is away.
It's evening, and Kier is looking at the moon; he is on the balcony of his room, hitting his cigar.
Kier releases the smoke; he already smokes two Kaha cigars, many filters scattered on the table, and his ash tart is nearly filled.
Kier’s phone is on his loudspeaker.
He is thinking deeply.
He did not answer; he was just busy hitting his cigar. One after another.
“I already made an investigation in the chief of finance, department of marketing, and everyone will be under a deep cleaning and further investigation.”
It's late in the night, and Nate is still waiting.
“Hello? Moron, are you listening?`` Nate asks Kier.
Kier remained silent.
“I don't know if you are doing miracles right now; go to your company if you don't want to lose another large amount of money,” Nathan reported.
“I am busy; I am handling the new building; I might not take a look at your company,” he said. “I'll hang up now since you don't want to talk,” Nathan said and cursed him before he ended the call.
Another call came in, and he answered it.
“Saltzman, we have a problem in the black market; the Maharlika group is taking action. Moron! This is a big problem! Why did you kill one of his right hands? They might strike us!” Conrad said furiously.
“I am on vacation!” He hissed the hard way.
“And we lost a hundred billion dollars,” he said in distress.
His life is much more distressful.
“I said, go home next month! You go home early!” he stops him from going home, but he is eager to go home and see his wife.
What an expectation vs. reality he experienced today.
“Come here! We need you here! They might attack us, and Y is not in himself! What did you guys happen to you? You just fell in love and forgot what kind of person you are!”
He got another cache of cigars.
Crossing his arm on his chest, making his biceps and veins popping.
“Y is not helping me; he is just letting our money get stolen!”
He ended the call because Conrad would just scold him.
They can do it by themselves. Y is the highest leader in the black market, so he can handle it.
His phone rang again, and he accidentally answered it.
“Sir, we need you right now in the headquarters,” Chezka reported.
“ It's an emergency.”
He turned off his call; before he could turn it off, he received many emails.
He runs his fingers in frustration.
What a fucking life.
“I am so sleepy,” Jase complained. He just got home from Europe, and he still has a hangover. He was sleeping when they called him.
Kier left him in Europe, and he didn't tell him he would go home. If Conrad didn't complain that Kier had left in a hurry, he wouldn't know.
Nathan is wide awake; he just feels like staying late all night to do his work.
While Ethan doesn't want to sleep. He is scared to close his eyes again. His baby is still sleeping, and his sister is there to look after the baby.
Kier releases another bullet at the target.
The three didn't want to speak; they knew he was not in a good mood.
“Fuck!” He kicked the chair and discarded all the mess he saw.
He shot the 90 inches Tv and kicked it; he broke it and released all his anger.
The three are just looking at him.
If Bryden is here, he will ask him what happened to him.
This is the second time they see him in this kind of situation.
“Stop it; you already ruined everything.” Ethan stops and sits in the chair.
The place is already a mess. Kier broke everything, even his open.
He broke the CCTV camera and their computer inside the room.
Jase is just shaking his head; he wants to sleep; he doesn't want to work anymore; he is tired. He managed their company in Europe, and Kier didn't help him with anything.
He is more stressed than him. Maybe another half month and they will hold their grand opening of the Malaya company in Europe.
They named their company Malaya.
The walls are full of holes because of the bullet he releases.
“You shouldn't go to work; you might kill someone,” Nathan said while making a cup of coffee.
He gets the coffee machine before Keir breaks it.
“Here, drink this, lad,” Ethan gave Kier a pill to calm himself down and grabbed the bottled water they had left weeks ago. He didn't have a choice; he broke their water dispenser.
Kier abruptly drinks it.
“What happened?” Ethan asks gently.
“Yeah, what happened? Did I miss something?” Jase asked them.
Nathan shrugs his shoulders; he doesn't know anything except that Kier's company is in chaos and facing a big problem.
“Tell Conrad and Yehyuda that they can take my money; I won't go there anymore,'' Kier said calmly.
His head is aching again.
“But you need it; you know about the black market, and we are selling legal guns. That will be our other business in the future, and besides being a police officer, you know everything about guns,” Jase said while massaging his head.
Let's set aside his money; he can earn it in just a month.
He rummaged in the pocket of his coat.
“Fuck! The eucalyptus oil is in my car,” Kier murmured. His head has been aching because of a lack of sleep.
“Let's just sell drugs; Conrad will help us, easy money; I don't want to work anymore,” Jase said lazily.
“I am going to resign as a police,” Kier stated.
The three men look at each other.
“Do you want me to punch you so you can wake up? Put yourself together; your company might face a crisis if you don't take action,” Nathan said while drinking his coffee.
“Let it.” He said it was not a big deal.
They all look at each other again.
They last knew that their company was his top priority, and they thought he would tie himself to the company forever. He loves his company so much and treasures it.
They know what he had been through before he became a CEO. He faces many challenges and rejections before his company earns billions of dollars every hour.
Kier is just staring at the ceiling. He looked lost and in distress.
Kier called Conrad.
“What again?! Did you know that I am alone and he doesn't want to help anymore?! He left his work to me! While he is having a good time with his woman!'' Conrad yelled at the other line.
Jase chuckled, and he saw the woman too.
“Get the daughter of the Maharlika group. Bring him to me,” Kier commanded
“What the heck?! Are you okay? Or are you still sleeping?!” Conrad nagged, and he was like a woman.
“Europe and Asia are fucking far away! How can I bring her to you?! Or do you want me to fly him there?!”
Kier lit up a cigar.
“Moron! Get him and kill him! I will pay you! Or if you want you can have my company there as a gift! Fuvk you!” Kier ended the call.
“So mad,” Ethan commented.
“The beast is now out,” Jase said.
“Calm yourself, lad; that's not good for your mental status.'' Ethan reminds him.
“I'll just sleep; tell me if you are going to leave,” Jase said and entered another room in this room.
They all look at the door when it suddenly opens.
“Who the hell are you?!” The older man shouted.
“Damn it, if ever I a get out of here, I will fucking hunt you down!” The other he's with shouted.
Kier signed to bring them in front of him. He commanded his men to get them.
‘Kier, what the hell?!" Nathan whispered to him.
“What are you planning?” he added.
