56. Is this the end?

Vera's point of view:

How time flies. It's been one month since I left America for London. I've been in Mystic pack for over one month now. It wasn't easy to leave my hometown, my family, my friends but I did it for the man I love.

I thought it would be so hard to convince my grandma to let me leave with Dominic but it wasn't that hard at all. My grandma was able to get along with Dominic. At last, she let me leave with him. Of course, she didn't know Dominic's true identity. I didn't tell her nor anyone. I spent a good time with Nina before I told her about me leaving with Dominic. I told her how Dominic confessed his love for me and she was happy for me. But she was sad because she was going to miss me if I left the country.

Liam and Kyle had already taken over the blood moon pack. According to Dominic, they are doing great in taking care of the pack. Liam is a great Alpha and Kyle, a great beta. The Gamma assigned to them is a good person and he had been contributing greatly to the success of the pack.

Vanessa wanted to come along with us to Mystic pack but Dominic said no. I can't believe she was ready to ignore all her duties as the shadow moon Beta to leave with Dominic. I don't need a sorcerer to tell me that Vanessa loves Dominic and she sees me as a threat. That's why I can't believe that we are friends. I know she said so but I believe she was just pretending. She doesn't like me, I can feel it. I won't say that I like her, nor do I hate her. All I know is that I have no business with her. It's a good thing that I and Dominic had gone far away from her. I don't like seeing her around my man, she's sometimes annoyingly clingy.

I didn't speak to my mother and sisters or tell them about me leaving America for London. No need to bother telling them because I know that they won't care about anywhere that I go. They don't like me but I hope that one day they will learn to love me. I hope that my mother will stop blaming me for my father's death. I was just a child then and my father was only trying to save his little daughter. I also wish that she will stop brainwashing my sisters into hating me. I have been in touch with grandma over the phone, also Nina and my friends at the mansion. I really miss them and one day, I will visit them in America.

It wasn't easy for the Mystic pack to accept me as their Luna. Dominic's father and mother accepted me but I don't think his brother likes me, I mean I don't think he even likes Dominic. His behaviors showed it especially when Dominic was announced as the Alpha. He wants to be the Alpha but he doesn't have the qualities. His stepmother is a good person and his father is good too. His stepmother loves him and was in support of him being the Alpha instead of supporting his own son Lucas.

I know that Dominic is the oldest son and deserves to take the position of Mystic pack Alpha but I couldn't believe that his stepmom will support him and not support her own son Lucas. She told me that Lucas is her son but she knows how selfish of a person he is and she won't turn a blind eye to that fact. She loves the members of the Mystic pack and wants them to have a good Alpha and Dominic is the best Alpha they could have, not his selfish and self centered son.

I couldn't believe that his father who once wanted to kill me turns out to love me. He also asked for my forgiveness for attempting to take my life. Of course I forgave him and I have been getting along well with him. I've also been getting along well with Dominic's stepmom.

For the past month, I've been training to become a good Luna. Dominic stood by my side and insisted that I will be his Luna. His pack members, especially the elders, wouldn't comply with his decision until they learn of what I am. I also learned of what I am because I didn't know that I was that special.

I have a special blood which holds great powers. If a person tastes my blood whether the person is a vampire, a werewolf, a werebear, a witch or any other creatures, he or she will possess incredible powers for a few hours. It's a good method to use during war. Just a drop of my blood can make any warrior so strong to fight in the next few hours.

I am now treated like gold but Dominic said that they won't use my blood for anything. I told him not to worry, a little of my blood to help the warriors during war won't kill me.

It was during that time that I found out that the Vampires were looking for me. I've already learned about other creatures. There are many other incredible creatures other than werewolves. One of them are vampires. They are vicious and bloodsucking monsters. They want to take my blood to make themselves more powerful to defeat all other creatures. The vampire Lord believed that if he drank up all my blood, he would become stronger than every other creature. That was why he had been looking for me.

But I'm well protected, he won't be able to get me. I'm sure that Dominic and every member of the mystic pack won't allow it. There was war in those last few weeks but now everywhere is peaceful as they believed that the vampire Lord is dead.

Today, I am with Dominic as his Luna and we are both staring at the moon. It was said that I will also be one of them if Dominic marks me on the day of the full moon.

Wait for book two where all your questions will be answered. In book two, you will read how the story gets to this last chapter of book one. It seems a bit rushed but it was purposely written that way. Everything will be clear in book two.

Book one has a side story which will continue as chapter fifty seven. Book two will also have a side story because that's how the two books were written. Each side story is very interesting so don't miss out.
