Gambling to games and love
Felix’s grin has become too irritating to see now as he kept on glancing at her. He's now driving to the car racing game with Aurora seated beside her.
Aurora sighed dramatically, “Quit staring.”
“I knew you couldn’t say no to me.” He had this proud smile on his face.
Aurora stuck her tongue out at him and proceeded to stare blankly at the window, “Just drive, Felix.”
“Yes, ma'am!” He replied tauntingly and proceeded to tell stories about his adventure in the Philippines.

The drive took them half an hour and when they arrived, the crowd was cheering so much and heard even outside.
“This place is so nostalgic to me,” Felix commented, parking his car by the lot and they hopped out.
Felix guided her to where their parents were and when they arrived, Aurora saw her parents waving at her. The stadium was huge and they were situated at the very front part, at the VIP. The sun was scorching hot since it was noon but their location was protected with shade and the cool fans were situated at them so the heat was manageable.
“Woops, hope you put some sunscreen on,” Felix commented at the sight. She felt Felix putting a cap on her head and she thanked him.
She waved back with an awkward smile.
Aunt Sereia then stared at her son, “You told us you were coming this evening, son! We should have picked you up at the airport.”
Felix leaned in and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek, “Sorry mom, just wanted to surprise you all.”
Felix leaned in and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek, “Sorry mom, just wanted to surprise you all.”
“You really love your best friend more than your own parents.” His dad, Eion commented and Felix rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
“Let’s talk about the business and your vacation later.” Uncle Eion continued and that made Aunt Snow scowl at him.
“Eion…we came here to enjoy babe.”
Uncle Eion shrugged and kept quiet and Felix just rolled her eyes.
Aurora then looked again and saw her other aunts were there too. Aunt Emma was with her husband, Dax, and beside him were Uncle Leroy and Hannah. They are all the other business partners of her dad that became their close friends too.
“Is this everyone?” Asked Felix, looking at the whole crowd.
“Yeah, your Aunt Ember and Luke were on their Asia trip again.” Replied Aunt Sereia, mother of Reagan. She caught her eyes and gave her a gentle smile and her husband Phoenix also gave her a thumbs up.
Aunt Sasha gave her a flying kiss and Uncle Nicolo nodded his head at her in acknowledgment. Beside them, Dasha waved at her to get her attention and motioned for them to sit beside her. “I reserved this for you two.”
Aurora raised her eyebrows, “You expected us to come?”
“Yeah, Felix texted me.” She said as a matter of factly.
“Good thing you two came on time. The show is about to start.” Dasha said excitedly.
Aurora gave a glance at Felix beside her who was humming a tune and acted innocent and she just shook her head. As they sat beside Dasha, Aurora gulped, looking for Reagan one last time before giving up.

Dadha then pulled her and whispered, “I should have had a sleepover at you so that he could also drive me here…”
Aurora laughed at that, really this cousin of hers. When it comes to Felix, she would sacrifice anything for her crush.
and Felix looked at the both of them curiously, “What? What’s funny?”
Aurora shook her head, “Nothing.”
This made him pout and glare at her, “C’mon, you two keep on making my left out.” He said dramatically.
“Stop that melodrama. Let’s just sit, Felix.” As they sat beside Dasha, Aurora gulped, discreetly glancing and looking for Reagan one last time before giving up.
It’s not like it’s new that he doesn't show up anymore to their Sunday tradition…
Goodness, her body is screaming at her and wants to just make this end so she can get back home now. This is boring.
But then her thoughts were interrupted when an emcee started to speak from the microphone on the stage and started introducing the players. The crowd cheered so loudly and grabbed her attention. She looked at where people were screaming and when she saw it, she gawked.
Reagan.
Since they were in the VIP, the very front where they had a full clear view of the participants, he was standing there waving at everyone with his calm and intimidating bad boy look.
Aurora was speechless at the sight, and she felt Dasha nudging her arm teasingly.
Reagan was wearing a red tracksuit that she assumes is the uniform of the players, which suits him very well.
“I thought he’s not coming?” She muttered at Dasha who shrugged.
“I thought too…I just learned it also now.” She replied then opened her Twitter app again. “Damn, this boy is trending in the app again.”
Aurora then caught her father glancing at her, checking if she was okay and she smiled at him, reassuring him that she was fine. He nodded and got back to watching the show.
The participants were still getting introduced to the stage. “Here we have the country’s national bachelor, Reagan Hill! After trending number 1 in the Twitter app last night with news of her girlfriend, he’s now showing up as our participant. Give him a warm round of applause please!”
Aunt Sereia stood up and cheered for her son while taking pcitrue of her son. Uncle Phoenix clapped his hand for his son and she could hear him mumbling, “This damn boy again.”
“Now tell us, this is your first time joining our event. How are you feeling, Reagan?” Askes the emcee while giving the microphone to him.
The crowd immediately silenced, waiting for his reply. Reagan looked at the crowd, then his eyes darted to their area, to his mom, and slowly, his eyes trailed to Aurora. His lips curled into a smirk before speaking up, “I’m just here for one person.”
The crowd went wild with that while some were yelling some fan chants now. And Aurora couldn't hear anything except her heart drumming so wild. He kept his gaze at her, and she didn’t back down.
“Really? What a romantic guy, Reagan. Care to tell us who this lucky lady is?” The emcee asked again, “The girls are getting wild and wanting to know it.”
Reagan then immediately removed his gaze and looked at the one girl in front of him, the actress that he was trending with last night. Or the girl that they call her girlfriend now, Vivienne Rose.
She had a hat and face mask and shades on with her hoodie that looked like she just got from a hangover and hiding from her fans. The crowd cheered even more that it rang in Aurora’s ears.
As the emcee continued introducing the other participants, the new girlfriend of Reagan, Vivienne, now went to their area and sat beside Aunt Sereia and Uncle Phoenix.
The girl is now just a few meters away from her…
Now that she’s closer, and removed her face mask and shades, Aurora couldn’t help but feel insecure. There’s no denying that Vivienne is beautiful, in fact, more beautiful than in the movies or in the papers. Vivienne talked with Aunt Sereia who was entertaining her while Uncle Phoenix was quiet all throughout.
Aurora cringed at the sight. Really, that girl may be beautiful, but she’s trying so hard.
Dasha looked at her, “Are you alright, cousin?”
“I just felt like puking.” She answered simply.
That made Felix on guard, “What? Are you pregnant? Or did you eat something bad from my souvenirs?”
Really, Felix is the most dramatic person she met. “Thanks for the concern but no need to overreact, Felix. No, I’m not pregnant and it has nothing to do with your souvenirs.”
“I see, that’s good then.” And he returned on looking at the race. “But damn this Reagan. He’s jumping from actress to actress, could he just spare some for me too?” He joked and that made Dasha quiet.
Aurora felt really sick with each passing second and as the game was about to start, she stood up.
“Where are you going?” Asked Felix who also stood up.
“I’m getting hungry. I’ll grab some food.”
“Then I’ll come with you.” He answered, now walking but she stopped him.
“No, I’m fine.”
Felix sighed, “Come on, Aurora. You don’t look fine. You look like you’re going to faint any second now.”
She bit her lip, glanced at Dasha, and immediately ran away.
She heard Felix’s voice behind her, stopping her but she didn’t listen.
While on her way, she could see Aunt Sereia laughing along with Vivienne and she clenched her jaw at this.
“Are you alright, Aurora?” Asked Uncle Phoenix and she just smiled. Her father from afar immediately noticed it but didn’t say anything.
She continued walking until she was outside.
“You’re acting weird, Aurora.” Felix started to say after a while.
