Perfect Plan
Aubrianne Ivanov
On seeing Shawn, Jada ended the call and moved towards them while Jenna finally made herself seen.
Daniela furrowed her eyebrows, "Where have you been?"
"Oh my goodness, the pool." She beams, eyes wide in false amazement, and Daniela rolls her eyes and regards Jenna for a bit. She said nothing and returned to the house with Aubrianne and Daniel while Kirrah, Shawn, and Jada chatted.
Jenna's ears tuned in and gathered all the information she could about her mate. She wanted to find him. No, she needed to find him. She was baffled by this revelation. She was beginning to think she might never meet her mate ever.
But anger swam in her stomach at the thought of her own mate being this smitten with Aubrianne just as the man she had loved, Daniel, was.
This b!tch was a problem. And problems must be dealt with.
Shawn and Kirrah decided to do one more sweep and went around the house to the back door, closer to the back of Aubrianne's garage. Suddenly, they went running in the direction where the scent was most potent.
The scent was strong in the back there. "Ron could not have gotten far," Shawn shouted as he shifted mid-air into a sizeable beautiful chocolate brown and white wolf.
Huge sharp paws landed on the forest bed, and Roman took off through the thick brush. Kirrah ran in human form.
By this time, Daniela and Daniel were busy assisting Aubrianne, and Jada soon joined them, informing them that Shawn and Kirrah had tracked the scent, strongest behind the house.
Why wouldn't he just give up?
Aubrianne looked around to see if anything was out of place or missing. She knew Ron was on her bed, and the drawer that housed her panties was in disarray.
She did not have time to physically check to see if one was missing because she had countless pairs, but she was confident that he had taken one if not more.
Moments later, Shawn and Kirrah came running back inside. They lost the scent; the trail ended about a mile down the road next to tyre tracks.
Aubrianne sighed, and so the nightmare continued. Nevertheless, with all hands on deck, they packed up everything as Kirrah received another call from Aubrianne's father, and he made it clear Aubrianne would not return to that house ever again.
So she had taken the time to pack everything she wanted to take with her, and it was a lot. Aubrianne was genuinely thankful; everyone was here to help, and where the hell was her phone?
Four hours later, she was at the manor, Jada, Shawn, and Kirrah in tow. They would all be staying in her wing.
The crew was a little hyped yet angered at Ron being elusive. They had thrown ideas back and forth about his possible whereabouts and his real intentions.
And a few hours after that, it was finally Friday, the day before Aubrianne's big day.
Today Aubrianne woke up in a new bed, a new home. A freaking manor.
She had thought she would have trouble sleeping; however, that could not be further from the truth.
She was tired. Imagine returning home from the mall after walking and shopping for hours to pack everything and move.
Aubrianne was extremely tired. She had thought she would not go through this again. As soon as she honed in on her magic, she would be looking at some out-of-the-box spells.
Undoubtedly, she should be able to transport furniture from one home to the other and have said furniture placed precisely where she wanted it by literally only lifting one finger.
She had planned to explore the boundaries of her magic truly and was growing even more excited to visit Martha, Jada's mom.
Moving trucks had pulled up and taken everything away at two in the morning when they had finished packing. Shawn even went over to Kirrah's, and they packed.
Aubrianne had gone to bed at four am, and it was now after lunch.
But she rested well and felt like she was totally ready to start her day of pampering.
Aubrianne, Jada, and Daniela had their hair, nail, and facial appointments today.
Jenna had canceled at the last minute, saying she would get hers done tomorrow because she had some errands to take care of today.
Nevertheless, whether she was there or not didn't matter to Jada and Aubrianne.
Today would be Aubrianne's day of pampering, so tomorrow, all she had to worry about was styling her hair and her makeup and getting dressed for the occasion.
Today she would do a wash, steam, and blow out. She looked at her nails. Uhh, this needed some attention, pronto.
Finally, getting out of her bed, she called out for Jada.
Christen Thornton
It had been almost two weeks, and Osouf had not touched Christen since dinner night. It was like something had changed in him, and she did not know what it was.
It was like he had disappeared. Maybe Theo was not letting him out to play anymore, she sighed.
Where Theo had failed her, Osouf still tried to provide comfort when he could, well, when Theo allowed it and disappeared in the back of his mind.
Theo had been distant, and it was like he was going out of his way to avoid her, and she knew this because she was going out of her way to get him alone for a minute.
Theo was a different man, although who was she fooling? He was the same man she married. She knew it then, and she knows it now.
However, she knew he was a good man and a father. It's just that he was a sh!tty husband!
Though she could not understand how one could love another this deeply, that Jame's tricks were not working as they should.
Christen felt like Theo should be eating off of the palm of her hands right now. But he was not. Sadly, she never understood it.
Nevertheless, she heard the girls were heading out for a bit of pampering, and that was just what she needed, a day of pampering.
Aubrianne had invited her initially, but she had refused, choosing to stay in her funk. But today, no, she would get up and do something. Treat herself, feel good!
Timothy Thornton
It had been a week and one day since Timothy had convinced his mother to hold on longer, and it had taken him this long to come off his high horse and come down to earth and think about his mother's side of things rather than his side only.
He had thought that he could devise an idea that would work in favor of them both. And when he found it, he was ever so eager to speak with his mother.
Timothy had rushed to his mother's room from the gym at his stellar idea. He had worked out later than usual today and without his father.
And he got tired of waiting around, only during the workout to find out his dad had left for the day.
Apparently, he was up till the wee morning hours because Daddy's little princess had moved in. Nonetheless, his father decided to start his day early.
Timothy had found the situation with Aubrianne rather strange. Who moves in at that time of the morning? What could have happened that would cause such drastic movements?
Nevertheless, after he had run through all possible scenarios, he had brushed it aside, believing he would soon find out anyway.
"Mom, I got the perfect plan," Timothy burst through the door to his mother's room.
Christen had gotten out of bed today and was getting ready to start her day. She was not in the mood to discuss any of this right now. Today, she would pamper herself before she gave the show of her life tomorrow at the ball, standing at Theo's side.
She was drained even at the thought of it, feeling completely out of energy, "Timothy, please, not today. I am not in the mood right now, please." She haphazardly waved him away.
Whether it is to hear more of his plans to win over his father or, hmm, what else could it be? But it does not matter. She simply was not in the mood.
"Mom, please listen. You don't have to stay married to Dad if you don't want to," Timothy was not about to turn around a leave this unsaid.
