Chapter 25 She's alive

I was sitting in my office thinking about that girl...She remembered me of Noelani. She looked so fierce and beautiful.
I didn't stop drinking since that day. I was already so hurt but now..now knowing there's a chance to..No! It's not possible! My wife and unborn child are dead.
A knock on my door interrupted my thoughts.
"Come in I said!"
"My King! I bring you the news! A letter from our spy, Sire!" the man says giving me a letter.
My heart starts beating so fast that I thought is going to come out of my chest.
"You may leave now!" I said.
"My King." the man said with a bow.
I open the letter. It was indeed from our spy. I can recognise his handwriting.
'Your Majesty as you asked me, I looked into the matter. I couldn't find anything about the girl you said. Everyone says she's the Earth Kingdom Princess.
But last night when I was going to tell the King and Queen of Earth Kingdom that they are expected to dinner I overheard them talking with their children.
I didn't catch all their conversation but I'm sure the Princess called them liars. And she said something about not being their daughter. It seems like they kept this hidden from her for the last twenty years.
