Chapter 47 The End Of Evil
Chapter 47 The End Of Evil
“Katrina and Mia’s bodies are fused, causing Mia to experience the same pain that Katrina is enduring after consuming the poison. A witch cast this spell to bind their bodies, making it impossible for us to kill Katrina.” Jonathan revealed, leaving Nora and me stunned. We could hear Katrina’s screams, which was bringing a sense of satisfaction to me.
“Nora, can you break the spell? Can you separate them?” He inquired, his tone laced with worry.
“I can, Jonathan, but time is running out. Katrina could die at any moment because of the poison, and Mia’s life is also in jeopardy as their bodies are connected.” Nora answered, and I gripped my shirt tightly, tears streaming down my face as I struggled with intense pain, my eyes shut and lips pursed. The agony was overwhelming.
“What should we do, Nora? Please, tell me something.” He pleaded, his desperation palpable as he feared for the life of his Angel.
“Jona-Jonathan, I’m Pari. I won’t die.” I spoke, my voice trembling.
“But I can’t bear to see you experience the pain of death, Mia. I can’t.” He replied in a dejected tone.
“Please, don’t save Katrina. Let her die.” I cried out.
“No, I have to save her to protect you.” He wept as well.
“Please, don’t save her, please.” I begged, battling against the pain.
“What if you also die? No, no, I have to save her. Nora, tell me something. How can I save her?” He pleaded with Nora, his desperation reaching its peak as my life hung in the balance.
“Jonathan, I have an idea. I have an antidote for this poison. I’ll give it to Mia. Perhaps it will help.” Nora explained, retrieving an injection from her handbag which lay on the table.
“Please, do it quickly.” He yelled, his anguish consuming him.
“No, I won’t take it. Katrina will die today.” I resisted, moving away as Nora knelt beside the sofa to give me the injection.
“Nora, give her the antidote now.” Jonathan shouted.
“Mia, I have to give this to save your life,” Nora implored.
“No.” I pushed Nora, causing her to collide with the wall. I didn’t intend to harm her, but I couldn’t allow her to give the antidote. I could endure any pain to eliminate Katrina.
“What’s happening? Mia, are you alright?” Jonathan asked over the phone, his worry escalating.
“Jonathan, today Katrina has to die, no matter what. I won’t take this antidote.” I disconnected the call before Jonathan could respond.
“AHHAA...” I screamed in pain.
“Mia, why are you doing this? You could die.” Nora approached me, concern etched on her face.
“I want to kill Katrina, Nora. She has inflicted so much suffering on us. Jonathan has endured a lifetime of torment because of her. How can I save her to protect myself? Today, she must die, and she will.” I declared, momentarily setting aside my agony.
In the blink of an eye, Jonathan arrived home at breakneck speed. He swiftly picked up the antidote injection from the floor and rushed to me.
He bent down and whispered, “I can’t let you die, my love.” He gently injected the antidote into me, and I had no strength to resist, as the excruciating pain had rendered me powerless.
All my pain subsided within a few minutes. He lay down, cradling me in his arms, our legs intertwined. Nora silently left, leaving us alone.
“We failed again, Jonathan.” As I whispered with dejection, a solitary tear rolled down my cheek.
We had come so close to ending Katrina, but to protect me, Jonathan had saved her. I felt incredibly disheartened.
“You’re here in my arms, alive. I don’t want nothing.” He murmured, planting a kiss on my forehead and embracing me tighter.
Nestled within his embrace, I found solace. His arms were my paradise, and all my worries dissolved whenever I rested in them. There was only peace in his embrace.

Later in the evening, Nora performed some spells and successfully separated Katrina and my body. We were no longer bound. So I could finally bring an end to Katrina. My fury knew no bounds, and an insatiable desire to eliminate her consumed me.
During the night, as Jonathan slept, I swiftly leapt out of the window and arrived at Katrina’s house. I came carrying several sharp knives, along with a lighter and kerosene oil, with the determination to burn Katrina alive.
Guards stood at the entrance, they were vampires. I had no fear of them because I was a pari, capable of handling them effortlessly.
I step out of the car and swiftly killed the three vampires by stabbing them directly in their hearts, one after another. Two more vampires came rushing toward me. I pushed one aside, but the other seized the knife from my hand. As he was about to stab me, I held onto the sharp weapon and blood slowly trickled down my hand. Extracting another knife from the back pocket of my jeans, I plunged it into his heart, ending his life.
The wound in my hand instantly healed. I slid both knives into the back pocket of my jeans before soaring toward Katrina’s room through the window. Peering inside, I observed her sleeping peacefully.
‘How could she sleep so soundly after wreaking havoc on countless lives?’
“Your end has come, Katrina.” I muttered, glaring at her as rage consumed me.
I opened the window and leapt into her room. Startled, she woke up and her eyes widened in shock at the sight of me.
“How did you get into my room?” She asked, scrambling out of bed and rushing towards me.
She tried to grab my throat, but I seized her arm, staring at her with rage before pushing her away. She collided with the wall and screamed.
I let out an evil chuckle. “Katrina, no one can save you from me today. Your time has come. You have caused us so much suffering, and now it’s your turn.”
“You bitch, I’ll kill you.” She snarled, rushing towards me. But before she could reach me, I used my telekinetic abilities to lift a chair and threshed her.
“How are you doing this? Who are you?” Katrina cried out in pain, while I revelled in an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. I continued striking her mercilessly with the chair, using my powers.
“I am the one who will end your existence, Katrina.” I laughed with triumph, and fear flickered in her eyes as she realised my power surpassed hers.
She frantically rushed toward the window, desperate to save herself. However, I stopped her, blocking her path. I grabbed her neck and pinned her against the wall.
“Tonight, no one can save you from me.” I roared with fury, clutching her throat while she struggled to free herself with her both hands.
“Who-who are you?” She stammered, her eyes filled with fear.
“Today, you will die in suspense. You will never know who I am. Just know that I have come here to finish you.” I proclaimed, plunging the knife deep into her stomach before pushing her to the floor.
Katrina lay in a pool of blood, desperately trying to remove the knife, but my power prevented her from doing so. Words fail to describe the immense satisfaction I derived from witnessing her pitiful condition.
I retrieved a bottle of kerosene oil from my bag and poured it onto her. As I opened the lighter, she stared at me like a frightened cat, her eyes filled with terror. Witnessing the fear in her eyes brought me great peace.
“Goodbye, Katrina.” I declared, before dropping the lighter onto her. She cried out in agony as she burned alive.
Never had I imagined that I would end someone’s life in such a brutal manner, but I had no choice. She was a danger to us and deserved this fate. She deserved to rot in hell for all eternity.
Finally, she perished, and I let out a deep sigh of relief, a contented smile spreading across my face. It hadn’t been as difficult as Jonathan had feared.

Upon returning to Jonathan’s house, I found him still asleep. As I lay down beside him, I gently run my fingers through his hair, gazing at him with love and anticipation. I couldn’t wait to witness the joy on his face when he learned Katrina was no longer a threat, and that our greatest enemy had been gone from our lives forever.
When I rest my head on his chest, he enveloped me in his firm embrace in his sleep. I drifted off to sleep with a blissful smile adorning my face, my thoughts consumed by the anticipation of Jonathan’s reaction.
Tomorrow, our new life would begin, free from the presence of Katrina. Our love would flourish, and if in future any danger emerged, our unwavering love would always triumph.
