Chap 53: The Baseball Match - Part2
" Why are you sitting here?" Dylan's voice was louder than he intended. Aiden flinched and turned around to see Dylan glaring daggers at the person sitting beside him.
" I-I..." Aiden's words got stuck in his throat, seeing Dylan, who looked ready to kill someone.
Dylan suddenly held Aiden's arm in a tight grip and yanked him up from his seat.
The person beside Aiden was quick to react. " Woahhh!!! Chill...man; why are you getting so worked up?"
" Mind your own f**king Business," Dylan snapped at him and pulled Aiden hard, earning a yelp from him.
Seeing Dylan acting so aggressively towards Aiden, the man tried to interrupt. " How can you behave like that? Are you insane?"
Dylan was furious at the stranger questioning him. He clenched his fist and got ready to punch, but Aiden stopped him. " Please, Dylan, don't hurt him."
" Are you concerned for him?" Dylan asked in a cold voice. " Do you know him?"
"No, not at all," Aiden said in a hurry. " I am concerned for you. You are here for a Business meeting, so don't ruin it."
Dylan composed himself and turned around, giving a final glare at the stranger.
" Will you be alright?" The stranger asked again, looking at Aiden in concern.
" You..." Dylan was about to start, but Aiden beat him to it by smiling at the stranger. " I am fine."
Dylan gritted his teeth and dragged Aiden toward the VIP seats. Luckily for him, Stella had not yet returned.
" Why did you change your seat?" Dylan asked again.
Aiden glanced at the ongoing match and said pleadingly, " Can we talk after the game? I really want to watch this."
Dylan was about to refuse but was interrupted by Stella. " Mr. Hunt, I have made all the arrangements."
Aiden heaved a sigh of relief, and Dylan was forced to smile at Stella. " That's great."
" You can meet the players after the match."
" What?" Aiden suddenly stood up and asked excitedly, " Can we meet the Captain?"
Seeing Aiden's cheerful mood, Dylan didn't want to ruin the moment for him.
" Yes. I asked Stella to let us meet the players," Dylan said proudly. He approached Aiden and whispered in his ear," Only for you, Baby."
" T-Thank you so much. I-I am overwhelmed." Aiden said, looking flustered.
The match was very interesting, and the Royal Beasts won the game after scoring another goal in the last two minutes.
Dylan stared at Aiden with love when he was jumping and cheering for the winners. He had seen Aiden as the shy guy who was quiet and avoided getting noticed, but now he was acting like a happy teenager. After seeing Aiden like this, Dylan wished he could always be like this with him.
Stella led them to the players' rooms, and Mr. Garcia was also present with the players.
Mr. Garcia introduced Dylan to the Captain, saying he would be their team's new investor.
The Captain looked gratefully at Dylan and said," Thank you so much for your help, Mr. Hunt. We need the funds to sustain the team."
" You and your team deserved it, Mr. Styles," Dylan replied in his usual Business tone. " Also, my brother is a great fan of yours, so I had to," he said, glancing at Aiden.
Aiden blushed when Captain Styles looked at him and smiled. " Glad to hear that. We feel very motivated because of the fans' support."
Aiden was so awed that he was lost for words. Dylan couldn't help but feel jealous and regret his decision to let Aiden meet the players.
" I am in a bit of a hurry," Dylan said before Aiden could muster up the courage to say anything.
" Of course, Mr. Hunt," Mr. Garcia chipped. " You are a busy man."
Aiden wanted to interact with the players but was forced to follow Dylan out of the stadium.
As soon as they were in the car, Dylan started his interrogation. " You seem to be cheerful with everyone else except me."
" I never..."
" You sure are. You were smiling and talking with a complete stranger in the stadium, and I don't even want to think of how you blushed when you met the Captain," Dylan spat.
" I met my favorite sportsman for the first time; obviously, I would be flustered."
" Then what about that guy beside you? He was almost on your face."
" We hardly spoke for two minutes," Aiden said, exasperated.
" Why? Why do you have to speak to strangers? In fact, you don't have to talk to anyone else other than me."
" What?"
" I don't like it. Don't talk to others or smile at them, and most definitely do not blush at others."
Aiden scrunched his brow at Dylan's absurd demands. He thought Dylan was trying to mend his ways, but it seems like some things never change.
"I mean it!!" Dylan held Aiden's hands tightly and whispered in a threatening voice. " I get jealous easily, and you don't want to see me angry."
Aiden felt a sudden burst of anger within him, listening to Dylan's words. Dylan acted as if Aiden was his property and was tired of getting dragged around. He spat Dylan's hand away and said, " Why should I listen to you? You don't own me."
" I do," Dylan said in a serious tone. " Even though I have gotten lenient with you, it doesn't mean I will let you do whatever you want, let alone be around other men."
" Then what were all those talks about giving you a chance when you still want to force me? Was it all a lie?"
" I want a chance to prove to you that I really love you, but you don't seem to acknowledge whatever I do. All the things I did today were for your sake."
" When did I not acknowledge your efforts? I greatly appreciate what you did for me, but that doesn't mean you can boss me around."
" Then why did you change your seat?"
Aiden was racking his brains to think of a proper reply which would not anger Dylan.
"You wanted to be away from me, right? I took you there to watch the match, and you had the audacity to avoid me? Do you think that was fair on your part?"
Aiden felt a bit guilty now, but what could he do in this situation? Whenever Dylan got cozy with him, he would feel uncomfortable, not to mention it was equivalent to cheating on Noah. He had agreed to give Dylan a chance only to get him off his back.
" I-I didn't go by myself. Stella requested me to change my seat so she could get some alone time with you," Aiden pouted. " Moreover, you looked pretty comfortable with her."
Aiden gritted his teeth and cussed at Stella. " Some random b**ch's words are more important than mine?"
" I-I didn't know how to refuse her." They had reached home, and Aiden quietly followed Dylan inside, who was still fuming with rage.
Dylan couldn't say anything to that as Aiden was a pushover who often found it difficult to speak to people. He suddenly pushed Aiden towards the wall and said, " Fine!! But this should be the last time. Next time you are out with me, don't leave my side."
" Okay!! Can you move now?" Aiden said, scrunching his nose.
" Don't give me that look." Dylan suddenly punched the wall beside Aiden.
" W-What l-look?"
" As if I am a nuisance to you."
"I-I told you to maintain s-some distance."
"You don't like me near you?" Dylan screamed. "You were fine with that b**tard who was almost on your face."
" No. He was not close..."
" I saw it. He was whispering in your ear, and you were smiling at him."
" We were just talking about the match."
" I can't handle it, Aiden," Dylan said, putting his forehead on Aiden's. " I tried. I really tried hard, but I can't see you with other men. So avoid talking to them. That's it."
" You are making an issue out of nothing. He is a complete stranger. Heck, I don't even know his name."
" I don't care."
" That's absurd. We meet so many people daily, so how can I avoid all of them? You are overreacting."
" Why is everything so difficult with you?" Dylan yelled. " I always lived a carefree life, but you have complicated everything. I have to worry about such trivial things now."
" That's your own choice. I never asked for it."
" You are making me do it."
" Don't blame me for your decisions. If I am the cause of your problems, then I have no problem leaving. You can live your life peacefully."
" How can I live in peace now? I want to be with you, but I can't hold your hand in public. I can't openly stop others from getting near you without getting noticed, nor can I tell the World that you are mine. Do you know how frustrating that is?"
Aiden didn't know how to make Dylan understand that everything was his own choice. Being a homosexual himself, he knew their life was not easy. Convincing themselves was more challenging than convincing others. Dylan didn't want to come out about his sexuality because it mattered to him how others would perceive him. Even Aiden himself had hidden the fact about being gay for fear of being bullied, but his perception had changed after meeting Noah. Noah was proud of his sexuality and never bothered what others thought of him unless it was his close friends and family. " Then, end all your frustrations by letting me go."
" Let you go so you can run into your boyfriend's arms," Dylan spat with venom. Though Dylan was finding it hard to accept being in love with a man, he still couldn't let Aiden leave. " My blood boils whenever I think of you being with anybody else. I hate you for what you have done to me. "
Aiden's eyes were wide with fear seeing Dylan's growing anger. He was too unpredictable. Sometimes he would be in an excellent mood, and sometimes he would burst in rage.
" My life would have been easier if I had never met you," Dylan continued. " Without you, I would never have these weird urges to dominate and control everything about you."
" T-Then, I-I will disappear from your life..." Aiden started but was interrupted by Dylan, who slapped him across his face.
" All you talk about is leaving me," Dylan screamed. " I have a better option. Why don't I lock you up in this house? That way, I won't have to lose my control seeing you with others and can have you all to myself."
