Spending Time

Brielle POV

I still remember, when I was small, I always thought that tone day I will meet my soulmate who will love me and only me  like every normal girl dreams

After Zuriel comes into my life, I've started feeling the emotions, I've been even though, I would never feel after sloping my parents

I started feeling, jealousy, love, care, worry, for him which I'd even never thought will be felt again

But here there is a twist in the tale

Zuriel didn't love me/he loves someone else

My eyes felt so blurry as I was walking on an empty deserted road, my chest felt so heavy, even my limbs felt so light like they didn't belong to me, my eyes felt sore, and when I tried to will my tears away, I winced when a sharp pain occurs in my head

Suddenly, the rain started falling over, making me trembling

I hugged myself and sat on the side of the road below the large tree

I pulled my knees up to my chest and hugged myself more

Zuriel was in love with someone else, I don't even know that did he still loves her

and me, I think I'm so unlucky in this world, never git love of parents, then mistakenly when I fall in love, my love was in love with someone else

Suddenly, a grey Lamborghini stopped in front of me

A man comes out from the car, and it's Zuriel

"What are you doing were in this condition," he asked while quickly removing his jacket and making it wear to me

He quickly makes me sit in his car, and set the temperature of the car, in warm

"Are you stupid, who did this, especially when it's raining heavily," he said and rudded his palm over my palm, trying to keep me warm

"Relax, I didn't die, just enjoying the rain," I tried to smile but ended up crying more

He quickly wrapped his arms around me, and I cried more harder over his chest

"We're going home," he said and finally when we reached the mansion, he opened my side of the door, waiting for me to come

I dragged myself out from his car, and again why this is all happening only with me, what is my fault

Why no one loves me

"Bri...," he was about today, but I shook my head and raised my hand, not mating to listen to anything

I quickly made my way towards my room and I lay on my bed after changing my night pajamas

I stared at the wall above me, I don't know or even understand what to think now

I am fallen in love with my husband who can never love me back or never be mine

I sat up on my bed and rubbed my head

I quickly stands up and went towards, his room

I knocked on the door, after some time, he opened the door

My eyes traveled down towards his bare muscular chest, making me gulp he was only in his sweatpants

He furrowed his eyebrows looking at me

"Brielly, " he said my name, making my heart beating more faster

I cleared my throat, "H...hi," I tried my best to remain calm and straight-faced, trying my best not to let the fragrance of his strong cologne affect me at any point

"I...I'm sorry to disturb you, but can I sleep with you only for tonight, I promise is not to disturb you," I blabbered

He raised his eyebrows and smirked, my breath stopped when he leaned towards me, all the noises around me seemed like they stopped at the moment right here

"Sleep with me, I'm ready," he whispered sexily in my ear making me gulp

I quickly took some steps back,

Stupid Brielle, you should have thought before saying anything which has double-meaning

"I mean to sleep were," I corrected myself biting my lips looking down

He again comes near to me and put his hand over my lower chin, making me release my lower lips, which I was biting

"Of course, you can," he kissed my cheek making me freeze at my place

I looked at him wide-eyed, did he just kiss me, okay, I know it's a kiss on the cheek but still kiss is kiss who cares if that was on lips or cheeks

I shook my head and wiped that portion where he kissed me away over my cheeks making him laugh so hard, he threw himself over his couch laughing looking at me even tears started coming out from his beautiful brown eyes

"What...," I glared at him and my glare was enough to make him stop laughing at me

Insensitive human being

I quickly laid on his bed and he laid beside me, still, there was a smile on his lips which I don't know why but gave me a strange satisfaction to me

"You know you're so cute," he looked at me, and I quickly looked at him when these words left from his mouth

"Me, cute," I asked raising my eyebrows and he nodded

I shook my head, but my eyes paused at the thing which I just saw

I quickly sat up from the bed and went there, I quickly opened the door of the balcony and slowly stared at their yellow roses

Oh my God, these are those same roses which I bought for him when I went to tell him "thank you," when he saved me from Lucas

Even some petals were missing on those roses, because that day, I showed my anger on these innocent yet so beautiful creatures, I pouted and turned around only to find him, staring at me intensely

"You bring them here," I asked him and he nodded looking at them

"They're so beautiful," he smiled at me

I stared at those yellow roses even some petals were missing on them, again and they're the most attractive thing here in his luxurious bedroom his balcony was at the size of a normal room, so big it is graced with several rare and expensive show plants around with some beautiful flower plants that I only saw in discovery channel

"Thank you again," I can't stop myself and wrapped my arms around  him right there, he didn't even take a second before wrapping his arms around me too

We stayed there, in that same position for some time

Zuriel POV

A strange satisfaction I was feeling when she placed her head over my chest, I caressed her hair, and rested my chin on her hair,

She suddenly pulled away from me and ran on my bedroom

Oh, so this hug was a mistake for her, my heart squeezed at this but I saw her coming back, with a blanket and some cushions

She quickly arranged them on the floor

All I saw was a blanket on the ground along with some cushions

"What am I supposed to do?" I eyed her skeptically.

"Jeez, someone is grumpy." She rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Lie down." She instructed me whilst she lowered down to the blanket. She scooted over and motioned for me to do the same. Hesitantly, I followed. I did what she told me to do and waited for something to happen.

"Now what." My tone was irritable.

With a tiny inward sigh, she answered. "Look up."

"Brielle don't be stup..."

I looked up at the inky blackness of the night sky and inhaled. The night was deep and pristine, filled with faint yellows, a few dull red, and the white perfect diamonds in thousands or maybe millions.

It was a cool, windy night; the swaying of trees and rustling of leaves could be heard but not seen. Briefly, a dark, wispy cloud eclipsed the crescent moon. For a few shadowy moments, it looked like there was a halo around the cloud.

"It's amazing, isn't it?" She murmured.

"Jesus, how did you manage to find this?" I questioned her in wonder. It was an incredible sight

"I just did. You are so involved in the small circle of your everyday life that you often ignore these little things." Her voice was throaty.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" I tilted my head and asked her.

She thought hard about it before answering. She appeared hesitant and bit her lip. "Because you see it's the balcony of your room, I manage to find this beautiful scene on the sky, instead of you."

"I can't keep track of everything!" I rolled over so my body was turned her side. If she was startled by the proximity, she didn't express it.

"You don't even notice when a person cares for you." She declared, smiling sadly.If ice cubes were available I would have sucked them down one by one. Her accusation made a strange heat rise to my skin. Her tone was mild. Her smile seemed easy and genuine but still it bothered me. Was I really oblivious to things happening around me?

"Like who?" I leaned closer to her, intrigued.

"Your family, your parents,  friends even though you only have few." She paused to chuckle. She gazed at my eyes deeply.  Your house maids, heck even me...!" She answered fiercely.

"Even you?" My head shot up in surprise.

"Yeah... even me." She blinked in disbelief of her honesty. Her lip trembled as she bit out the words.
