Her Past IV: meeting him for the first time

I felt immense pain between my legs when I moved on my bed. I opened my eyes and found sun rays coming from the window. I sat and hissed. I didn't remember what happened after I fainted. I look at my side, Richard was not there and it was so disappointing. I was about to get down from the bed. That's when someone opened the door of our room and I knew it could be no one except him. Richard came inside with a tray of breakfast in his hand. He kept the tray on the side table and sat beside me and kissed my forehead.

"good morning baby"

"Good morning," I whisper in a low tone.

"I know you must be feeling sore and I'm sorry... I was so engrossed in your beauty that I lost control over myself but next time I will be careful, promise" I didn't reply and smiled.

"Have the breakfast and then took the painkiller"

"First I want to have a bath," I said and stood up from the bed but then I fell on the bed feeling terrible pain between my legs... I saw the blood stain on the bed.

"sorry" I whispered feeling embarrassed.

"Heyy relax... it's not your fault and yaa, let me help you in taking bath"

"What?" I asked shockingly

"yes.. that I can do as compensation for my love as I was too rough on you," he said and picked me in his arms carefully.

"I will manage," I said shyly

"Why would you when your husband is there to care, adore and love you... don't forget you are not alone." a blissful smile appeared on my face. How can I be so lucky to have such a caring partner in my life who loves me so much? tears of happiness welled up in my eyes and I thank god for sending him into my life again.

Tomorrow will be my 18 birthday and I'm sure in this whole world no one can be happier than me as Richard promised me earlier that he will mark me on my 18th birthday. I was waiting for Richard to come home. I wanted to celebrate my first birthday after marriage to him. During these four months, his love and care made me fall in love with him. He spoiled me so much that I can't imagine living without him for even a day. I look at the clock and it's 10.00. I sat on the bed and started thinking about our relationship. He is the only one who cares about me in this whole world, otherwise, I was just alone. I was lost in my thoughts when the door of our room opened. I looked at the door and found Richard standing there but he was drunk and soon my smile turned into fear. He always lost his senses whenever he drank. I asked him so many times to stop drinking but he says he's Alpha and he has to drink as he sits among rich people and his biggest excuse is he is not the only Alpha who always drinks. In fact, according to him, all Alpha has a habit of drinking alcohol.

He loves me and he's an amazing and perfect person, what a girl wants as his husband but when he drinks and has me, he is no less than a beast. in these past months, I started hating two words from deep in my heart, first s*x and second Alcohol. he started coming towards me with staggering steps. I moved back with fear. He always misbehaved when he was drunk. I know soon I will be under him and have to face his hard sex. I stopped when there was no space behind me to move. He came closer to me and attached his lips to mine. Oh god, this alcohol taste always made me puke but I controlled myself because I know it will not help me but increase his anger. He picked me up in his arms and took me towards the bed.

I was lying under the blanket naked that's when I started feeling pain in my whole body. I sat up and the realisation hit me. In everything, I forget today is my 18th birthday and I will morph into a werewolf. I look towards the clock. It's 11.45. I quickly wore my clothes and went into the garden. with every passing second, the pain was increasing. I felt like I couldn't breathe, It was too much for me to take. I know this day will come in the life of every werewolf but no one in my life would tell me what I will do when this day comes. The pressure inside my chest was too much to take. I started screaming because of too much pain, it felt like my skin was ripping off. Tears streamed down my face and I rolled down, seeing my hands and legs turning into paws and my nails grew bigger and soon the pain ended when I completely turned into a werewolf. I laid down breathing heavily then I stood up and started running towards the outside not knowing where I'm going. I was just running to calm myself. That's when I heard the voice of water. I started running towards that. I heard someone calling me but I ignored it and soon I reached near the water. I look at myself in the water. I morphed into a beautiful golden wolf but then a lone tear escaped from my eyes knowing that in this beautiful phrase I'm still all alone. I have no one to tell me what I should do now. How to convert me again into a human form. I sit straight hearing some noise in brushes. I turned and found myself surrounded by many werewolves. I looked on the other side and I realised I came out of my pack.

"I didn't want to harm you" I wanted to say this but I can't say that in my wolf form and neither do I know how to communicate with them in this form. A human came from the side and stood in front of me. He is in a black coat and his whole face is covered with a cloth except his eyes, which are blood red. Maybe because of sleepless nights or because he cried too much.

"Who are you and why you come here?'' His harsh voice sent shivers to my core. I know I should be scared but his harsh voice felt so good. He came closer to me and observed me.

"You just morphed into a wolf?" he asked. I nodded and again a tear rolled down my eyes, thinking about the pain I went through because of this.

"Is there no one with you?" he asked again. I nod when I hear someone's voice in my mind.

"Mate"

"What?" I looked at that person carefully who was standing so close to me. observing every detail of him.
