"Heyy… myself Maya, your wolf and he's our mate" she howled in my mind happily.
"no.. he can't be our mate" I denied but in my heart, I felt our connection the moment I saw him.
"He is," she said.
"no... I'm married and our mate is Richard not him" I stated. She didn't reply.
"Maya" I called her but still, she didn't reply. That person came to me and wiped my tears and that's when I felt a spark in my whole body like I touched the 440-volt current wire. He too moved back, maybe he too felt that same thing.
"You can convert yourself, just you have to crouch down and think about your human form, top to toe.. ok," he said. I nodded and was about to accomplish what he said but then he stopped me.
"You will find yourself nacked when you convert. it's better if you go to your pack and then you morph yourself" he said.
"But Alpha, she entered our pack. How can you let her go? What if she's involved with our enemy" A person came from behind him and warned him. I nod my head negatively.
"she won't harm anyone. she's a golden wolf, it shows her pure soul. Moon goddess never gives a golden wolf to any random one" he said.
"Let her go" he ordered and everyone left my way and immediately I ran towards the way I came from. as soon as I enter my house. I did what he told me and morphed myself into human form and it was painful too, like cracking all my bones in one. I cried and opened my eyes finally when I was in human form.
I was naked as he said. Thanks to the moon goddess he stopped me when I was about to convert myself there otherwise I would have died because of embarrassment. I went to my room.
I opened the door, my eyes went to Richard who was sleeping peacefully. He didn't wake up even after hearing my painful scream. I sighed and lay down beside him. I was so tired, it seems that my whole energy was used in morphing.
I closed my eyes and soon darkness consumed me. Early in the morning, my sleep broke with an angry growl. I opened my eyes and looked at Richard who was still sleeping.
"How could you do this?" I heard Maya's angry voice in my mind.
"what did I do?" I asked.
"How can you marry someone like this? That too before your 18th birthday? How could you marry someone who doesn't even care to be present at your difficult time? who is not present when you're in pain" she frowned.
"you're judging him wrong. he is not in his sense that's why he was not there with us otherwise I'm sure he would not let me go anywhere alone especially when things come to my safety" I tried to defend him
"I asked why you married him?"
"I'm compelled to do this." I started telling Maya about the whole incident that happened from my marriage till now and she listened to me very carefully.
"How can someone be so innocent and pure? '' She signed.
"What do you mean by that?"
"you're too naive for this cruel world, Sana"

"where are you lost?" I heard Richard's voice. I turned my face towards him, he was looking at me and I could see the desire in his eyes.
"Oh god, I'm already tired. I can't handle his rough sex right now" I thought.
"Then tell this to him," Maya said in my mind.
"Are you going mad? He will get angry if I deny him. especially when he's so aroused"
"So what? it's your body and you can deny it if you don't want to have it" Maya muttered. I rolled my eyes and was about to reply to her when I felt Richard's hand on my thigh.
"Tell him that you're tired" Maya yelled at me in my mind. I never thought that I would have someone to talk to like this without saying any word and conversation will be like this in my mind and above that, I have to argue with her.
"Maya"
"say it" she frowned
"Alpha... I'm ti--tired" I finally uttered. I looked at him, he was gazing at me angrily. I bow my head. He cupped my womanhood angrily.
"What did you say?" he hissed.
"I'm sorry... please leave me it's hurting" a tear rolled down my eyes.
"I asked what you said?"
"I'm" before I could complete he inserted his three fingers in one go.
"Aah" I hissed with the sudden interaction and that's when Maya took control of my body and growled at him, which was enough indication for Richard that my wolf didn't like it. he immediately backed off in fear.
"you got your wolf?" Richard asked.
"yes.. she got me and it's better for you to behave properly because I'm not sin free like her '' Maya scoffed. Richard distances himself from me and Maya gives control to me.
"Alpha" I muttered, fearing his reaction.
"So now you get your wolf of a higher rank, you will show your power on me" he smirked. I could see how hurt he was because of Maya's behaviour.
"I'm sorry... I don't know what happened to her suddenly. She took control of my body and said all those things to you. I'm sorry on behalf of her." I apologised but he didn't reply and left the bed. He took out his clothes from the cupboard and went to freshen up.
"How could you talk to him like that? I can feel with his voice how much he hurt because of your behaviour" I frowned at Maya.
"Can't you see that he is using your emotion in his favour"
"Just shut up Maya, you don't know how much he loves me" I frowned and went to my cupboard and took out my clothes.

I was waiting for Richard to come out and when he came out he turned his face to another side. I went towards him and hugged him from behind.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry.. believe me Maya took control over my body otherwise I would never let her talk to you like that" I said. Richard holds my hand and brings me in front of him
"Maybe she doesn't like the fact that you married me. As I'm not your mate" Richard said and I realised that he was right. I remember how Maya reacted a while ago when she saw Richard.
"but she has to understand that you're my husband and my chosen mate too '' I said and a smile came on his face. He kissed on my forehead and then on my lips. After a long smooch, he parted away and kissed my forehead again.
"I love you," He said while panting heavily.
"moron" I could hear Maya cursing him in my mind. ok, now I can see where my future is going. My wolf hates my chosen mate and my husband loves me unconditionally.
