I came out of my thoughts when I heard the sound of the door opening. I look at the door side. Richard was standing there with a tray. I have been feeling weak since yesterday. He sat beside me and was about to keep his hand on my cheeks but I held his hand.

"What happened?" he asked.

"This is not working anymore, Richard," I called him by his name after a long time and I could see he was stunned.

"did you call me by my name"

"Yes, I did it because I want to make you angry. '' I thought but didn't reply.

"Why are you behaving like this?" he asked. "Are you angry with me? did I hurt you again"

"I'm not feeling well" I lied because I have no answer to why I'm behaving like this with him.

"I'm sorry... I should guess by your behaviour that you're not ok.. let's go to the doctor"

"there is no need to go to the doctor... I will get fine if I'll take some rest"

"Are you sure?" I could see how much he was concerned about me and here I'm thinking about someone else. guilt started consuming me again.

"I'm not ill"

"but you said you're not feeling well"

"Yes, I'm not feeling well because now I'm tired of pretending everything... I'm tired of trying on my marriage... I'm tired of trying to love you" I finally confessed what I wanted to tell him for so long.

"I think you're not well because you're uttering nonsense" he snarled. A tear rolled down his eyes. I know I'm hurting him but I can't help it.

"I'm sorry Richard but that's true. I don't love you" he held me through my arms and pulled me closer.

"you're hurting me," I muttered. Instead of loosening his grip, he tightened it.

"And what are you doing? Do you have any idea how much it's hurt... I love you. wait.. you're mad at me, right? tell me what happened, and I will correct my mistakes. You have a problem with my drinking right? I will never touch alcohol. I promise but please don't leave me" Tear welled up in my eyes with his words and it's hurting to see him like this. He gives me everything and what I'm giving him is a betrayal. I'm leaving him.. no I can't do this to a man who loved me when nobody did.

"I'm not leaving" before I could say anything further I heard Maya growl in my mind because of happiness.

"Our mate is near us," she muttered.

"Is he?" I asked and soon I distanced myself from Richard and went in the direction Maya was guiding me. A smile came to my lips thinking about him. Is he coming for me.. for his mate... I was about to take a step ahead out of the house when Richard came in front of me.

"where are you going?"

"leave my way"

"I asked where are you going?"

"it's not necessary to tell you everything" I scoffed.

"I asked where are you going?" He frowned. I took my steps back seeing his anger.

"If you stop today Sana then we will never be able to meet our mate" Maya muttered.

"I don't love you Richard and whom I and my wolf love are near us. I know I'm doing wrong to you but please understand me.. please" before I could utter anything I saw someone was behind Richard he was about to hit him with a stick but I came in front of him.

"Aah," I screamed in pain as that stick hit my head.

"Sana" I heard Richard scream. He held me in his arms. my eyes went to that person. I saw him somewhere but can't remember when and where.

"It was with our mate, I mean he was among his men who surrounded us on the lake when we accidentally entered our mate pack," Maya replied.

"It means he is also here" I concluded and distance myself from Richard but that stick hit my head so hard that I couldn't even see anything properly and soon darkness consumed me

"Aah," I sat holding my head. my eyes went to Richard who was sitting beside me. I started remembering everything that happened before I went unconscious. I stood up from the bed.

"Maya" I called her but she didn't reply. I was feeling pain in my whole body.

"Are you ok?" Richard asked, holding my hand, bringing me back to reality.

"I'm fine.. don't worry"

"if you don't love me then why did you come in front of me to save me, why did you take it on yourself" he grinned

"Where is he?" I asked, ignoring his statement.

"Who?" he scowled.

"my mate" I finally said with lots of courage. "He was here before I fainted... where is he?"

"Ohh.. so you're leaving me because you find your mate"

"no... I'm leaving you because I don't love you... you loved me and I'm always grateful to you but I can't love you back. I always tried to make myself understand that my attraction towards you is my love but somewhere in my heart I know that I don't love you"

"Who is your mate?" he asked. There was no expression on his face and his emotionless face was enough for me to send shivers all over my body.

"I asked who is your mate" he yelled. I distanced myself from him. He clutched his hair. I could see that he was trying his best to control his anger.

"If he's that person who attacked me then forget about him."

"What did you do to him?" I asked, getting panicked.

"Till now nothing but I promise not to give easy death to him and his companions. Earlier I was mad at them because they hurt you but now you give me one more reason to make their life hell" he smirked.

"Please let them go… please" I pleaded to him.

"let me think about this.. my slave asked something from his Alpha.. should I deny it?" he scratched his forehead with his finger and anticipation ran through my veins seeing his devil side.

"ok, I will let them go but only on two conditions" he stated.

"wh--what condition?" I asked.

"First you're not going to leave me.. not now nor in future" he stated.

"And what is your other condition?"

"You have to please me," he said, rolling his finger on my arms.

"Please don't do this.. you can't compel me to love you like this."

"Who wants your love... what you think, I don't know you never loved me... I knew it from the very first day but I tried to get your love. Well, what can I do when it's already obvious that you can't love me and believe me now I don't care if you love me or not. you have to stay with me.. you're bound to love me.. to serve me on my bed and you can't leave me like that not now, nor in future… not before giving me my heir" he uttered leaving me in shock.

"I love you but I'm not a fool who let his love go so easily" Richard came close to my lips to kiss but I turned my face to the other side. He started kissing my neck.

"you're on heat Slave" Richard smirked. I looked at him in utter shock and I realised he was right.

"I can smell, you're hell aroused"

"Maya" I called her again in my mind but she didn't reply. Richard moved his hand on my blossom, pressing it harder.

"Aah," I hissed because of pain but instead of removing his hand. I started grinding my body with his.

"Maya" I again screamed her name but this time loudly.

"don't call your wolf, she can't help you. I already injected wolfsbane in your vein when you were unconscious and because of that she went into deep slumber" he spanked my ass.

"I was a saint for you but you forced me to show you my devil side. I always loved you but what did you do? you just used me till your mate came and when he arrived you didn't even think for once to leave me. you deserve this bitch" I wanted to answer him but the pain was too much for me to take.
